I just can‘t wait to see how Setsuo Ito will voice act ???%!! I had hoped we might already hear it in yesterday‘s episode (I knew I would be needed), but maybe they decided to wait with that until the inner dialogue part that we‘re gonna see in the next 2 episodes? Anyways, I am absolutely hyped, especially for that dialogue part in general … I think it‘s one of my favorites out of all of mp100

this. also:

i keep forgetting how good the voice acting is in english (because i rarely watch the dub *cries*. i can't practice japanese listening with it). this moment is just as good in the original japanese; shigeo is surprisingly polite here:

モブ：「逃げて！みんな、逃げて！」

霊幻：「モブ！ 」

エクボ：「生きてたか！」

モブ：「あの人は力を出し過ぎて自滅しました！」 自滅（する）〖じめつ〗　self-destruction. kanji here are literal AF: 'self' + 'destroy'.

霊幻：「大出血じゃねえか！」 出血（する）〖しゅっけつ〗　bleeding, haemorrhaging; the component kanji here are also very literal ('exit, come out' + 'blood'). the 大 (だい) prefix emphasizes just how much shigeo's bleeding here.

モブ：「師匠。逃げてください！」

I think this is my #1 favorite Reigen moment of all time.

The exchange, albeit short, is so perfectly reminiscent of their characters. The way Mob was very clearly fleeing from a giant wall of explosive energy that’s approaching them extremely quickly screaming, “RUN!!!! RUN AWAY!!!!!!” but Reigen wasn’t even really listening to him until Mob used his angry teacher voice because he was too distracted by whether or not Mob was okay.

*voice cracking* “IT’S MOB!!!! LOOK!!!!”

“He ended up releasing too much energy and self-destructed—“

*very clearly not paying attention* “YOU’RE BLEEDING LIKE CRAZY!!!”

“MASTER. YOU NEED TO RUN.”

It’s very funny and also very cute. An entire explosion is about to go off a half-mile away in T-minus 9 seconds and Reigen is like “oh my fucjing god your arm. it’s bleeding.” Like YEAH. BUT MUCH MORE IMPORTANTLY:

You know, there’s something really poetic about Teru’s Japanese voice actor being Matsuoka Yoshitsugu, whose most well-known role is Kirito, the protagonist of Sword Art Online, who inspire the existence of many standard light-novel protagonists.

Hello hello do you think we will ever get a chance to see mob stage play part 4 any time soon ( season 2)? 🥺

I feel we have a tiny chance since from part 2 to 3 it took 3 years for it to happen and the anime was still on going so maybe it helped. but as in 2024 the anime is over and i dont know if jpn fans are as interested/hyped for a new stage play

Gods, I really hope so!

I keep hope precisely because of that gap of time, theatre productions can take a lot of time to set up after all, even if their entire run time once they debut isn't that long. I think there should be some fair chances considering the anime still seems to be fairly popular, and while admittedly I don't know much about the japanese reception specifically, the popularity seems to be enough for them to still bring out merch every so often (it's crazy, honestly, the amount of collabs and merch that comes out considering the anime isn't in emission anymore).

Furthermore, the actors seemed SO passionate about the plays and their characters that I think it would be such a shame if we never get anything more. You could tell how important Mob Psycho 100 is for Setsuo Ito and I think he would really adore doing more things for it, not to mention every other actor who fell in love with their characters. They're just such a charming bunch of people who poured their all into the plays and ah, I just want to see them take a go at season 2, season 3 in a perfect world.

Anyway, that's it to say: I think we still have chances for it to happen!

(In regards to your English, don't worry! Mine is far from perfect too. Though if you happen to speak Spanish, that's my first language, and I can't speak but I can mostly understand Portuguese, French and Italian if that helps. Otherwise it's fine tho, understandable is more than good enough! It doesn't need to be perfect at all)

love that they also kept ritsu's expression from the manga in this, but i did miss the line from this scene although i guess there wasn't really a need for it since we got to see that he landed safely

i'm not gonna lie, i did miss the part where ritsu and ??? kept destroying and reassembling the bouquet, but i'm just glad they kept most of ritsu's scene even though they had so little time and still managed to add some anime only scenes for him

would i have liked it more if the had kept the bouquet part instead of these anime only scenes? i'm not sure, probably yes?

as always, it's a pleasure to hear setsuo ito's interpretation of mob and now of kageyama shigeo

next week is the last episode and i'm Y_Y but i'm also really looking forward to the conversation between mob and shigeo, serizawa's lines, reigen's confession, mob's ugly cry and of course the post rampage scenes
