Summary:

Kagome watched the tree line with wide eyes, tracking the demonic energy that prowled in the shadows. A smile tugged at her lips, equal parts curiosity and challenge. "I know you’re there," she whispered, her voice soft yet steady, coaxing the presence forward. The air crackled with energy, the faint hum of power brushing against her skin like a warning. Then, from the shadows, a massive white dog emerged, its fur gleaming under the moonlight as though spun from silver. Crimson eyes locked onto hers, regal and unyielding, radiating an intelligence far beyond any ordinary beast.

I wonder, if, when the ladies over on discord were talking about wrangling, they had envisioned a different kind of picture concerning Kagome riding Sesshoumaru like a bronco.

That I may or may not have also drawn.

Hey guys! Long time no see! I get questions regularly about whether or not Raindrops is going to continue, and the answer is of course! As long as I'm still functioning this comic will go on, even if it takes a while.

My usual workflow is that I write a script, then draw all the thumbnails of the chapter, and then start doing page sketches. (I am currently in this stage) I tend to want to draw all of the pages before I ever start inking/toning and then post. And because I also work and get distracted by life it takes a while so I'm very grateful for those who stick around.

Currently, for those who are interested, all WIP updates for Raindrops is being posted on my Patreon. Here is an example of a WIP sketch that I have posted of the current cover! Patrons got to vote on various concepts I had in mind.

I try to post page sketches at least once a month, though no dialogue has been revealed as to not spoil it for everyone yet. But it's fun to see the patrons guess what is happening. That is all to say, yes, Raindrops is still happening. I haven't forgotten about it, and thumbnail count currently sits at about 56 pages for this first part of Chapter 9.

Here is my casing of Tales From the House of the Moon by Resmiranda @ahollowyear and typeset done by the lovely Megannana of the Amateur Fanfic Binding group on Facebook. This is my holy grail and I loved casing this so much. This story means so much to me it got me through some hard times in High School and this was a lifeline to me. I hope I did it justice. And no we aren’t gonna talk about the typo. 🥹

The two brothers darted forward to the hoard of insect demons. Inuyasha smugly making eye contact with Sesshomaru, "Keh, watch your knees old-"

Her arrow lit fiercely, like a shining comet striking past them. However, both stopped in their tracks when met with the warm splatterings that once were alive.

"Hm," he tilted his head, brows rising, "Impressive."

In the distance, she jumped around. Bounding with enthusiasm, "I got it! Omg!" She waved her arms, "Did you guys see that!? I did it!"

Sesshomaru looked over his shoulder, tipping his head thoughtfully, "Perhaps you will join this one hunting."

Color rose to her cheeks as she smiled bashfully, "Uh, yeah. Sure, I'd-"

"WENCH," Inuyasha seethed, "What the actual fuck?!"
