"First of all, we aren't arguing," she scoffed, "And secondly, you've already tried several times. Something different this time?" She huffed, climbing over the obstacle.

His smirk didn't falter, his eyes full of mischief, "Perhaps this one has a new tactic?"

Shippo squinted at the man, "Are you flirting?!"

I’ve been rewatching InuYasha a lot recently and felt the urge to draw my girl. I’ve always pictured Kagome to be a bit older than she was described - maybe a 17-year-old senior in high school at the beginning of the show and a 21-year-old at the end. I like to think that she spent the three year span that she was stuck in the present era attending college, maybe majoring in history and spending her spare time in the archery and martial arts clubs.

I also wish we got more Kagome outfits D; her green school uniform is iconic but we deserved even more from this diva.

Technique wise, I used this piece to work on anatomy and creating a background (I’m not used to making backgrounds and they really intimidate me, but I think I did a good job here!)

Hey guys! Long time no see! I get questions regularly about whether or not Raindrops is going to continue, and the answer is of course! As long as I'm still functioning this comic will go on, even if it takes a while.

My usual workflow is that I write a script, then draw all the thumbnails of the chapter, and then start doing page sketches. (I am currently in this stage) I tend to want to draw all of the pages before I ever start inking/toning and then post. And because I also work and get distracted by life it takes a while so I'm very grateful for those who stick around.

Currently, for those who are interested, all WIP updates for Raindrops is being posted on my Patreon. Here is an example of a WIP sketch that I have posted of the current cover! Patrons got to vote on various concepts I had in mind.

I try to post page sketches at least once a month, though no dialogue has been revealed as to not spoil it for everyone yet. But it's fun to see the patrons guess what is happening. That is all to say, yes, Raindrops is still happening. I haven't forgotten about it, and thumbnail count currently sits at about 56 pages for this first part of Chapter 9.

Here is my casing of Tales From the House of the Moon by Resmiranda @ahollowyear and typeset done by the lovely Megannana of the Amateur Fanfic Binding group on Facebook. This is my holy grail and I loved casing this so much. This story means so much to me it got me through some hard times in High School and this was a lifeline to me. I hope I did it justice. And no we aren’t gonna talk about the typo. 🥹

Day ²⁰ - Uncharted

She sat on the ground, contently gazing at the ridge and sky. The kit lounged comfortably, head on her tanned legs, "Hey Sesshomaru, why'd you decide to come along?"

He was quiet for so long, the boy readied to repeat himself. "Why were you both so determined to climb the mountain?"

He watched the boy's face deadpan, Kagome chuckling at him. "It was my idea," she said with a soft smile. "Sometimes, you do things just to do them. Er, maybe it's a human thing," she laughed a bit uncertainly.

"Stand up," he spoke. He watched the two stand, confused, slowly morphing to bewilderment as he dropped to a knee. "This one's back," he beckoned.

"I, I can't- That-"

He stared at her as she stumbled over her words, stammering red-faced. "You said a human thing," he echoed, "Do the thing."

Her mouth snapped shut, contently fidgeting a moment before her hands eased onto his shoulders. He stood abruptly, jostling her into place on his back. "Kit," he called, "Keep up."

He jumped.

She buried her face into his shoulder. He was so much faster than Inuyasha, it was startling. He chuffed, a small smile cutting his normally stoic features. The boy keeping pace with his slower glide, "Open your eyes mama!"

She peeked past the soft silk. Her eyes finding his soft gaze, he was laughing at her. What was going on? Her cheeks warmed as the wind rushed by. This was uncharted territory. What was she doing???

Man, if you like Sesskik or Sesskag, 7th Time Loop really REALLY scratches that craving for that almost exact ship trope. The main female character is actually amazing, like look at her go and standing equal to her man. Wow. Please tell me we are getting s2. The animation is amazing.
