Drained

When zinnias die and go to seed they don’t shrivel up and decay. It looks as though the life drained out of them leaving a fragile husk behind. When I am recovering from an intense anxiety attack I feel the same way. Sometimes recovery from one attack can last days.

It is always draining for me to be in crowds (even with friends or family) and I feel out of place.

At my lowest I also often feel completely alone though I am rarely by myself.

Focus on Jesus

Read: MATTHEW 14 : 22 - 33

These verse in The Bible reminded me of how I, as believer often call The Lord Jesus and try to stand in my faith, but later on, after seeing the strong wind (Problems) and big waves (difficulties and weight of trials) I lose sight of Him, I lose sight of His power, His miracle. And I began to focus on my own emotions and fear.

Which made me think... How many miracles and mighty works of God have I missed simply because I doubted Him and focus on my emotions? How many types of blessing and miracles have I lose because I chose to take my eyes off of Jesus?

What is the Holy Spirit telling you today? What fear and doubt do you have in your life right now that's stopping you from perusing that Job? that career? that course? that ministry? or whatever and wherever the Lord is leading you? It's not too late to experience God's miracle and power. Jesus said, "Do not be afraid, take courage, I AM here."
