Any type of customer service is the worst type

I know a lot of people understand this, but a lot more don't. Working as a cashier, selfscan attendant, call center, waiter, are all the actual backbones of our society. And yet we get treated like shit?

I'm not gonna sit here and tell you I'm the nicest person ever, because I'm not; what I will tell you is that I shouldn't NEED to be super nice! and! be! super! chipper! You are here to get shit and go. We do not need to talk like we're A) old friends, having brunch! or B) like I'm the bad guy for telling you "that price is incorrect, you are thinking about last week's sale." I am not your servant. Nor a slave. I am here to help when you fuck up (because you will) or fix an issue (that was caused by previous shift not taking down the tags or management telling us to "just fix it" even though that's going to cause issues down the line).

I am just very tired of this industry and I haven't even been here that long. I want a different job I will actually like. But that's hard to find.

Auchan "Selfscan Report": The first sustainability report that fits on a till receipt

With its "Selfscan Report", which was developed by Serviceplan, Auchan is demonstrating just how sustainable a sustainability report can be. "Auchan – the responsible discounter" is noted for its long-term commitment to offer its customers solutions that provide affordable sustainability and a better quality of life at everyday low prices.

The sustainability report has now been reformatted to reflect this claim: the medium accessible to everyone from one of the largest supermarket chains in Europe is the till receipt. This has a barcode on it that when scanned presents customers, business partners and journalists with an app containing the sustainability report. The result: a 99 percent saving in paper.

The “Selfscan Report” was awarded the “Grand Prix” in the “Design” category and a silver Lion at the 60th “International Festival of Creativity” in Cannes.

Wie ein Nachhaltigkeitsbericht wirklich nachhaltig sein kann, beweist Auchan mit dem "Selfscan Report", der von Serviceplan entwickelt wurde. Dieser wurde mit einem Barcode versehen, der Kunden, Geschäftspartner und Journalisten beim Scannen des Codes direkt zur App führt, die den Nachhaltigkeitsbericht beinhaltet. So werden pro Bericht 99 Prozent Papier gespart.

Der "Selfscan Report" wurde beim 60. "International Festival of Creativity" in Cannes mit dem "Grand Prix" in der Kategorie "Design" sowie mit einem silbernen Löwen ausgezeichnet.
