Guess who got motivation to continue recreating my SMTO ocs (like how I said I would back in july-) because Michaela Laws came back to tumblrrr-

No but genuinely, welcome back Michaela! Thank you for creating the game that helped kickstart my love for drawing <3

Honestly, when recreating this character I actually started getting a tiny bit emotional- Probably because this was one of T H E first genuinely serious ocs I’ve ever made (oh hey I also have michaela to thank for kickstarting my love of creating ocs as well- so, thank you pt. 2 <3), and even though she was kinda cliche when I first made her, I still loved her so so much-

As of right now, only her design is redone, I still want to revamp and improve her personality to be more in depth and I want to continue worldbuilding for her part in the universe (it’s more like an au at this point because it doesn’t go with the canon route and with how much I’ve done with my own worldbuilding, I’m sorry-) so maybe when all my ocs are done being redesigned and made to be more in depth I’ll make a longer post just for the relationship tabs and the worldbuilding I’ve done-

Anyways, enough of that rambling-

Here is the before and after of Catherine, from 2017 to 2022! (if there’s anyone who actually recognizes this from my wattpad 2017 era, I’m surprised- but hey, shoutout to you, ily-)

As much as I get embarrassed sharing my old art, I do actually love looking back on my old art and seeing how much I’ve improved since then- Besides, back then I was creating with just as much love as I do now, it made me who I am today and I wouldn’t change that experience for anything in the world, so I’ve learned to look back with more fondness rather than embarrassment. (okay but not 100% without embarrassment, because why did I use that ‘fade in/out’ pen from firealpaca?? that pen was such a struggle to use-)

Besides, I would’ve never been able to guess that my art would improve so much. If I knew this was how my art was gonna end up back then, I would’ve freaked out- in a good way, of course-

Sorry, this post was really self-indulgent and not my usual thing to post- I just got super excited seeing that Michaela’s back and got just pure the rush of motivation to redo my old ocs- 

SMTO will always have a special place in my heart no matter how many years pass. I’ll always be thankful for such a welcoming and nice community (even if I was, and still kinda am, too shy most of the time to interact-).

eugh okay that’s enough of being sappy for today- hopefully I’ll be able to finish this small project of recreating my old ocs. (if I do, will I be more sappy from nostalgia? or will I just be normal about showing off my ocs? who knows! hell if I know!)

After signing into the visitor log, Sam made his way to Mika’s room and knocked before entering. His eyes noticed the nurse gathering Mika’s leftover lunch and utensils as quiet as possible, his wife fast asleep. At the corner of the room, aside from the get well cards and foil balloons that had deflated days ago, the small round table had a few more gifts added to the pile. Sam’s brow raised in curiosity when he saw that and glanced at the nurse. 

“Looks like she has a lot of people that care about her,” she whispered with a grin.

He smiled and did his best to help with the clean up. “Thank you for your hard work.”

She nodded back and left, closing the door behind her.

Sam settled into the chair beside Mika and took a moment to study her. She always looked beautiful in her sleep, and although that was a little cliché to admit, he didn’t give a shit. It never ceased to amaze him that peaceful expression could make him fall in love with her every morning. Clutched to her chest was Sammy Jr., and he chuckled at the adorable sight.

A somber wave swept over him as he took in the stitches on her face. Dr. Josue mentioned there would be scarring when removed, but with good maintenance they should be able to heal evenly. He let out a shaky breath.

His hand reached out to brush a strand of hair out of her face, when her eyes began to flutter open. Panicked and a little startled, he whipped out his phone and averted his gaze to the black screen.

Sam feigned sudden awareness of her awakening and smiled. “Hey. Hope I didn’t wake you.”

“S’okay,” she slurred as she stretched and yawned. “My meds really messed up my sleeping schedule and I would give anything to stop sleeping so dang much.”

He loved the huskiness of her sleepy voice, but it came with a bitter pang when he remembered why she was so tired in the first place.

“How was your day?”

She hummed. “Nothing much happened. I got up once in a while and walked around the room. My physical therapist advised a bit of activity can improve my progress for my next session next week,” she paused, and then her mouth formed an “O”, remembering something. “Your brothers and their wives also came in.”

“So that’s where all these gifts came from.”

“It was a little overwhelming for so many people I’m not quite familiar with visiting all at once, but they were good company. James’ personal assistant even came to visit. Um … what was his name again…?”

“Owen. Tall, thinks incredibly high of himself, and laughs at his own terrible dad jokes,” he scoffed.

“I happen to like his dad jokes,” she chuckled, defending Owen as always.

Sam opened his mouth to say something snarky about him when he noticed a white square box wrapped in a giant decorative red bow. At the center of the ribbon was a sticker with a familiar Instagram handle.

“Did he brag that Mel made that?” he pointed to the present.

Dang, guys. Y'all are fucking awesome. Not me, you guys. Because without you guys I wouldn't have met this milestone. I was on the bird app for at least a year before I had 100 people following me. Here, I smashed that record in 3 months and like... I don't even know how to feel about that. It's awesome. Would anyone be interested in putting their ocs in a Yandere dating sim?

I can’t make any promises but I’d like to make a Yandere dating sim! (I have a bad habit of starting a project and chickening out because I’m scared of code) but I need characters to put in the game! My account isn’t big so I don’t know how successful this will be, but I’d like to take submissions for characters. Explanation first character template below.

The main theme is small town mystery/urban gothic fantasy. The main romancables (so far) are an obsessive stalker that lives in his moms basement, a jealous elf girl that lives in the forest, a manipulative vampire boy that works night shifts and a diva witch.

It’ll be in a visual novel style with a romance point system (think seduce me the otome) you get points by choosing dialogue options. The more points you have for a specific character the better the outcome with them. If you don’t have enough points, you die.

This is the very beginning, I literally thought of doing this yesterday so the main character and story isn’t fleshed out. Like at all. Yet. So if anyone has any suggestions, things you’d like to see in the game or submissions for characters feel free to comment or dm if you don’t want to comment. If I make it to the coding part I’ll make sure to update. Thank you for reading!

June Starter Call

Heyo! It's been over a year since my last starter call, but i figure why not now! I'm borrowing this idea from @peachiiihearts​ again, but this is a starter call that will be on-going for the entire month with focus on the muses that have birthdays this month that were either assigned / picked out by me or are their canon birthdays.

-Naruto (Naruto Shippuden) : I'm a huge Naruto fan, so honestly I never really get tired of this one XD

-OHSHC : I've never actually done a roleplay for this, but I can already imagine how comedic it might be.

-Jujutsu Kaisen : So this is more of a newer anime for me, but I do have enough knowledge to carry out a roleplay- and damn, the characters are hot-

○ A few things to know beforehand ○

-When it comes to fandom roleplays, I'll be completely honest, I'm not a huge fan of Canon x Canon. So, I'd love either Oc x Oc, or Oc x CC is also fine, I'm always up for doubling at anytime. That's not to say that I'm completely against Canon x Canon, but I'm unfortunately just not a huge fan. I'm willing to compromise though.

-Not that I have anything against one liners, but please...at least give me something to work with. Everyone has their own amazing style, yes, but it'd be lovely if I was given more details than just "He waved".

-I might sometimes be a late replier, and I apologize in advance. I'm not disinterested, I promise. Please bare with me.

Disclaimer- Aron isn't ME but she is? I took aspects of my life and changed them to fit into the universe. My chronic illness is incurable, hers is a curse. Other things like that. Her backstory (Which will probably be included in a story/one shot collection for her one day) is heavily based on my past, but I changed things for the sake of privacy, staying anonymous, and because it's too much to put it all LMAO. I also didn't use my name or specific health conditions.

Trigger warning. There is implied past self-harm, abuse, neglect, and body dysmorphia ahead, but I won't go into detail.

Personality- Self-reliant, confident in her relationship but not in herself, patient with others, night owl, loves to go out but will get overwhelmed, very impulsive with her jokes and remarks, hates being jump scared and will punch a bitch if they sneak up on her though she will apologize. She appears a lot more confident than she is.

Things Sam does that she loves- doesn’t push when something is wrong, kisses over her scars, listens to her, is a total dork, is also her personal trainer and pushes her to fight harder, reassures her that he finds her beautiful.

How she meets Sam- Through a get together with Mika, where the incubi were at. She immediately knew they were demons, and Damien exposed her in fear she'd try and hurt them. After that tense conversation, she became friends with all of the incubi. They were in a 'friends with benefits' thing for a while before actually admitting their feelings.

Struggles- Health issues, insecurity in herself, trauma.

-Magic and a smidge of backstory-

She is a witch and has been studying magic since she was 15 years old, and the angels only let her keep it because she was using to heal herself from untreated infections and had no intentions to speak of others about it. Her family is also secretly involved in magic, cursing her with the inability to fully cure or treat her illness.

Edited to add- There is also a possibility that if I write her, that it will be using Mika's plot outline (Being kicked out into the mansion) There are multiple versions of her. If this is the case, she will not be a witch, so she doesn't know about the curse on her.
