Wow already up to season 5, and on episode 1 of 911. Buck is saying to Eddie while they all play pool at the firehouse, that Eddie’s relationship with Anna is getting pretty serious as he’s invited to a baby shower to meet the family. Buck I do detect a slight jealousy. The others seem to detect something from Buck also.

I hope Maddie does better soon.

The writers of this show sure do know how to keep people coming back. I have said this before I know the show is an ensemble and everyone’s stories are shown. However the show feels like Buck’s journey in so many ways to me. And I just hope end game is Buck and Eddie. I want them to be a couple. I want them to have a long and happy life together.

The writers also know how to write a disaster.

I do feel bad Eddie had a panick attack.

On the Case of the Jealous Journalist, Parley Baer and Denver Pyle both appear. They both have appeared on several episodes of Perry Mason. The interesting thing is that they both, also, appeared on the Andy Griffith Show. Parley Baer was Mayor Stoner, and Denver Pyle was Briscoe Darling. I find that to be an interesting parallel, don't you?

They both transformed from gentlemen to country folk quite nicely.

Upside Down monsters are infesting Hawkins. Including demogorgans.

The gang manage to fight of one pretty nasty demogorgan, and they manage to kill it.

Will: oh my god what is that thing??

Someone, probably Dustin: Will... it's a demogorgan...

Will slowly turns around to face him with a terrified look on his face. Everyone else, a mixture of confusion and horror.

Will: .... that's not the demogorgan.

For pete's sake. I am so sick and tired of plot twists for the sake of nothing more than to be shocking. If it doesn't make sense in the story, it is not a good twist. It's just cheap bad writing.

I can't decide if I love or hate that the episode where River meets Missy is called "The Bekdel Test".

Like the episode itself fucks hard NGL love them, but calling an episode where two amazing women meet and spend their time talking about a guy (the doctor obviously), the Bekdel Test feels somewhat,,,,mocking.
