The whole Mooneye team and Kyle Banks were some really busy bees in the last few weeks and worked very hard to get our fluffy friend Chesley ready for his big debut!

Valentine’s Day Art 2023 - Andrew and Willy

A Valentine’s Day piece I did for 2023, for my OCs Andrew (the dog) and Willy (the horse). Both are inspired reinterpretations of Sir Andrew Moray and Sir William Wallace of Scotland.

In this little universe, both of them once had quite the relationship with each other during the Independence Wars against the Englishmen. But ever since the war had ended, they both parted ways. Willy stayed to serve their new king, Robert the Bruce, while Andrew journeyed out into many parts of Scotland to offer his services.

After reuniting, Willy had expressed to Andrew that he missed him, and he wished they still could’ve stayed together. But Andrew didn’t want to risk hurting Willy, he wanted Willy to find someone who would’ve made him more happier than he did in the past.

Smashing Pumpkins - Zero 1996

"Zero" is a song by American alternative rockband the Smashing Pumpkins, released as the third single from their third studio album and first double album Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness (1995). Written by Billy Corgan, it was the first song recorded for the album and features six rhythm guitars with two line-in 12-string acoustic guitars. The cover artwork and music video were created by Ukrainian photographer and Corgan's then-girlfriend Yelena Yemchuk. "Zero" is widely considered one of the band's best songs, ranking in first place on both the Louder Sound and Kerrang! lists of their greatest songs.

Released on April 23, 1996, "Zero" reached number 9 on the US Modern Rock Tracks chart, number 15 on the US Mainstream Rock chart, number 1 on Canada's Alternative 30, number 1 in Spain, and number 3 in New Zealand. The song was also released as an EP in the US and charted at number 46 on the Billboard 200 instead of the Hot 100 due to the EP containing more than four songs, which was Billboard's limit for single releases. Similarly, in the UK, "Zero" reached number 19 on the Scottish Albums Chart as a budget album.

Propelled by the lead single "Bullet with Butterfly Wings", the album Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 with first-week sales of 246,500 units. It earned the band seven Grammy Award nominations in 1997, including Album of the Year, as well as nine MTV Music Video Awards nominations.

"Zero" received a total of 63,3% yes votes!
