Though Switzerland does have deer farms (which suprised me!) they don't seem to include white-tailed deer, so I think you're right that it's not Switzerland. I couldn't figure out where the video is originally from - it went viral a couple years ago from the twitter account @buitengebieden, which is a no-credit repost account, so that's a dead end. Lake Brienz does look turquoise like that due to some cool stuff with glacial sediments, but we've established it's probably not there. Germany has glacial lakes and white-tailed deer farming, so the video might be from there.

If the water isn't a glacial lake, then it's probably got pond dye in it. Pond dye is pretty commonly used to control algal growth, and is safe for livestock. Edit: Dug through the comments, and saw people mentioning Pennsylvania. Looking at Highplains Whitetails farm facebook, it seems pretty likely that's where the video was taken! They don't have the exact video up, but a very similar looking pond with similar tree species around it.

it's the way David genuinely thinks he's doing the right thing, but not realizing that his actions have consequences . . . the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results and we see that play out with David on a consistent level because he has repeatedly made the same mistakes and takes no responsibility for any of it, because he simply doesn't see that he's done something awful. he looks at Lenny and sees her suffering and instead of offering her the comfort she needed, he asked for her help -help that she clearly couldn't offer him at her time of need- but it wasn't because he didn't care about her suffering, it's because he genuinely believes her suffering doesn't matter. he believes it doesn't matter because he believes he can help her by bringing back her girlfriend- that her suffering is pointless because he's going to bring back what made her happy and because of this, he lost her. he didn't see the connection. didn't see what he did wrong, didn't understand. and that breaks my heart.
