Tonight really broke me. That's it. I have no silver lining.

This morning, our oven busted a censor. So we are unable to use it. Apparently, that's my fault. I guess whatever whatever on that detail.

She doesn't like microwave meals, or salads, or anything like that. Even though her mother gave us 100 to get some things to quickly heat up for a few days, and she chose most of them, she claims that she can't and won't eat.

She is panicking, obviously, so it's not her fault that she has been insisting that we will never eat again and have to move to 2 different places.

Hmm. Going that route sounds like a want, more than a worry.

Again. I'm so hurt. But guess what, I just take it.

Tonight, she was headed to pick me up from work. She hardly texted me at all, other than to continue to say (as if I didn't know) that the oven was unfixable and she was starving and napping all day to forget about it.

Well something busted in the car. It needs to be sent to the one who bought the car- her dad that tried to beat me up a couple months ago.

So we don't have reliable transportation and I work several more work days ahead. Very stressful for me, cause I have to beg for the rides.

Anyway, when she showed up at work she started texting me furiously. I didn't know about the car yet. So she said, well, we have no transport now and we have no oven. I told her that I would ask my own parents first (even if moments with them make me feel dead inside for the rest of the day).

This is the worst thing now. I'm not sure how much I have to explain, but essentially my parents were very very abusive (still are...you never get away...or maybe that's just me being an idiot too) and I was glad when they threw me out at 15. I was free. They'd been a great deal of the reason I had attempted to end it, a couple of times.

She knows how much they damaged me. She knows that I still hear my mother's voice, calling for me like she always did, so she could take me apart with her words and threats. She knows that that took a piece of me I'll never forget.

But, she texts me (again I'm not finished my shift) that I should just stay "with someone" for a week. She knows damn well that they're my only option. I told her I was very hurt. I told her I couldn't just leave my furbabies for a week, and spend time with the people that punished me for being alive from birth.

I told her, as she knows, I have been having very serious suicidal thoughts lately. I told her that situation wouldn't help me, and these people keep loaded guns. To this point it's unlikely that I would go through with anything in my own home, in my own reach. But I don't know how level emotionally I'd be, feeling cast off and right back at square one. Man I thought I escaped one fucking thing. Probably not.

I told her this was offensive, and cold, and probably the most uncaring thing she has ever said. She's still mad because she claims she was "doing it for my own good". Bullshit. She knows me better than anyone. What it sounded like to me was what it meant.

And now she's trying to come up with more shit to drag me with.

I don't know what to do anymore. I don't think I could put myself back together now.

Falastin's family already has a lot of martyrs and they were displaced more than 20 times leaving them with very little possessions. It has been extremely hard for them to meet their basic needs, and they need all the help they can get to purchase food, water and medicine (which are incredibly expensive as there is very little aid entering Gaza) as well as shelter, fuel and clothing as it's getting cold.

We accept both PayPal and Gofundme donations: 50 USD for one PayPal entry; 500 SEK for one Gofundme entry (500 SEK is around 47 USD so it's a slight discount!)

Only donations done after the raffle start (October 19th, since making this post) will count for entries. Additionally, every three weeks starting from today, one winner will be chosen and all entries for that period will be reset. The winner will be given 48 hours to respond and if they do not then we will choose another one from that time period.

Dates for raffle resets:

1) 9th of November - first winner 2) 30th of November - second winner 3) 21st of December - third winner

The winner announcement will be done on those Saturdays at 15:00 (3 PM) GMT (that's 10 AM EST).

Right now we are a little over 12k USD (counting both PayPal and Gofundme) but most of it came in the last several weeks. So we aim to get another 12k USD/126k SEK (again both PayPal and Gofundme) by the end of the first raffle round.

You can enter as many times as you want and can stack entries over time (so one 2000 SEK donation will be 4 entries, or two donations 75 USD and 25 USD will count as 2 entries). Because there will be 3 rotations, if your donations fall short of the minimum donation in the first/second rounds, you can still qualify for the next until your total exceeds the entry cost. For example, if you donated 40 USD in the first rotation you will not enter the first raffle round but can still enter second one if you donate another 10 USD. Another example: if you donated 120 USD in the first time period you can donate another 30 in the next one for one entry. You can enter second or third time even if you won previously.

BC Election

Hey BC! You are probably sick of hearing about the American election by now. This is not about that!

The British Columbia provincial election is Saturday October 19th. That’s tomorrow. You need to vote.

If you received a Where to Vote card in the mail, your voter card will have your assigned voting location on it (but you can go to another one if it's easier). If you did not receive a Where to Vote card, or you��ve lost it, you can absolutely still vote. You can find voting locations HERE.

You will need to bring ID that has both your name and your address on it. Proof of address is important because the staff need to know you’re voting in the right district. There’s a list of ID you can use HERE.

The polls are open from 8AM to 8PM. Voting is quick and usually simple. What time they’re busy depends on what your neighbourhood is like.

Information for voters with disabilities is HERE. If you have feedback on accessibility, there are ways to provide that HERE.

Elections BC does not call voters - if someone called or texted you to say the time or location has changed, that’s fraud. Check the website for accurate information.

If you got a mail-in ballot and you have not sent it yet, you can drop it off in person at any polling place before 8pm.
