Nahyuta blinked, looking down to see a little girl looking up st him with sparkling eyes. He chuckled softly, a fond smile on his lips. It wasn't the first time he had been asked something like that by kids when he prosecuted in the States.

"I'm a prince, actually." Nahyuta replied, kneeling to be eye to eye with the little girl "What about you, young lady? With eyes as sparkling as yours, I wouldn't be surprised if you were one~"

But like imagine if the new trilogy had been thought as a whole from the start and the writers had in mind Apollo’s backstory from the first game - something that we would all discover in SoJ but this time with CLUES - Apollo could have been angrier at Phoenix for the forged card (because he was scared to lose not only his job but much more, since he was already on thin ice as an illegal immigrant (yes, guys, every single ID he has is forged by logic, so...) - Apollo could have been even angrier at Phoenix (because his whole backstory is “in my country attorneys are illegals because they are accused of forging evidence and stuff like that”) - Apollo having a “strange accent that no one can identify” and confessing quickly to Trucy that he started doing the chord of steel exercise to get rid of it. - Him being really prepared to go to war with prosecution and instead he found Klaver Gavin and he’s “uh” - Emphathizing a lot with Machi  - That “Lying must be a national pastime in Borginia... And “wherever” you’re from Mr Justice, ah!” “...” In Turnabout Serenade being an actual foreshadowing - A single quote in AJ about Maya studying in Khura’in - Trucy asks things about Apollo’s past and he’s dismissive and “strange”, so that in SOJ the “You don’t like to talk about your past, do you” doesn’t refer only to Clay - Speaking of Clay, a single quick apparence in AJ, like Apollo saying that he talked a lot on the phone with his best friend in order to decide what to do after the first case?  - In DD Clay being not only his best friend, but someone “who knew things about him no one else knew?”, implying that Apollo has secrets.  - Apollo becoming closer to Klavier not only because they deserve to be friend, capcom, ya dingus  so that in SOJ there can be someone who understand what means to see your brother in a completly different light and not how you knew him  - The suddent and impossibile to understand “Satorha!” screamed by an angry Apollo by mistake (as an example, in DD in the last trial?) which he quickly dismiss until, of course, Nahyuta screams it in SOJ and the player suddently makes a connection - Apollo meeting Pearl in the DLC and being very weird around her, distant but extremely respectful but guarded - “Holy Mother” said quickly in one dialogue in one case so that the player may think that Apollo is simply religious and wondering what the f is Capcom doing but nah it’s just a slip of the tongue about his past and the fact that everyone in Khura’in is brought up religious, even him - Apollo, even if he doesn’t believe in them, being very respectful about legends in  Nine-Tails Vale because he came from a very religious place and he emphatize - Phoenix asking if Apollo really wanted to become a lawyer because of him and Apollo answering “because of you and... someone else”, and then he doesn’t talk about Dhurke it ever again until SOJ - Quicks here and there on how Apollo knows how to do the most unusual things. He knows ties, he knows how to lit up a fire, set camp, how to survive in the wild. Perhaps it’s just an ambiental conversation (like, he’s checking the Agency, there’s an old camping stove, Trucy comments that they tried go camping once but never did it again because they were terrible, Apollo comments about it and Trucy just assume he was in the boy scouts lol) (nope. He just lived with rebels in the mountains, Trucy, carry on) - And then, at the beginning of Soj, a single line before Phoenix discovers about the DCA “Apollo was really worried about me coming here, who knows why” Just think about it

When Clay had lunged for him, Nahyuta had expected to be viciously attacked or yelled at… certainly not to find himself suddenly pressed against the wall with an armful of Clay Terran, whose lips were firmly pressed against his own in a heated kiss.

The prosecutor’s knees would have buckled under his weight had he not been pressed against a wall. Slender fingers clawed into the back of Clay’s shirt as Nahyuta kissed back just as heatedly, eyes fluttering close. He had no idea why Clay was kissing him, but Holy Mother he didn’t want it to stop. Ever.

Aurora wakes up kicking and screaming from a night terror. (Starreachr)

As exhausted as he was, Nahyuta woke up as soon as Aurora's cries reached his ears and got up as quickly as his tired body allowed him, rushing towards the girls' bedroom

"What's wrong, little star?" Nahyuta asked sleepily, picking up the squirming child and holding her close to his chest, rocking back and forth to try and calm the crying child down "Did you have a nightmare, little star? It's okay, you're safe now, I won't let anyone hurt you or your sisters."

Nahyuta kept making soft shushing sound to pacify the little girl's crying, throwing a worried look at the master bedroom where Clay was still sleeping "No need to start the waterworks, little star, we don't want to wake up your Daddy..." the prince kissed the baby's forehead, humming a soft melody to get her to sleep again.

The Defiant Dragon emblem now etched permanently on his right palm still stung a bit, having been done only a few hours before, but Nahyuta's grin was wide and full of pride as he carefully applied some cream to help the inked skin heal properly, as his father had reminded him.

"I'm an official rebel too now, Uncle Datz~" Nahyuta puffed up his chest once he'd covered his palm again. As much as he'd love to show off his tattoo more, Dhurke had recommended him to keep it bandaged until it was fully healed.

"This one?" Nahyuta moved his braid aside, giving Apollo a better view of the small scar on the back on his neck. How Apollo had managed to see it was anyone's guess.

"I got it when Rayfa was only a few months old. She'd just learned how to crawl and would do so all over the house, and I usually chased after her, either to play or simply to make sure she wouldn't get into trouble. One day she somehow crawled under a table and tried to follow her in case she got stuck, but ended up hitting the back on my head on thr tabletop. The corner of the table was jagged and left this cut on the back of my neck."

With his daughter still in his arms, Nahyuta stood up to join his wife "You're a really good girl, my little lotus, never doubt it." He pressed a kiss to his daughter's forehead, nuzzling her hair with a smile "The day you were born was one of the happiest days in my life, alongside the day I married your mother."

Nahyuta smiled softly when he felt Maya's fingers slip between his own as they took a walk in the park, lacing them together until their hands were connected. He gave her hand a gentle squeeze in return, pulling her closer and rasing her hand to his lips so he could press a soft kiss to the back of her hand.

Nahyuta was still breathing hard and shaking ever so slightly hours after the fact. A barely foiled attempted assassionation by one of Ga'ran's supporters. Nahyuta hadn't been harmed before the guard had apprehended the would-be assassin, but the ambush had left him shaking.

He held onto Maya for dear life, clinging onto her as much as she clung to him, holding him firmly against her chest. Nahyuta took a deep breath, face pressed against Maya's chest, still too overwhelmed to be embarrassed by the compromising position. He just pressed himself closer to his girlfriend, sending a silent prayer to the Holy Mother for her presence.

"It's alright..." he murmured, half to himself, half to Maya, in attempt to reassume the both of them.
