A tiny girl with silver hair and eyes that sparkled like the night sky toddled over to Nahyuta. “Excuse me? Are you a princess?”

Nahyuta blinked, looking down to see a little girl looking up st him with sparkling eyes. He chuckled softly, a fond smile on his lips. It wasn't the first time he had been asked something like that by kids when he prosecuted in the States.

"I'm a prince, actually." Nahyuta replied, kneeling to be eye to eye with the little girl "What about you, young lady? With eyes as sparkling as yours, I wouldn't be surprised if you were one~"

As exhausted as he was, Nahyuta woke up as soon as Aurora's cries reached his ears and got up as quickly as his tired body allowed him, rushing towards the girls' bedroom

"What's wrong, little star?" Nahyuta asked sleepily, picking up the squirming child and holding her close to his chest, rocking back and forth to try and calm the crying child down "Did you have a nightmare, little star? It's okay, you're safe now, I won't let anyone hurt you or your sisters."

Nahyuta kept making soft shushing sound to pacify the little girl's crying, throwing a worried look at the master bedroom where Clay was still sleeping "No need to start the waterworks, little star, we don't want to wake up your Daddy..." the prince kissed the baby's forehead, humming a soft melody to get her to sleep again.

Datz gasped as he caught a glimpse of the tattoo on young Nahyuta's palm before grinning from ear to ear. "Yuty! Look at you, already geared up for a revolution! Hell yeah!" -thatzarebel

"Yeah~" Nahyuta grinned as he showed Datz his freshly-inked palm. The Defiant Dragon emblem now etched permanently on his right palm still stung a bit, having been done only a few hours before, but Nahyuta's grin was wide and full of pride as he carefully applied some cream to help the inked skin heal properly, as his father had reminded him.

"I'm an official rebel too now, Uncle Datz~" Nahyuta puffed up his chest once he'd covered his palm again. As much as he'd love to show off his tattoo more, Dhurke had recommended him to keep it bandaged until it was fully healed.

"This one?" Nahyuta moved his braid aside, giving Apollo a better view of the small scar on the back on his neck. How Apollo had managed to see it was anyone's guess.

"I got it when Rayfa was only a few months old. She'd just learned how to crawl and would do so all over the house, and I usually chased after her, either to play or simply to make sure she wouldn't get into trouble. One day she somehow crawled under a table and tried to follow her in case she got stuck, but ended up hitting the back on my head on thr tabletop. The corner of the table was jagged and left this cut on the back of my neck."

Maya's here to give Nahyuta aaaaaaaall the kisses and she's not letting him go. Ever. She missed him.

"I missed you as well, Maya~" Nahyuta accepts Maya's kisses happily, holding her close and kissing her back. He missed her too.

"Papa?" A silver-haired girl curled up on Nahyuta's lap, tugging at the prosecutor's sleeve. "I had a dream that the Holy Mother was mad at me, but Mama said she'll protect us because we're good people..." The girl could see Maya asleep in the other room. "Am I a good person too?"

"Fear not, my little lotus" Nahyuta soothed gently, pulling his daughter into his arms for a reassuring hug, pressing a soft kiss to her hair "The Holy Mother is a kind spirit, she doesn't get mad with her children."

With his daughter still in his arms, Nahyuta stood up to join his wife "You're a really good girl, my little lotus, never doubt it." He pressed a kiss to his daughter's forehead, nuzzling her hair with a smile "The day you were born was one of the happiest days in my life, alongside the day I married your mother."

Nahyuta smiled softly when he felt Maya's fingers slip between his own as they took a walk in the park, lacing them together until their hands were connected. He gave her hand a gentle squeeze in return, pulling her closer and rasing her hand to his lips so he could press a soft kiss to the back of her hand.

"I'll never stop thanking the Holy Mother for bringing you into my life, Maya~"

Nahyuta was still breathing hard and shaking ever so slightly hours after the fact. A barely foiled attempted assassionation by one of Ga'ran's supporters. Nahyuta hadn't been harmed before the guard had apprehended the would-be assassin, but the ambush had left him shaking.

He held onto Maya for dear life, clinging onto her as much as she clung to him, holding him firmly against her chest. Nahyuta took a deep breath, face pressed against Maya's chest, still too overwhelmed to be embarrassed by the compromising position. He just pressed himself closer to his girlfriend, sending a silent prayer to the Holy Mother for her presence.

"It's alright..." he murmured, half to himself, half to Maya, in attempt to reassume the both of them.

Nahyuta initially stiffened at the unusual feeling of someone rubbing his back, but relaxed when he realized that the one doing so was Datz, his uncle in all but blood and paper.

He let out a shaky exhale, rubbing his temples to try and stave off an upcoming headache as he uncosciously leaned into Datz's touch, the familiar contact proving to be beneficial for his frazzled nerves.

"Uncle Datz..." Nahyuta started, his voice lacking any of the composure he held in court, sounding a lot like the child he used to be "...do you think Father hated me? I mean... I did a lot of terrible things, sent many people to death, including his own men..."

Seeing Rayfa on the verge of crying made Nahyuta's hands twitch, fighting the instinct to pull her into a hug, like he'd wanted to do more than once during those 14 years, and reassure her he wasn't leaving anytime soon...
