Okay, all of these are basically based off of the 'sentient lost light AU' from @cuppajj, which I was obsessing about, but when I thought about it, it didn't really have a name for what it was. And I don't think 'metro titan' or just 'titan' would suffice. So I went up and thought of a classification, or multiple classifications for different kind of titans, I mean, lets spread our horizons a bit.
Okay, first up, metro titans are titans that transform into massive cities, and act as settlements for bots to colonize new planets. Honestly the first thought of it was astonishing, but just, metro titans? That kinda seems.. bland.
At first I didn't think too much about them, because honestly, who would, until I came across the sentient LostLight AU. And everything fit together perfectly, though I was quite late to the party, I started going through as many posts about it as I could at the time. And then decided to create my own Titan OC.
Verloren, the bot above is a Titan that I created, I drew the ship part first so it would make sense, but he still kinda looked like Lostlight, that was a big accident ^^'
There is another (unfinished) OC up there thats much bigger, and more blue but I'll talk about them later.
Anyways, just titan didn't suffice my brain, since you have metro titans, and then just.. titans? So, I decided to create my own classification, leading tooooooo,
Star Faring titans! (Workshopping the name still, and the emblem, kinda looks dumb) But I like it so far, and what it means is that it's a titan that transforms into a ship, not a city. A ship thats supposed to travel the stars, at first I was thinking 'Quantum titan', but not all have to have Quantum engines. Though I haven't made out all the details, I quite like what I have so far.
But why stop there? with only two. Then comes up another idea, in another comic I read, there were titans that were orbiting around the planet, doing sorts of jobs, so I started onto making the 'satellite titans'. These titans are titans that orbit around the planet, and do certain jobs. Heck some of them could be a moon orbiting around another planet.
I separated them into 3 groups, (so far), base satellite titans, Lunar satellite titans, and Job satellite titans. (Still workshopping the names)
The names should probably explain themselves but even so:
Lunar satellite titans are titans that are mainly for defense of the planet, as moons, though they can transform, they can sometimes shoot beams from their surface, most of the time they orbit around colonized planets.
Job satellite titans do things like mining from the surface, or act as a radio beam, and are typically the smallest, I've seen them sorta in comics, though not mentioned under any sort of specialized name.
And base satellite titans, basically ones that travel around the stars, before settling into an orbit, becoming a sort of stop station, for ships. They often have a crew operating them, or become fully functional cities in the sky. But I would not call them a metro titan, because they stay in space, as a sort of 'stop station'
I might make more stories or pictures about them later, but honestly, I love this idea and I hope some people would try to expand on it ^^
Stormy signing off

Titan has liquid hydrocarbons that forms Lakes, Rivers, and Seas. On top of a few bodies of liquid hydrocarbon has been found "Magic Islands were first spotted in images from 2013 and 2014 taken by the Cassini spacecraft. The Magic Islands appears near the coast of Titan’s second-largest body of liquid, Ligeia Mare, and measures about 260 square kilometers OR 100 square miles in size.
Scientists first believed they were Nitrogen Bubbles but they may be Solid Organic Compounds
The Fate of Simple Organics on Titan's Surface: A Theoretical Perspective: First published: 04 January 2024
https://agupubs.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1029/2023GL106156
Atmospheric photochemistry on Titan continuously transforms methane and nitrogen gases into various organic compounds. This study explores the fate of these molecules when they land on Titan's surface. O
Most simple organics land as solids on Titan's surface, including all nitriles, triple-bonded hydrocarbons, and benzene.
The map was drawn using data from the Cassini Mission and provides insight into how the moon has changed throughout its history.
Most of the surface is covered by organic materials, particularly plains (65 percent) and dunes (17 percent).
There is clear latitudinal variation between the different environments. The dunes are found near the equator, the organic plains are at mid-latitudes, and the poles are home to the famous methane lakes and peculiar labyrinth terrains.

I’m finding it really hard to view the Titanic submersible nonsense with appropriate gravity because goddamn this was the most avoidably stupid way to die we’ve seen in a while.
Oh it's an untethered, van-sized tube, steered by an off-brand PS3 controller, that navigates via text messages from the mothership, the texts are transmitted by Musky’s satellites, and it has no hatch, instead being bolted together around the occupants from the outside. The CEO of the company considers “safety” an obstacle, and the vehicle is unregulated and unapproved, so you have to sign a waiver that mentions death three times in the first page to board it. Every single one of those points is a reason to not board the thing.
And to top it off, these dipshits decide to name their ACME-ass submersible the Titan, and take it to the most legendary monument to Man’s Hubris on the planet, 3.7 kilometres into the abyss. Like there’s tempting fate, and then there’s this horseshit.
These MFs paid $250000 for a Darwin Award and a starring role in “Worst ways to die” Youtube videos for decades to come.
Don’t weep for the stupid, you’ll be crying all day.

On board of spacecraft Sheriff-2, the mood is shifted slightly from what it used to be like for the last couple of weeks. They are approaching their final destination. Jimmy looks at the man tenderly combing his honorary co-pilot's fur and thinks to himself what a shame this is: he had never had a passenger as pleasant and entertaining as Skizz.
JIMMY: Are you sure you want to go there, Skizz? Norman and I can take you to Leonida or Pandora or something...
SKIZZ: Of course I want to go there, man! It's my first job away from the Solar system! And my buddy is waiting for me.
JIMMY: That's... An interesting choice for the first time outside. Satellite hermits are weird fellas.
SKIZZ: Wha... "Satellite hermits"?
JIMMY: You've never heard that?
SKIZZ: No, what's that?
One of the lamps on the control panel lights up — someone's trying to communicate.
[???]: (static)
[???]: Minecrea Central — Sheriff-2, I've got your ping, see you orbiting. Landing pad is free, you're clear for landing. Hi Tim!
JIMMY: ..Well, you're about to become one, apparently!
Skizz raises a brow. Jimmy puts on his headgear and turns on the microphone.
JIMMY: Sheriff-2 — Minecrea Central, got it, preparing for landing. Hi Griaaan.
JIMMY: Imma need to turn off gravity simulation, do me a favor and go lock yourself in a passenger cabin. And bring Norman with you, please!
SKIZZ: Ay-ay captain!
SKIZZ (after a pause, in a small voice) : Is it gonna be as bad as take off?
JIMMY: No. (smile) It's a bit worse.
SKIZZ: Oh...
["Satellite hermits" is an unofficial nickname for people working on Europa, Callisto, Titan and many other satellites of big planets. There's a certain pattern of finding life and/or useful resources on moons of gas giants, and the job can be quite isolating.]

I finally have time to talk about my hc AU, yaaay!! :D

Thawed Hearts in the Void
Stardate-2134
S.I.S (Saweyan Industrious Satellite) Hub
Orbit: Titan
05:00 local time
Professor Ciel woke with a start, a mere ten seconds before his alarm went off.
He had, per usual, a sleep of emails.
A cursory glane showed nothing overly concerning, so he stood, cane in hand, Stars knewn the lowered gravity on the hub made his knees ache in the morning, and made for his espresso machine.
Half an hour later, much more awake, he rescanned the inbox.
And what he saw just about made him drop his cup.
A summons.
To a rival corporation.
For an unthinkable reason.

Guys, buy physical media it’s dying. They are taking it from us.
My local Meijer (a regional variant of Walmart) has stopped selling physical media. Like outright. It’s now gift cards for streaming services, and online shit. They are phasing out physical video games too. They are phasing out laptops, DVDs players, blueray players.
I know, I know, streaming services are so easy and convenient. But like, you don’t own it. You are at the mercy of the services. Once they kill physical media completely they can hike up the prices as steep as they like, $30, $40, $50 and more a month. Because it will be the ONLY way (short of pirating) that you can watch shows and movies. They will make it cable and satellite premium levels of expensive. And you won’t be able to stop them. They’ll hold your favorite shows hostage behind paywalls and micro transactions. They’ll vault up shows and movies and make them unavailable for long periods of time. You’ll have to have 7 different streaming services all costing $40 bucks a pop to watch the things you want.
You’ll have access to NOTHING without paying a premium. And remember, you already pay money to have an internet connection. Are streaming services really as affordable as you think? Internet price + the price of each service? That adds up. And they keep raising the price, and will keep raising the prices, because they know you’ll keep paying.
Having physical media means you get to watch your favorite shows and movies anytime. With or without internet connection. Broke as fuck? You can still watch it, because it’s yours. Did they lock up your favorite show or movie to make it more exclusive? You can still watch it with physical media because you own it. Want to let your friend borrow it? You can lend it to them, or burn them a copy. No need to fret about stupid services cracking down on password sharing. Want to watch the movie or show with online friends? You can stream DVDs over Discord so friends can watch with you.
(Am currently streaming Teen Titans the original animated series with my best friend over Discord. It’s mine, so neither of us pay anything to watch it together.)
Companies are writing off physical media as unprofitable. They are culling it. Taking it out of stores, making it less accessible.
People around me talk about all these movies and tv series they’d love to watch, but have to buy another streaming service to access it. And I offer to let them borrow the DVDs or Blueray, and they straight up tell me they don’t own DVDs or dvd players. Why?! WHY!? They subscribe to 4 or 5 different service instead forking out $50+ a month. But they put themselves at the mercy of these services, at the mercy of internet connectivity and access. They can’t even borrow a movie or show from me, because they are so dependent on internet and streaming.
Did you know there are literally ways to save your movies digitally and take them on the go? Streaming should be a neat little thing that’s convenient, it has its perks and uses, but it should NOT the only way to watch media.
Save physical media.
Buy a dvd player.
Buy movies.
Buy shows.
Own your media.
Stop renting it. Streaming is just glorified rental.
Stop renting it.
Because soon that’s all you’ll ever be able to do.

NON-WINNERS LIFE SERIES MEMBERS as celestial objects since they might eventually become winners. p.1
Tango - Venus
Extremely hot, hottest planet in the solar system thanks to it's thick vulcanic atmosphere. Lightning storming firey surface yet calm clouds at higher elevation.
It's surface is partially melted due to vulcanic activity. (Also looks bald without clouds lmao.
Despite this It's called after Venus, ronan goddes of love equated to the greek's Aphrodite. Love and beauty, what does Tango have to do with that?
Hmmm I wonder.
Bdubs - Ceres.
Ceres is a muddy (literally clay) dwarf planet (small) that orbits in the asteroid belt between Jupiter and Mars. It is full of craters since it stays in the asteroid belt and wouldn't you know it that fits as well.
Also it is named after the roman goddess of nature often equated to Demeter which fits perfectly with his nature and especially moss theme.
Etho - Mimas.
I could give a bunch of reasons for this one like silver fitting Etho perfectly or the icyness fitting with Etho's association with ice. But like..
You see it right?
Also Mimas is a moon of Saturn exactly like his soulmate-
Joel - Titan
This is Titan, the biggest of Saturn's moons. The colour fits that of a swamp and the name titan usually refers to something gigantic despite this being only a moon and not a planet and therefore small. It's also at the temperature where methane has a cycle similiar to water and has a haze of methane vapour covering it like mist...it therefore smells and looks very swampy.
Also also if we do this we can have Lizzie as Titania, which is a different moon named after the fae queen which fits perfectly with Lizzie... Speaking of:
Lizzie - Titania
Not only all that I stated in Joel's bit but this moon is also mostly made of ice and likely has an ocean of water underneath the ice. This means It's both linked to Ocean Queen Lizzie and fae Lizzie. Also It's not completely gray, it has a red-pinkish hue... It's a uranus moon btw.
Jimmy - Europa.
First of all completes the trio with Lizzie and Joel as it is a Jupiter moon (While Titan is a satellite of Saturn and Titania of Uranus).
Second of all It's canary colored with two almost wing shaped patches on opposite sides.
Third of all it has a strong connection with death and dying because it is literally covered in bleeding wounds.
Skizz - Uranus.
Listen, It's a chill big blue planet that spins really funky and has an halo of ice. It's perfect for Skizz, I already said so once and I'll say it again.
Also Skizz would love it because of the jokes around the name.
If you aren't convinced Uranus is named after the greek god of the sky which fits Skizz's making TIES live in the sky and his obsession with wind charges in Hermitcraft.
BigB - Neptune.
Dark cold and mysterious, the strongest storms in the solar system hidden by a facade of calmness and peacefulness. The furthest planet from the sun it is the one that holds the most mysteries. The one we know the least about between the main 8.

There's an old saying, probably from back in the 90s, if not earlier, before the big post-War orbital reinvestment, that laws stop at the Karman Line. Not quite true, but close enough. Technically in orbit you're in international waters, and as such companies can incorporate their stations under the laws of the Lunar Soviet, the Martian Exploratory Committee, or even the Titan Expedition if they want to get around safety regulations. Safety regulation like the one that says people need to experience real, full gravity, not just rotational or accelerational simulation, two years for every year in orbit. I hadn't been ground side in a decade. We were somewhere over I think the American Reclamation Zone, as I left the sled, tethers the only thing holding me to anything as I floated on nothing. A single hand reaching up towards the solar shade of the military satellite the company had been contracted to repair. Somewhere down there I had been born. "Ames?" came Control's reassuring voice, ringing through my company issued implants. "On structure."
"Right," came Control's voice, "don't be enjoying the view. The corporate-military conglom that owns this beast wants the job done right, and unfortunately that means I'm gonna need you to hard-wire into the satellite. Don't have your head down in the clouds."
"My head's always in the dark, Control," I said, working my way hand over hand along the guide-bars towards the access panel. "Why is it unfortunate?"
"Are you there?"
"Yeah," I said, pulling the long connection wire from the company's suit towards the panel, watching the sync happen in my cornea. "Why?"
"You'll see." "Well now," said a new voice, suddenly speak in my head with all the cloying subtlety of a nineteen year old drunk outside a bar, "aren't you just dreammmy."

The beautiful rings of Saturn in near infrared taken by the Cassini spacecraft in 2014. 🪐
📷: NASA / Maksim Kakitsev
—
Cassini–Huygens, commonly called Cassini, was a space-research mission by NASA, the European Space Agency (ESA), and the Italian Space Agency (ASI) to send a space probe to study the planet Saturn and its system, including its rings and natural satellites.
The Flagship-class robotic spacecraft comprised both NASA's Cassini space probe and ESA's Huygens lander, which landed on Saturn's largest moon, Titan.
Cassini was the fourth space probe to visit Saturn and the first to enter its orbit, where it stayed from 2004 to 2017.
The two craft took their names from the astronomers Giovanni Cassini (1625-1712) and Christiaan Huygens (1629-1695).
