Sarah remembers being really young and looking at her mom, telling her one day that Sarah would be a pretty girl like her. Esther was confused, but simply nodded and went along.

When it was just David and Sarah in the home, Sarah would try on her mother's dresses. Practically beaming at how... Natural it felt. How pretty she looked. She quickly took the dress off upon realizing she didn't look like a girl.

Sarah doesn't remember when she told Davey. She doesn't know if he had known, figured it out, what. He just hugged her, pulling away and smiling. Telling her she was the best twin sister in the world.

Les caught on fast, referring to Sarah as his big sister. Esther and Mayer didn't understand, but went along. Seeing Sarah this happy was... New.

Sarah was seventeen when David joined the newsboys. Seventeen when he brought some guy to their home- He stared. Jack Kelly, he called himself. He must have noticed how everyone flinched when he referred to Sarah as David's brother, quickly backtracking.

Before Sarah knew it, David was coming home with things from the newsboys- to... Her? Shiny hairclips, jewelry, hell- Apparently a newsie named buttons even offered to make her a subtle dress that could be passed off as a coat.

Sarah couldn't help but smile.

What part does Sarah have in the wallflower AU?

Sarah is close friends with the group! She and Davey are almost always together because I headcanon that they’re twins. But they do tease each other a LOT cause, y’know, siblings. Her and Katherine are also close friends.

She works at a flowershop and has everyone’s favourite flower memorised, she sometimes brings them to people if they’re sad or feeling down.

I’m personally not a huge fan of Jack and Sarah’s relationship in the film as to me it felt rushed a little forced? (Absolutely no shade if anyone who follows me ships it though <3)

My friend and I jokingly shipped her with one of the Brooklyn Girls from UKsies who’s named Pips and now that’s sort of developed into something we’re both quite attached to 😅 (Happy Pride Month Y’all🏳️‍🌈). They’re cute :))

It seems to be a common thing for my friend and I to joke about a ship and then get attached. Several of these ships have made it into the Wallflower AU.

Edit: I also Headcanon she’s transfem cause God knows we need more transfem rep

hai guys !!! today I decided that I wanted to play Dress to Impress on a free play server (no runway, no voting, just dressing up) so that I can get used to all the options, and what items layer well, and everything like that.

and I ended up dressing up as Newsies characters! Here's the fits I ended up with (they're as close to accurate as I could get)

I tried my best to make the outfits as accurate as possible without VIP (which has other items that I think could've made these fits better)

Anyway, if you want me to try to dress up as any other Newsies characters - Livesies OR 92sies - please let me know, and I'll try my best to do them justice lol
