Synopsis

After the decline of the once robust fields of science and technology, a new energy source known as magic fuels the modern era. Humanity creates forbidden biological weapons: Gears. Those Gears eventually stand against humanity in a rebellion. Although they manage to overcome in the struggle for survival known as the Crusades, humanity's losses are so great that even after several decades pass, their emotional wounds remain unable to fully heal. Sin Kiske, the child of a human and a Gear, heads to his father Ky and mother Dizzy's wedding ceremony. Their wedding breaks the ultimate taboo: a union between a human and a Gear. Chibi-style Girls Return in BanG Dream! Girls Band Party!☆Pico Fever! on October 7

    Along with a main visual featuring its chibi-style characters, the official website for the BanG Dream! Girls Band Party!☆Pico anime series has posted a new PV to announce its third season Fever!'s premiere date of October 7, 2021. 

        The first season of the spin-off comedy series, produced by Sanzigen (BanG Dream! 2nd/3rd Season, ARGONAVIS from BanG Dream!) and DMM.futureworks, was aired for 26 episodes from July to December 2018, then the second season OHMORI (Ohmori means extra large in Japanese) followed with another 26 episodes from July to December 2020.

  The highly-anticipated third season Fever! will be streamed in the YouTube program "Bang Dream! TV LIVE 2021" every Thursday from October 7, 2021, then will start airing on TOKYO MX on October 11 and on AT-X on October 14.

  Its story is set in the live house "CiRCLE," a hidden sacred place for the band girls. The members of Poppin'Party, Afterglow, Pastel*Palettes, Roselia, Hello, Happy World!, RAISE A SUILEN, and Morfonica face various crises there,  and sometimes they don't. The title of its first episode is "Girls Band Sengoku Jidai (Warring States Period)." The franchise's official Twitter introduces its story as below:

  The opening animation has been published for D_CIDE TRAUMEREI THE ANIMATION, an upcoming TV anime that is part of the mixed media project by Sumzap, Inc., Drecom Co. Ltd., and bushiroad that tells a Cthulhu Mythos-inspired story of super-powered teenagers challenging monstrous entities and cultists that threaten to warp reality.

  The story takes place in Shibuya. Ryuhei had always looked up to his older brother as a child. Even after witnessing his mysterious death, Ryuhei grows up to be a cheerful high school student.     At the presentation for its BanG Dream! mixed media franchise held at Tokyo Dome City Hall on December 12, Bushiroad announced that the second season of the spin-off mini-anime series BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! ☆ PICO is now in the works. The second season's title is BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! ☆ Pico -Ohmori (Large Serving)-, and further details including its broadcast schedule will be announced at a later date.

  The first season of the spin-off comedy series featuring deformed chibi characters was produced by Sanzigen and DMM.futureworks, and was aired for 26 episodes from July to December 2018.

    Meanwhile, the main TV anime series' third season titled BanG Dream! 3rd Season is set to premiere in Japan on January 23, 2020. As with the 13-episode second season in January-March 2019, Sanjigen works on anime production instead of the first season's ISSEN and XEBEC.

  An advance screening event for the third season's first four episodes is scheduled to be held in 18 theaters across Japan on January 5, 2020. All of the theatergoers will receive an A4-size clear poster featuring the third season's key visual.
