#Sanji cries because his brother defended him

Every time I remember this scene, I suffer and think. Reiju doesn't react, doesn't laugh at Pudding's mockery, so I say, what if they were Sanji's brothers instead?
I have several options.
The first, only Niji and Yonji laugh. Especially Niji.Second, only Niji laughs.Third, no one laughs.
I personally think that 24ji is the type of person who picks on Sanji and makes fun of him, but if someone else does it, it bothers them. Something like "don't call my idiot an idiot."
Ichiji is too deadpan and I don't remember him ever laughing in WCI. Of all the brothers, Ichiji is the one who shows the most concern for Sanji in his own way, so no, he wouldn't make fun of Sanji with Pudding, he is serious all the time.
Niji, on his side, would fight with Pudding, tell her that only he can call Sanji out for the failure that he is. You know, jealous and tsundere attitude.
And Yonji, according to the interactions he had with Sanji or in general when his family doesn't see him, acts differently with his older brother. When he showed him the clones he probably just wanted a family activity between brothers (it went wrong). I dare say that Yonji somehow misses Sanji, so Yonji would make a big fuss telling Pudding: "It doesn't matter if you're pretty, don't call my brother that way."
#I think I'll write a fanfic about this#I can't see it any other way#I also think Niji would be very angry#Ichiji would not like Sanji to be treated like this at all#It doesn't matter what he did to Sanji#I know that Ichiji loved his little brother#There's no one watching#So Yonji has no problem defending his older brother#Sanji cries because his brother defended him#Not for Pudding and his mockery#vinsmoke brothers#sanji vinsmoke#vinsmoke ichiji#vinsmoke niji#vinsmoke yonji#vinsmoke reiju#germa66#pudding charlotte

Thank you so much ;o;
mmmmMMMM I LOVE THIS. Good taste. SAY LESS >:3
(Also I went a little wild with this one, and got really chaotic LOL)
GIF by kin-sama
Sanji:
-Sanji would probably struggle a bit with his internal emotions
-I hate to say this, but gender and sex (as in gender assigned at birth) does change things a bit for him, at least at first
-Eventually he does some thinking and realizes that he’s a dolt and he would love you no matter what, he just loves YOU
-We stan a self aware king
-Now that he’s gotten over that, his focus is on planning a perfect confession
-Like roses, candles, a nice meal, it's a whole event
-The other Strawhats try to help make this perfect for Sanji
-Except for Luffy, who didn’t get it, and Zoro, who couldn’t care less LOL
-Luffy must be kept away from the nice food
-He will eat it and he will feel no remorse
-NOW ONTO THE ACTUAL DAY OF THE EVENT
-Sanji is dying inside
-He is terrified but very excited
-He sets everything together, Usopp helps keep Luffy distracted, Nami and Robin hang around just in case
-Zoro is in the Crow’s Nest sleeping, completely unbothered. Literally could not care less
-Now, Sanji goes to find you, it’s going well
-He’s being smooth like butter (like criminal undercover IM SORRY I HAD TO-)
-Spending some quality time together, maybe taking a little longer than he intended to
-You two were having fun talking!
-He leads you into the beautifully decorated galley (aka ship kitchen/eating area)
-Aaaaand the food is gone.
-Nothing left.
-Sanji.exe has stopped working.
-”WHAT HAPPENED ;O;”
Sanji ^
-It was Luffy. He got bored faster than usual and ended up eating the food.
-You couldn’t help but laugh, he tried so hard.
-Give him a hug and tell him it’s okay
-He breaks down and ends up rambling about how he wanted this to be perfect because he wanted to show you that despite his biases he wants to be the best man he can for you and how he loves you so much and-
-He freezes.
-THIS WAS NOT HOW THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO GO.
-You kiss his cheek and tell him that it’s okay, you love him too.
-He cries a little Im not gonna lie.
-You and Sanji are a power couple.
-Things Sanji likes about you? Everything.
-He can’t simply name one thing because he fell in love with you as a whole, not just because of one trait
-Despite his misgivings, he is very devoted and very sweet
-If someone misgenders you (and youre okay with it, of course!) he will gently correct them once or twice
-More than twice, he tends to get annoyed and think it’s intentional
Sabo under the cut!
GIF by legitimateluffy
Sabo:
-Sabo, my beloved.
-He tends to notice people who stick out from a crowd
-Someone who dresses unique, someone who stands out because they’re so outgoing, or the opposite, someone who sticks out because they’re so quiet
-This doesn’t mean he won’t notice you, just that those are the people his eyes tend to drift to!
-I mean look at his brother. Ace walks around shirtless with a cowboy hat and shorts, with his really dorky ASCE tattoo.
-Listen I LOVE Ace but I can’t take his tattoo seriously
-Personality wise, he loves when people who have strong beliefs and adamantly defend them
-His name isnt Sabo the Revolutionary for no reason
-He doesnt mind if you’re loud or quiet, he can appreciate and love both
-You being nonbinary is interesting to him!
-He knows that there are people who come from all walks of life, so he really enjoys getting to know you!
-If someone misgenders you by accident, he will either rely on you to handle it or he will gently correct them himself. It depends on what you are OK with.
-He can be very protective though, he worries about you a lot
-Sabo is traumatized so he definitely can be a worrier
-To put it lightly
-He is vastly different from Sanji, so he comes to the realization that he loves you a LOT faster
-Less soul searching more simping
-He takes you to a very pretty place, sets out like a small picnic or something
-Something meaningful yet quick, since he tends to be busy and may need to leave right away
-But he still wants it to be meaningful and memorable
-When you accept, he just goes ._. for a minute
-He didn’t expect you to actually reciprocate
-What was he expecting?
-He didn’t think that far ahead!
-He loves you so so much and is so happy that he can be with you
I wasn't planning on posting something else today, but I absolutely HAD to do this, it's so cute and fun. I hope you enjoy!! Ask Box: Open! ~Cricket <3

I'm super happy to write this. Format is a little different than usual because it’s all three and their pasts would be connected. It’s also pretty long so the rest is below the cut.
➤These four kids caused so much trouble for Dadan, like this poor bandit just wanted a peaceful mountain life and instead she got four mountain monsters.
➤Luffy gives her a lot of grief because she’s a year younger than him and he was the youngest.
➤Sabo and Ace baby her so much compared to Luffy-who they let a crocodile eat at one point.
➤Despite the fact she’s been raised alongside them and therefor can defend herself, all three brothers are SO protective. They even made a secret vow to never let her marry someone they don’t approve of.
➤When Garp shows up he’s so confused?? He left two and now there’s two more? Are they dividing themselves or just attracting other orphans? Now he has four times as much work to make them all into marines. Unlike the three brothers-he does not hold back on her after hearing she wants to be a pirate as well.
➤In order of protectiveness, Ace is the most protective, Sabo’s in the middle, and Luffy is the least protective because he’s always sneaking off with her to go do dangerous things. She’s just as reckless as him and the two should not be left alone together they will destroy everything and themselves.
Luffy & Strawhats:
➤Their meeting is different because it’s after the two year skip and while he’s so happy to see her he feels so guilty when he sees her too because Ace is gone.
➤Despite how goofy Luffy is the two probably cry and hug for a long time and have a serious chat about Ace and the fact hat he was smiling when it happened so there’s no need to feel guilty-after all, pirates rarely get happy endings and look at how cool Ace was all the way to the end, right?
➤He doesn’t introduce her to the crew right away because the two are caught up in reminiscing about Ace as well as just catching up with each other, in fact the whole strawhat crew goes wild because their captain just never returned to the inn and as crazy as Luffy is he almost always comes back to wherever the group is staying.
➤Of course he’ll ask his sister to join his crew, and of course she’ll have to refuse because she’s a pirate or an informant or something crazy because everybody in this family is insane.
➤When he does introduce her to the crew they all have different reactions, though at first everybody’s shocked because he’s never menttioned having a sister?!?
➤Zoro is pretty indifferent about her, but he’s still surprised by how polite she is compared to Luffy-though after a few days he sees the resemblance because both of them are stupidly reckless.
➤Sanji treats her like a princess as expected and he also yells at Luffy for never telling him he had a sister.
➤Nami and Robin treat her like a younger sister, letting her stay with them while she visits and even taking her out to just do things with them. The two are like the older sisters she’s never had but it’s also strange because they kind of remind her of Ace and Sabo in a sense.
➤Brook is brook and of course, has to ask if he can see her panties which earns him more knocks on the head than usual-Sanji, Nami, Luffy & Sister.
➤She loves chopper. SO MUCH. He’s so cute and she even tries to steal him from the crew.
➤Franky is extremely friendly but she’s a little weirded out by him-even more so because he’s not really wearing pants. That being said she’s impressed with the fact that he built the ship and Franky’s more than happy to eat up all the praise at his handy work.
Ace & Whitebeard pirates:
➤The second he spots his sister he jumps off the boat and is propelling himself her way with his flames. The crew is completely baffled by the sudden display but they’ll have to wait to question it until they reach the island.
➤He crashes straight into her and the two destroy a house in the process, which they then spend the latter of the day rebuilding. On the bright side as they rebuild it they get to catch up with each other.
➤He’s so happy to see her and hear about how she’s been doing. He’ll ask her about all her adventures and answer any questions she has but then he’ll get serious and ask if she’s seeing anybody. CAN’T HAVE THAT. HE’S TOO PROTECTIVE AND NOT READY TO LET GO OF HIS LITTLE SISTER.
➤When the crew arrives they’re rightfully confused by Ace and the young woman he’s with. Like, he jumped off the ship for her so it’s clear to them she’s important.
➤Whitebeard is the first to figure it out-as Ace talks about his family a lot-and the first thing he says is probably something along the lines of “Ace if you want to protect your sister you shouldn’t fly yourself at her from however many miles away from her they were.”
➤The rest of the crew is just like :OOOOO
➤It’s pretty obvious how protective Ace is of her, and the guys are more than happy to use that to mess with their favorite hot headed commander. Poor girl is getting more attention than she knows what to do with.
➤”Marco don’t you even look at her you pervert.” “Oh, too late we’ve got a date tomorrow night” “I’LL KILL YOU” “How are you going to do that, #2 commander?”
➤Sister catches onto this and happily joins in on the fun, though eventually it dies down and she just continues catching up with Ace. She’s so happy he found a father figure and that he’s so happy with the crew. The two part but not before Ace can give her his vivire card.
➤She’s so happy because now she can find him whenever she wants to visit him.
Sabo & Revolutionaries:
➤He forgot her along with Ace and Luffy and once he calms down and wakes up he’s just a crying mess. Regardless of his injuries back then..how could he have forgotten his family..?
➤When the two do reunite he’s a crying mess for so long. He’s just got his sister locked into a hug while he cries and apologizes for forgetting her-which she doesn’t even hear at first because she’s crying too because SHE THOUGHT HE WAS DEAD?!
➤Once the two calm down-and they eventually do after a few hours, yeah, hours-Sabo explains everything that happened and why he didn’t find them immediately. Since he’s apologizing every other sentence it takes him a while to finish explaining it and by the time they’ve gone over everything a few of the revolutionaries have found their way to them.
➤They can all pretty much guess who the girl is, and Koala is the first to react. She’s so happy for Sabo so she jumps at his sister and hugs her and introduces herself. Almost immediately the sister is making fun of Sabo and Koala, teasing them and asking if they’re together.
➤She’ll stay with them for a few days not really caring if anybody sees her with such well known people-shes a pirate or something herself anyways so it’s not like it makes too much of a difference.
➤A lot of the revolutionaries are caught off guard by Sabo’s sudden protective nature. Like, they’ve never seen such a brotherly side to him before and it’s just so strange. Hack particularly has a hard time with it because he’s seen Sabo do some real damage to enemies and here he is acting like an innocent older brother? That being said, he does like Sabo’s younger sister-even more so when she gets impressed by his fishman karate.
➤After the two go their separate ways Sabo probably calls Dragon all happily-realy he’s supposed to be asking about his next assignment but instead he’s rambling on about his little sister and how happy he is.

Biggest Coal Getters At Christmas In One Piece
As you know from this blog, I rag on the most hated characters in One Piece. At at this merry Christmas time, I want to show you all the biggest coal getters in this series.
12. Stelly
With being such an arrogant, self-important, entitled, and asshole brat, Sabo’s adoptive brother, Stelly, makes the first on the list on our naughty list. One has to feel sorry for the Gao kingdom for being ruled over such a spoiled king, who even thinks he can order Garp around because he’s originally from there.
11. Wapol
Another king on this list, but one who also is the president of his own toy company is Wapol. Like Stelly he was quite a horrible ruler when he was ruling Drum Kingdom, especially when he left the island to fend for itself when Blackbeard invaded and horded all the doctors so he could force people to pay high prices for them. Though he is currently living high now with his new kingdom gifted by the World Nobles, Santa still is going to leave a nice lump that fits his dark heart.
10. Judge
Just like with the earlier two entries, we have another asshole ruler and this one is the father of Strawhat member, Sanji. The ruler of the Germa 66, a seafaring kingdom that is notorious for conquering islands and being paid assassins, he is a social darwanist, who caused great abuse to Sanji throughout his childhood because he turned out normal. The only reason why he wanted Sanji back into his life was to cement an alliance with Big Mom by offering him as a groom for her daughter, Pudding, which turned out to be a trap because the Yonko planned to kill him and the other Vinsmokes off to get their technology. And at the wedding when the Big Mom Pirates’ true colors are showed, all that previous super macho bravado is melted away to reveal a sniveling coward who cries when someone puts him into the situation that he put others under. And for that the Germa clones will shoveling a lot of coal for a while.
9. Spandam
This guy is the poster child on why we should have anti-neoptism laws. A snively cowardly shit Spandam when he was head of the CP9 tortured Robin all the while she was under his captivity, while arrogantly believing his CP agents were untouchable. He also has little regard for human life when he accidentally triggered the buster call and didn’t care that his subordinates could die. He even called them needed sacrifices. He was also the reason why Tom, Iceburg and Franky’s mentor, was killed due to a frame up job he did in order to obtain the Pluton from him. It’s a bit karmic seeing him be forced to take orders from his former subordinate, Lucci, but even then the clumsy klutz should trip on his black pile of gifts he will get.
8. Hody Jones
Think Arlong, but with none of his few redeeming qualities. Although Hody can be said to be a product of his environment, he’s still a nasty racist shit, who should rot in the jail cell he was put in at the end of his starring arc. With his New Fishman Pirates, they planned on taking over the kingdom and go to Reverie where they planned to massarce everyone there. However, the worst thing he’s done is assassinate Queen Otohime, because she dared to try to aim to bring peace between humans and seafolk. If you think there can be a reason for his racism, then he would answer it himself: “nothing”. Nothing happened to him to make him hate humans personally he just grew up with the toxic belief that hating humans was justified. And for that Hody spends Christmas in a jail cell, while sharing it with the number of coals that can keep him and the other withered New Fishman Pirates company.
7. Mother Carmel
To the world (and to this day, Big Mom), Mother Carmel was a saintly figure who fostered peace between humans and giants plus opened up an orphanage for children of all races. However, underneath that facade lied a wicked slaver, who pretended to be a grandmotherly figure in order to sell children to the highest dollar. Her famed action of stopping the Elbaf crew from being executed was a staged event in order to gain the trust of the giants. Her most notable so-called prized asset was Charlotte Linlin (who would later become Big Mom), who to this day doesn’t know her foster mother never truly loved her and saw her as merchandise to be sold. Even though she’s a deceased character, she certainly deserves to have her stockings filled to the brim with stone, cold coal.
6. Blackbeard
Although he’s more of a love to hate example, we all know that Blackbeard deserves to be on this list. For one thing, if you want to know why the post-timeskip is chaotic as it is it’s thanks to this guy. He for years pretended to be a loyal member of Whitebeard’s crew and acted like one of the family knit setting. However, it’s all an at to get at the Yami Yami No Mi/Dark Dark Fruit. He killed one of his own brothers/crewmates, then went off to form his own crew where he fought Ace and got him handed over to the Marines, so that he could become a Warlord and get into Impel Down. There during the breakout he recruited level six members to his crew, then used them to kill his former captain and father figure Blackbeard. And postimeskip he has been shown to now be hunting down devil fruit users for his fellow crew. There is a reason why people say he’s the anti-Luffy and what a real non-romanticized pirate is like. So, I have a feeling Santa will be stopping by on Hive Island with some hefty packages that could fit his namesake.
5. Ceasar Clown
Although he’s shown as a butt monkey after his first appearance, the record of his misdeeds cannot be forgotten. On his island he kept children captive after a mole in the marines lied to their parents about them dying at sea, which he then proceeded to experiment on them with drugged candy which made them grow giant sized and shorten their live spans. All the while pretending he was actually curing them when he couldn’t give a shit. He also is notorious for making chemical weapons of mass destruction which is used by amoral individuals like the Beast Pirates. In other words, Santa strap this asshole to a big lump of coal and drown him.
4. Doflamingo
One of the most popular villians in the series is Donquixote Doflamingo, former Warlord, top broker, and King Of Dressrosa. Man, you could have a long list of all the shit he’s pulled throughout his career and life. On the outside he might look like a gaudy Elton John rip off, but on the inside bleeds one of the scariest and ruthless characters in the series. No wonder because he was born of the World Nobles, who are a sociopathic and psychotic bunch. From his take over to Dressrosa to funding Ceasar Clown’s research, he certainly can make you scared of the color pink. And that is why we have to heep this birds feathers with a black sheen.
3. Orochi
While Doffy is pretty to look at and is flamboyantly fun, Orochi just embodies “hate sink” stereotypes. He’s just made to be obvious that this guy is not going to be a good person. Spoilers ahead: I know he was influenced into becoming an asshole but he is still an asshole who sold out his country for his own benefit. Not to mention currently it was shown he was heavily implied to be the one who killed Suriyaki and lied to everyone about being named a successor with the help of that strange woman. His 20 years of terror have caused nothing but hurt to everyone under his rule as he causes a famine due to the occupying forces of the Beast Pirates. All of his because he believed he was entitled like his grandfather to be Shogun. He also wastes food, as his country is starving and feeds a whole village of hungry people failed “Smiles” so that they can quit crying about their dead loved ones. I know Santa would know of a way to get into this closed off country, so that he can deliver this shistain a coal that is as big as a mountain.
2. Kaido
Here is the man of thousand beasts and leader of the Beast pirates. Even though Blackbeard himself is no saint, he doesn’t seem to want to destroy the world like Kaido does. An unstoppable juggernaut, he sees suicide as a way to kill boredom and is often on his ass drunk. He’s ruled over Wano through Orochi for 2 decades, as he has decimated it into a famine wide place except the capitol where the rich and his toadie lives. He uses the land to function his own war effort and has caused many of the Wano people to go through great periods of grief. Like with Blackbeard, he’s an unromanticed version of what a pirate is really like. So, Kaido be prepared for Onigashima to reign coal like it’s no tomorrow.
1. World Nobles (Celestial Dragons)
By default, you know these shitty bastards would top the list. The biggest reason because of the fact that they are above the law and are allowed to do anything they like because they are so-called “gods”. They treat the general population like crap, while blatantly owning slaves when it was supposed to have been illegalized 2 centuries ago. They are also supported by a thing called heavenly tribute which country of the world government has to give continuously, lest they get kicked out and have no way of defending themselves from pirates or slave traffickers. So I can say the biggest coal getters go to these fat pigs in their towers. Better yet they should coal statues made in (dis)honor of them.

“His behavior is unacceptable.”
Talia reveals to Bane the mischief their son has perpetrated, in this next installment of my fic THE DEMON’S LEGACY.
(This story is also available at Ao3 and FanFiction.net.)
Chapter 5
“Oh, Jesus!” Barsad cried out.
With satisfaction, Sanjana watched his naked form collapse backward where he sat on the edge of the bed. She swallowed what he had left behind in her mouth, then used the mattress to help her rise from her knees. While Barsad lay panting, eyes closed, she rinsed her mouth with a drink of water from a glass on the nightstand, then lay with her head on his chest.
Sanjana studied his handsome, scruffy face with its high forehead, heavy-lidded eyes and long, straight nose. His thin lips, shaped like an archer’s bow, parted slightly to help him catch his breath after her oral ministrations. Pleased with her ability to gratify her lover, she could not help but smile at the satisfaction on his face. As if reading her thoughts, Barsad opened one eye. Her smile broadened into a small giggle, and she trailed her finger over his moist lips.
“Proud of yourself, are you?” he teased.
“I just enjoy seeing you happy. And back in our bed.”
“Mmmm,” he sighed. “There’s no place I’d rather be.”
Barsad shifted to a more comfortable position on the bed, Sanjana’s pregnant belly tight against him. He kissed her and reached for a pillow upon which to rest their heads, then he put his arms around her, kissed her again.
“You and your magic tongue,” he murmured.
Sanjana scoffed lightly. “You are easy to please, my love, especially after you’ve been gone so long.”
He closed his eyes and rested, languidly stroking her hair. “Has the baby settled down?”
“Yes. The kicks have stopped.”
“Good.”
“He is strong, like his father.” Sanjana’s hand glided along Barsad’s powerful forearm.
“He? Did you find something out while I was gone? I thought you didn’t want to know the baby’s sex.”
“No, I didn’t find anything out, but more and more I feel that it is a boy. He is already troublesome, like his father.”
“But you want a girl.”
“I want a healthy child.”
“Yeah, yeah. We both do, but you can say what you want, Sanji, I know you want a girl.”
“And you want a boy, though you won’t admit it. I see you with Henri. You want a boy of your own. You don’t want Bane one-upping you.” She grinned.
“Well…he has been strutting around like the cock of the walk since Henri was born, and, yeah, you might say there’s a little male ego involved in this, but really,” he kissed her, “I’ll be happy with whatever eventually pops out of this big belly of yours.” Barsad affectionately rubbed her naked baby bump, her skin as tight as a ripe tomato, her belly button inverted.
“It would be nice for Henri to have a little boy to play with,” Sanjana said, “someone other than the El Fadil children. Henri doesn’t really get along with them. I feel so bad for him. My brothers used to play all day outside with their friends, growing up. They were never a prisoner like little Henri. I think that is why he gives his mother so much trouble.” She frowned. “I hope our child won’t be so willful. I don’t know if I could handle him, especially with you gone so much.”
Barsad ignored her veiled point. He rested his cheek against her forehead. “Henri’s the way he is because of who his parents are—have you ever known two more willful people? We’re more laidback, you and me. Our kid will be a walk in the park compared to Henri. You’ll see.”
Sanjana sighed. “One long month to go.”
Barsad reared his head to grin at her. “You know, they say vigorous sex can trigger labor.”
She gave his nipple a playful tweak. “That is a wives’ tale, and you know it. You aren’t fooling me, John Barsad. Besides, you said you were too tired.”
“I just said that so you’d give me a blow job.”
She smacked his chest and feigned an angry look. “Just for that, you will get nothing more tonight.”
Barsad chuckled. “You can’t resist me, and you know it.”
Sanjana gave a soft snort of dismissiveness and draped one long, brown leg across his.
“Speaking of resistance,” Barsad said with a strange hint of wistfulness, “how long do you think Abrams will take before he finally gives in to Maysam’s charms?”
Sanjana hid her frown and remained silent for a moment. Though unsure why, she never liked it when Barsad spoke of Maysam in such flattering ways. She told herself she was being foolish over such a thing and that she would surely be jealous of any woman Barsad spoke of so fondly. Maybe it only bothered her because of her own uneasy relationship with Maysam. Yet ever since the day Sanjana had met Barsad in Maysam’s salon, she easily saw the warm rapport between him and her employer. On that first day, it meant nothing to Sanjana, but once her interest in Barsad began to blossom, she sometimes wondered about the two because of how close they seemed, something that went beyond old friends or old colleagues. On occasion, their body language and the way they spoke seemed almost flirtatious. Each time, Sanjana told herself she was imagining things, especially considering the age difference, Maysam’s religion and family. Yet, there was a significant age gap between herself and Barsad, and that had no bearing on their relationship.
“Well?” Barsad interrupted her thoughts, tipping her chin up. “How long do you think it’ll take Abrams? Bane, Yemi, and I have a pool going. Want in?”
Sanjana rested her chin on his chest and pinned a displeased look on him. “I hope you three aren’t teasing that poor man.”
“Nah. Well…Bane and Yemi don’t.”
“John, leave Abrams alone.”
Barsad laughed. “You’re only defending him because he can be as uncomfortable at Maysam’s table as you are.”
“I wouldn’t have had any need to be uncomfortable if we had stayed here and had dinner, just the two of us.”
“Wouldn’t want to insult your boss, my dear.”
“She wouldn’t have cared if I wasn’t there.”
“That’s not true.”
“I think it is.”
“Sanji.” Barsad raised himself on his elbows. “You’re being unfair to Maysam.”
Sanjana sat up, feeling chilled. “Maysam? What about me?”
“What are you talking about?”
“I think you’re being unfair to me. You’re more concerned with hurting Maysam’s feelings than with hurting mine.”
“Baby, don’t be silly.” He sat up, rubbed her arm where gooseflesh had appeared. “It would be disrespectful if we hadn’t gone.”
“If you hadn’t gone. I could have stayed here; she would have been relieved.”
“What? No.”
Barsad put his arm around her shoulders. At first, she resisted his attempt to pull her close, but then she allowed him to embrace her, for she wanted his comfort. She could not, however, lift her gaze to him, both ashamed and injured.
“Remember,” he gently scolded, “we’re guests here. This is Maysam’s home. We have to show respect, if for no other reason than her hospitality. Besides, if we hadn’t gone, Bane would’ve given us shit. He does believe in propriety, you know…and appreciation. Maysam is risking a lot by having me, him, and Talia living here.”
“Then perhaps we should move elsewhere.”
“Baby, you know my job is with Bane.”
“Then he and Talia could move with us.”
“They aren’t going to take Henri away from Maysam.”
In utter frustration, Sanjana said, “Then let him stay and the rest of us go.”
Barsad held her at arm’s length, studied her. “You know that’ll never happen, and it shouldn’t. Sanji, what’s going on?”
She struggled to articulate her feelings. “I feel so…insignificant here.”
He caressed her cheek with the back of his hand. “Nothing’s farther from the truth. You’re the most important thing in my life. I hope I haven’t made you feel insignificant.”
“No, it’s not you.”
“Then what? Has Maysam said something to you?”
“She doesn’t need to say anything. I feel it. She doesn’t think I’m good enough for you. And why would she? You won’t ask me to marry you, after all. I’m just your concubine.”
Barsad scowled. “That’s not fair, Sanjana. You know why we aren’t married.”
“Yes, the League. But sometimes I wonder, if you weren’t in the League, would you still ask me?”
“Marriage isn’t important to me. I really don’t believe in it. But that doesn’t mean I don’t love you and want to be with you.”
“But it is important to me. I can’t take my child to see his or her grandparents and tell them I am unwed.”
“Then tell them you are.”
Sanjana fell silent, stared at her restless fingers in her lap. She sighed. “What does it matter? They can never meet you anyway, not when the world knows your face and you are wanted by the authorities because of Gotham. So what good would it do me to tell them I am married when they can never meet my husband? They will think I’m just making you up so they accept my child.”
Barsad turned her to face him and spoke gently. “Sanji, I know this is difficult for you. I’m sorry. I never should have allowed us to fall in love. And now, a baby to complicate matters even more. There are things I can’t give you—a normal life being one of them. Maybe, someday.”
“Can’t you leave the League? If not for my sake, then for the sake of our child?”
“Not as long as Bane needs me. And, Sanji,” his blue gaze darkened like a stormy sea, “Bane told me you spoke to him about this.”
“I’m sorry, John. But I was desperate.”
He cupped her cheek with his warm palm. “This is our problem, not his. Don’t put him in the middle.”
“But he understood me. I think he agrees with me. I think he would release you if you just asked.”
“Of course he would because he cares for you, but I won’t ask, and Talia won’t let him release me either. She and I both know Bane needs me. No one else can reason with him the way I can. I keep him from being too rash in the field, and that keeps him alive. Talia appreciates that, even more now that they have Henri. She knows how focused Bane can be during an operation; he tends to wear blinkers sometimes, and that’s not always good. So, as long as he’s in the field, I have to be, too. You know that. That’s not going to change, no matter how many times you and I discuss this.”
Sanjana had not realized how close she was to tears until one spilled down her cheek.
“Damn it, Sanji,” he murmured, “don’t cry. C’mere.” He drew her back into his arms, kissed her ear. “Think about the baby. Soon you’ll have a little one to take your mind off all this. You’re just stressed right now because of the pregnancy.” He took her face in his hands and kissed her lips. “Don’t ever think you’re insignificant. I love you, and we’re gonna get through this together, okay?”
Sanjana succumbed to his striking blue eyes, to their sultriness and warmth. She told herself she was indeed being unfair to him with her demands. After all, considering the rapes, no one would ever care for her the way she knew Barsad did. He had avenged her, rescued her, loved her. What more could she desire?
“We’re both tired,” he said. “C’mon.” He returned the pillow to its place at the head of the bed, then pulled back the sheet and light blanket. “Let’s get some sleep.”
They crawled between the sheets and turned off the bedside lamp. Barsad drew her to him, kissed her forehead and wiped away the last of her tears.
“Sanji,” he whispered. “Not being married doesn’t mean I’m looking for an easy out if things become rocky, if that’s what you’re afraid of. The fact that I’m with you, that I’m having a child with you, after preferring to be alone all my life, should tell you what you mean to me. Do you understand?”
She closed her eyes, tried to accept things, to believe him. “Yes. Maybe you’re right—once the baby arrives, I’ll be able to look at things differently. I think things just build and build inside me when you are away.” Sanjana held him tight. “I’m so glad you’re going to be here for a while.”
Barsad kissed her, and she could sense his smile through the darkness. “There’s no place I’d rather be, darlin’.”
Bane watched Talia finish the last swallow of her Bordeaux blend, a bold-flavored wine grown at the League’s own vineyard in France. Of course the world had no idea that Chateau Blanc was owned by the League, but connoisseurs the world over were familiar with its vintages.
Talia, now lounging in a black lace chemise, licked the last vestiges of wine from her lips, seemingly lost in its taste. She loved her reds, the bolder the better. Ever since her schooling at Le Rosey in Switzerland, she had preferred anything French in various aspects of her life, including her wines, food, and the language, the latter so much so that its flavor touched every other language she spoke.
Bane set aside his now-empty glass—tonight his wine choice had been a cabernet franc, for he preferred cooler climate wines, something medium-bodied. League rubrics forbade alcohol use except for moderate wine consumption with meals, but since Talia was no longer an official member of the League, she often drank a glass in the evenings and insisted Bane join her, especially when he had just returned from an arduous mission.
“You deserve it,” she would always say. “And not just because of your mission but because of all those years wearing the mask, when simply drinking a glass of wine was a trial. You missed out on so many of life’s simple pleasures.”
Initially Bane had dismissed her excuses for him to drink, but her persistence led to the periodic glass. Sometimes he teased her that she had really left the League so she had free rein to enjoy the League’s wines. Indeed Talia had a strong influence on all aspects of Chateau Blanc. Now and then she wistfully spoke of one day retiring there, in the Pyrenees region of France. She loved the mountains, for their towering, snow-draped slopes reminded her and Bane of their early home with the League of Shadows, the training base high amongst the Himalayas.
Bane stood from the sofa and stretched before heading to the small bathroom located to one side of their bed. After using the toilet, he emerged to return to Talia but suddenly halted beside the bed. It struck him that something was missing, something significant.
“Where is your mother’s blanket?” he asked.
Talia quickly looked over her shoulder to where he stood. “Oh, habibi.” Sorrow darkened her eyes, and she hurriedly set aside her glass and came to him.
“Where is it?” he repeated.
Once a gift from Henri Ducard to his wife, the blanket was a treasure not only to Bane and Talia but to Maysam as well. The dark, hand-woven blanket, with its muted variety of colors and floral patterns, had accompanied Melisande into prison and provided comfort to all of them over the years, both physically and emotionally. Once Bane and Talia had been rescued from the pit and taken to their mountain home, Henri Ducard had grudgingly allowed Bane to keep the blanket in his room at Talia’s insistence. But, when Bane was excommunicated from the League for insubordination and the murder of the League’s second-in-command, Ducard had reclaimed the blanket. After his death, Talia returned the blanket to Bane. Bane was a man of no possessions except one: Melisande’s blanket. It was precious beyond measure, for he had loved Melisande with all his heart and mourned her to this day.
“Habibi,” Talia said again, reaching for his hands. “I’ve been trying to think of a way to tell you.”
“Tell me what?” An edge of anger crept into his voice, not only because of Talia concealing something from him but because of his anxiety over the blanket’s disappearance. “Where is it?”
She frowned as if in defeat and let go of him. Bowing her head, she went around the bed to a large dresser. Bane followed, stood behind her as she opened the bottom drawer and removed the blanket, which had been precisely folded.
“Why did you put it away? It should remain on our bed always.”
Talia unfolded the blanket, her expression pinched, and spread it out on the bed. It was not large—it took up only a third of their bed. Bane stared in outrage, for one corner of the blanket had been torn some fifteen centimeters, and the fringe along the edges—maroon and cream-colored—had been ripped away near the tear. His hand explored the wound.
“How did this happen?” he demanded.
Talia sank to the bed, her hand caressing her mother’s blanket. “A couple of days ago, Henri was being particularly obstinate about not wanting to take his afternoon nap. He wouldn’t go to his room, and when I carried him there, he kept getting out of bed. For some reason, he had it in his head that you were coming home that day, and he wanted to be awake to greet you. No matter what I said or did, he wouldn’t believe me, and he wouldn’t settle down. He was so angry.”
“Did you fetch Maysam to help?”
“She was away, visiting one of her relatives overnight. But I don’t think Henri would have listened even to her. He just wanted you to be home. I had to literally chase him at one point, and that was when he grabbed the blanket off the bed and dragged it down the hallway.” Her sigh gave a sound to all her troubles and fatigue as she stared at the blanket. “He ran into the bathroom and shut the door, but the blanket got caught along the bottom corner. When he tried to yank it free so the door would shut, the blanket ripped. The fabric is so old now; it didn’t take much to harm it. I’m so sorry, Bane.”
“It was not your fault,” he rumbled.
“I haven’t been able to tell Jiddah either. You know how dreadful I am with a needle and thread, so I thought I’d ask Sanjana to sew the tear so Jiddah won’t notice it, at least not right away.”
“Tell me what punishment you meted out for this outrage.” He sat across the blanket from her, away from the ripped corner.
“Does it matter? Nothing makes any impression on Henri.”
“I certainly hope you tried.”
“Of course. I spanked him; I yelled at him. Worse than I’ve ever done. I think it almost frightened him. And then when he saw the tears in my eyes, he finally settled down and seemed somewhat contrite. At least he let me put him to bed. I don’t think he slept, though, just to spite me. Oh, Bane, sometimes I just don’t know what to do with him. I feel like such a failure.”
The frustration in her voice tempered his own emotions. Those tears from that day appeared ready to return, so he tenderly drew the blanket into his lap and sat close to her, put his arm around her.
“I shall have a long talk with our cub tomorrow. His behavior is unacceptable. I will punish him. We both know that will have more of an effect on him coming from me.”
“But, Bane, he has so little time with you; I’d hate for it to be spent that way.”
“I can see how his continued disobedience is wearing on you. Understandably so. And it has escalated to this.” He lovingly touched the blanket.
Talia’s frown deepened. “What would Mama do if she were here?”
“No doubt her patience would be just as exhausted as yours, my dear. This is my fault for being away so frequently. When I am here, I indulge the boy too much. I fear that has contributed to his obstinacy.”
“Was I that way when I was two?”
Bane offered a consoling smile and kissed her forehead. “You had your moments, little mouse. But the difference is that Henri is spoiled and living in a palace. We had no way to spoil you or provide a palace, and thus you matured before your time and appreciated every small comfort your mother and I could provide you. After she died, your grief caused you to become a bit more unmanageable, but in time that passed, and you only challenged me on occasion.”
Talia absently played with some of the fringe on her mother’s blanket. “How did you ever do it, Bane? Raising me by yourself in that nightmare and keeping my sex hidden all those years?”
“I had the examples set by our mothers to guide me. There were none finer to learn from.”
Talia leaned her head on his bare shoulder. “I wish I could have known your mother.”
“She would have loved you, habibati.”
“And I would have loved her. I wish I could speak to them about raising children. Two years, and I still feel inept.”
“Nonsense. Henri would be a challenge to anyone.” He played with her hair, which was draped over her smooth, inviting shoulder. “He is our child, after all.” Bane gave a small chuckle. “Barsad says we deserve Henri’s personality.”
“Barsad had better watch what he says. It could all come back to haunt him once he has a child of his own. That’s why I want them to have a boy. Then he’ll see.”
“No, my dear. Barsad’s child, I believe, will be much different from Henri, just as Barsad and Sanjana are so very different from us. Their child will be more even-keeled and reserved.”
“Barsad—reserved?” Talia laughed.
Bane grinned. “That trait will come from Sanjana.”
They fell into silence for a long moment, and Bane felt Talia fully relax against him. At first, he thought she had fallen asleep, but then she spoke softly.
“I think of all the things I accomplished when I was with the League. Intricate games, dangerous liaisons, manipulations. But now I can’t even manipulate my own two-year-old son to take a nap.”
“Don’t be so hard on yourself, my love.” Bane’s finger tipped her chin up, so he could see into her tired eyes. “I think what you need is a break from motherhood for a couple of weeks.”
She straightened. “What do you mean?”
“I mean, you should take a vacation away from here, without Henri.”
Her mouth gaped slightly. “I can’t leave Henri.”
“Of course you can. Just for two weeks. Go to Chateau Blanc. I will remain here. Henri needs to know what it feels like to be without his mother. He will appreciate you more when you return, I am sure of it. Consider it his punishment for this crime.” He gestured to the blanket.
“But I…we’ve never been separated.”
“That is part of the problem. He takes you for granted.”
Talia considered his words, staring off into the darker corners of the room. Bane saw her conflicting emotions. There was a spark of excitement in her eyes at the prospect of being someplace relaxing for a while, yet there were lines of anxiety creasing her broad forehead as well.
“You must go, habibati,” he murmured into her hair, then nibbled her ear. “Trust me on this. It will be good for both of you, and for me. I will get a true taste of what you have been experiencing. Perhaps that perspective will help me find a way to improve our cub’s behavior for the times when I am gone.”
“But when could I go? You might need to leave—”
“No, I will not leave while you are gone.”
“But what if Barsad’s baby comes early? I want to be here for the birth.”
“Sanjana is not due for a month still. Besides, you will not be that far away. Our jet could have you back here in no time.”
When Talia started to come up with another reason to stay, Bane put a finger to her lips and smiled at her.
“You need to do this. Trust me.” He narrowed his eyes, teasing, “Do you not think me capable of this perilous assignment?”
She blushed and smiled. “You are capable of any assignment, habibi.”
“Then tell me you will go. Tomorrow. I will make some calls tonight to have our brothers waiting at the chateau for your protection. And Yemi will accompany you.”
Talia absently rubbed her arm as if chilled.
“You may drink wine to your heart’s content and explore the mountains. You are not a desert rose, like your grandmother. Three years in the desert is a long time for you. You are a child of the mountains. It will renew you to visit them.”
“Why don’t we all go, as a family?”
“Good try, little mouse, but no. This will be just for you.”
“I don’t think—”
Again his finger silenced her lips. “Don’t think, just do as I say. And trust me. I have always known what is best for you, have I not?”
“Yes,” she mumbled, sounding like that child of the pit.
“Then it is settled.” Bane tenderly folded the blanket and returned it to the dresser. “I will have your mother’s blanket repaired while you are gone.”
As he turned back to her, his gaze devoured the shape of her breasts and hips beneath the filigree veil of her chemise. The stirring in his loins renewed.
“Now.” He sat beside her, smiled devilishly. “Let us make the most of our last night together.”

Day 1: Character
Hi all! So, instead of posting in order here is number one, proceeding number 2...
Anyways, the prompt was characters so i aim to please! There are obv spoilers for p much everything so please dont spoil for yourself.
Monkey D. Luffy was a mystery inside an enigma. He was unusually idiotic but smart at the same time, in his own way.
He had little regard for the system of so called ‘justice’ or the world, for that matter.
He could lift his middle fingers up and say fuck you but he wouldn’t. No, he would become the king instead.
King of the Pirates and give the world the biggest fuck you he could.
Wherever he went he made friends; it was as natural as breathing, he was just…
There’s just something about Luffy.
Was it his charisma?
Was it the way he would kick anyone’s asses if they screwed with his nakama?
Or was it something written into their DNA, tying them with the free boy.
Makino watched over Luffy first for Garp but then she took a more parental role, allowing him into the bar as much as he wanted, the patrons simply adored him. But Makino saw the sadness in his eyes as he was clearly more lonely than the boy would let on.
Shanks was a pretty chilled guy so when the squirt had demanded he tell them stories of being a pirate he had indulged him. Who’d have thought that he would end up like this? He thinks, watching the blood, the carnage and more importantly, the fire-cracker that was Roger’s son.
Garp loved his grandson despite the fact that his good for nothing son had just given the babe to him without a backward glance. So he watches as he grows and finds himself more attached, he loves Luffy, he loves him more like a son than a grandchild.
Ace loved Luffy more than he loved himself despite the hatred he had for the rest of the world. It is why he couldn’t bear the thought of a world without his light so he moves and watches as his light flickers and floats away, the only regret heavy on his soul is that he will not see his baby brother become Pirate King.
Sabo loved him because he lit up the world and made Ace believe in himself. Years later and their pledge of brotherhood has not diminished. Sabo cries and sobs because ACEACEACEACE. But then he remembers someone else who believe he is alone, beingalonehurtsmorethandeath, and he pulls himself together.
Coby loves Luffy like a brother, it was only because of him that he had the courage to stand up to Alvida and say no. He becomes a marine for Luffy-san and when he sees him at Marineford… despite knowing that Ace is his brother, this is the path they have both chose. Later he tries to stop Akainu and meets the Yonkou himself, it is a befitting finish, he thinks.
Zoro joined him because of a promise and because he saw Luffy. And because of a promised dream, he will become the world’s greatest swordsman. He will make Luffy the King of the Pirates. He now follows the boy, no, man, because of all of the shit they’ve been through together.
Nami joined because of a mutual agreement but now she follows for she was encased within the charisma of the boy. She loves Luffy like a brother and cherishes his love whenever she sees him. He came for her even after everything.
Buggy wants to say he hates the bastard, well, he does. Partially. In Orange Town it was only fair that the bastard beat him, besides, it led to much greater things. Impel Down is hell and he unwittingly drags himself into a whole new mess following the rubber-bastard. And then Marine-ford… he hates it, the momentary grief he feels for the late Portgas D. Ace, son of Portgas D. Rouge and Gol D. Roger. So he helps the bastard out a bit whilst fighting World, it’s for a selfish reason but nonetheless he feels satisfaction as flames lick up the rubber man’s arm.
Gaiman watches the self-proclaimed mugiwara no Luffy hide the truth from him and he sobs, sobs that he wasted so much time here for those chests and now it was wasted. But he still loves the animals he is surrounded by. So, in two years time he will read the paper and jump in relief at the sight of the ‘Straw hats are back!’ emblazoned on the front page.
Usopp joined for adventure, he knows now that he never, ever wants to lead their band of merry misfits and he will cry and thank the man who saved him several times over.
Mihawk is impressed by the straw hat wearing boy, the one-armed, red-haired fool didn’t give away his treasure so freely. And then he recalls the rage in the boy’s face as he slashed the young swordsman. Then, at Marineford, fate smiles down on upon the boy and he escapes with his life.
Sanji joined for the ladies, well, that’s a lie and he knows it. He joined for his dream, but didn’t the rest of the fools in their tiny crew join for that as well? He remembers the hopelessness of being stuck on that island as his captain grieved and promises that he will never feel that way again.
Gin creates a new fleet, but, he knows that if Monkey D. Luffy, senchou of the mugiwara no ichimi, ever calls, he will join him.
Hachin watches in barely disguised confusion as he, and all of the other fishmen are defeated. Arlong had always taught him that humans were evil and weak. But then he will remember another before Arlong and cry for the man who is the hero of their country. He will try and defend the Sunny for a crew that is waiting for her.
Smoker ponders over the mystery of Monkey D. Luffy, son of the revolutionary Dragon, more than he probably should. He remembers the town of the beginning and end. But, more vividly the War of the Best replays in his mind and (he will never, ever admit this to anyone ever) felt his heart cry for the boy. But he is a Vice-Admiral and cannot ever endorse pirates so he will defeat Mugiwara no Luffy.
Dragon is proud of his son. He’s only met him once but Dragon watches from outside sources and the papers of what his son is doing to change the world. He might be doing it unintentionally but it is amusing to think about Sengoku’s reaction to his son. He will change the world.
Crocus knows that the crazy son of a bitch can do it, he has Roger’s smile, and the same air of confidence around him. Crocus cries and cries when he sees the news about Soul King, he shows an eager Laboon and the two cry in joy at the thought of one of their friends still being alive (was he really alive though?).
Vivi thinks that the Straw Hats are stupid, at first. She thinks they’re so dumb to be led into a trap like this, but she eats her own words as she watches a boy defeat Crocodile and save her Kingdom. She does not progress with him but watches through newspapers and den den mushi’s. (Her heart breaks at the battle of Marineford but she laughs when she finally figures out the meaning of the tattoo).
Tony Tony Chopper joins because, he isn’t a monster. He’s loves Luffy, his captain. He might be a naïve blue-nosed reindeer but he is Luffy’s doctor first and foremost. And if he has to be a monster to protect his nakama, then he will be a monster.
Crocodile is a shichibukai, he didn’t become one by slacking around. So he hates mugiwara no Luffy in the beginning, for such an awful good luck with Logia akuma no mi and watches as his plans fall to dust. He lost when he was a rookie, why should the overconfident bastard be any different? Although, he saves Portgas D. Ace, why? He doesn’t even know that answer… to piss of the Marines? Probable. Why did he save Monkey D. Luffy? He thinks it’s because the bastard will hurt more if he’s still alive after witnessing that.
Bentham never had many friends, ever. Not even when he was a part of Baroque Works, it was just how it was. No-one liked being friends with a queer. But after the fall of Baroque Works he protects the straw hat wearing boy because he is his friend. He feels like such a coward within Impel Down but… he knows he will have died to save Luffy’s brother.
Mr 3. Is unsure of the prowess of this boy, the powerhouse that took down his boss. He’s surprised when he runs into him again in Impel Down and even more surpised
Nico Robin is used to a life on the run. She joins the boy because he is stronger than a shichibukai, she will be able to use him to her advantage. But after so much, she can’t just let them die. And then… they come and she cries because her life has meaning. So, within their training she cries because her captain is alone.
Bellamy is a proud member of the Donquixote Pirates, he likes that, just mess shit up and you’re guaranteed a spot in Doflamingo’s crew. But the straw hat fool kicks his ass, just like that. And suddenly he is killing his friends, a cause of the flamingo and he cries, because he is given a second chance but is it really worth it? And then he wishes for the rubber fool to kill him, kill me. And he is proven wrong.
Blackbeard likes the kid, he’s got good fire within him, chasing his dream like that. But when he learns that the crazy kiddo is Ace’s lil bro he thinks well damn, one way to kill two birds with one stone. Later, after Marineford, he knows that he’ll have to kill the bastard, finish him off. It’ll be fun to watch him write in agony. He wanted to make him burn with his own brother’s akuma no mi but that idea is shot out as the bastard from the Revolutionaries beats him to the punch.
Montblanc Cricket is a crazy fool chasing a stupid dream. But that boy… he is just as dumb. But even so, when he hears the golden bell ring, he cries because thank you Mugiwara no Luffy.
Wiper thinks that the Straw Hat boy is a fool, and a weak one at that. But he is proven wrong as Enel falls and for the first time in a century, they are all at peace. He waves the straw hats away and knows that they will take the world by storm.
Aokiji is a fool, he knows this, but he does not care. He allows Nico Robin to live, he did, after all, let her escape all those years ago, it’s only fair if he lets the grandson of Garp live if he is willing to put his life on the line.
Franky joined because of his dream, they’re a crew of dreamers. And as his body becomes more metal than human he still loves their crew, he will become stronger so that his captain does not have to carry the burden of grief like that ever again.
Brook joined because he could. Well, that’s why he did in the first place, later on, it’s because the boy has bought his respect, as has the rest of them, so he sets sail and watches in horror as his crew is sent away because it is just like before. And when the tattoo comes through he starts a new career (temporarily of course).
Camie likes the pirates, generally, she doesn’t like pirates because pirates mean more abductions but one has to give someone the benefit of the doubt. And then she herself is kidnapped and then she’s on display and men and Tenryuubito and then Luffy. After the War of the Best she is sad for him but then when she sees him two years later she knows that he is okay.
Shakki has met many people over the years, both as a pirate and as a bar-tender on the Sabaody Archipelago. Monkey D. Luffy exceeds her expectations but at the same time fulfils him, she’s glad to see the straw hats come back together after two years of training.
Rayleigh is reminded of his own captain as he looks in the eyes of the straw hat bearing boy. A charisma of daring and challenge within him. It’s only proven as the brat single-handedly punches a Tenryuubito without any remorse. Afterwards, he’s glad when Kuma knocks him away because it means that they will not face utter annihilation. And then, he offers to train the boy because he has the potential but it is untapped. So he tries to help the boy heal and train.
Trafalgar D. Water Law isn’t sure what to think about Monkey D. Luffy when he sees the boy for the first time, he knows that the boy is a D, obviously. But he fights alongside Kidd and mugiwara-ya, decidedly impressed by the skill of the boy. Then the serious rage as he punches the Tenryuubito. And then he sees him broken and wonders if he will gain the courage to go on. When Law meets up with him later on, in Punk Hazard, he is amazed by the stupidness of the boy, but at the same time he is not surprised and he’s glad that he found a partner to take down Doflamingo down with.
Eustass Kidd dislikes the straw hat shit, because he knows that he’s going to be a pain in the ass to defeat when it comes to One Piece. And when the straw hats resurface two years later he laughs because, finally, someone worth defeating.
Jewelry Bonney thinks that the kid is certainly interesting, and then Marineford happens and she wonders whywhywhy, and that Blackbeard will pay. Her thoughts stray to the fool who didn’t surface until a couple of weeks after the war and rings the bell, signalling a new age. She likes it.
Kuma is first and foremost a revolutionary, he was secondly a shichibukai. This does not affect his day-to-day life and he fights against the injustices in the world alongside a man with a tribal tattoo. He watches as his leader looks to the East Blue every single time. He likes the Luffy boy, he knows that they’re not strong enough to face the New World yet so he flings them away and makes a promise for a boy in a straw hat.
Marguerite has never seen a man before in her life, but Luffy is the exception to this rule. And after he is brought back from the War she hasn’t seen a man so… broken.
Boa Hancock hates men, hates them as much, maybe more than Tenryuubito. But then Monkey D. Luffy comes crashing down into her life. He is a man, but… maybe. He can change her… And then… Then her Luffy is in such agony because his brother, his light, is dead. She knows how it would be to lose her sisters… For that to happen to her Luffy… But thankfully he seems to get over the pain of loss during the two years he trains.
Ivankov is an okama, he is also a revolutionary. But he simply adores straw hat boy, not just because of the strength of his spirit but also because he is Dragon-boy’s son. It is a depressing thought to know that the boy’s brother is dead but he knows that the boy will be fine, he has Rayleigh and Jinbe to stress over him.
Jinbe joined the man because he was asked, simple as that, Luffy is a man worthy of being followed by him and it is long past due that he flexed his wings as a pirate he is proud to be. So he reminds Luffy of what he has to live for and relishes in their meetings two years later, first at Fishman Island and then at Whole Cake Island.
Whitebeard is impressed by the cheeky brat, having the gall to challenge him and defend him from the Crocodile brat. So, he knows that there is a strong possibility that Monkey is the D Roger has been waiting for. And when a sacrifice is made of blood and fire he will enact his revenge and hope that his crew will protect the straw hat brat.
Marco decides that seeing as it was Ace’s final wish to protect his baby brother so he swoops down, deciding that Monkey D. Luffy will survive this, even if it means death. And then when his aid is requested long after the revenge war that they lost. He gives it, because Monkey D. Luffy asked, and he is the only link he can think of for Ace…
The Marines think that Monkey D. Luffy is suicidal for his actions at Marineford, any sane person would run away, tail between legs at the thought of fighting the Navy’s best. Although, he survives, so what does that say about their thoughts?
Fukaboshi thanks mugiwara no Luffy a lot, he is happy that the boy broke the law about the exchange of blood and defeated Hody of the New Fishman Pirates. He mended fishman island even if he didn’t think it. And the fact that the boy was going to contest for their territory with a yonkou… he owed a lot to the mugiwara no ichimi…
Shirahoshi has never left the tower she lives in for almost as long as she could remember. It is a condition of her living, but Luffy-san… he comes in and breaks her fragile world into little pieces and she is grateful for it, so very grateful. It is her dream to see Luffy become King of the Pirates now…
Doflamingo is a heavenly demon, he fell from the heavens to this ungodly realm. But he will rule this domain eventually. He hates the straw hat fool, ruining all of his plans and getting the stupid boy his revenge. His plan is in shambles but he laughs because he knows he will be released, he knows far too much.
Rebecca thinks that Lucy has a very good chance of winning, he is obviously very strong and agile. She is worried about winning the mera mera no mi, then she discovers just who Lucy is and resigns herself to her fate. And then her kingdom is free and she lives as free as anyone else, all because of the Straw Hat Pirates.
The Tontatta tribe is very secluded, has always been this way since the very beginning (after their release at least). But even so, they willingly commit to the Straw Hat Fleet, even if their commander did not agree, if the Straw Hats are ever in trouble they will come in all their forces.
Bartolomeo finally meets his idol and can’t help the tears swimming in his eyes, even so, he promises that he will win the mera mera no mi for Luffy-senpai! And then when he is officially a part of the Fleet he smiles for he may be needed by Luffy one day.
The Straw Hat Fleet is comprised of over 5000 members in total, none of them are officially bound to their leader for he did not want to oversee such an amount of people. Instead, they pledge themselves to him and promise to come if they are ever in trouble.
Admiral Fujitora, for the first time in many years, wishes that he had not slashed his own eyes, he wants to see Monkey D. Luffy’s face. See his smile, what kind of man must he be for an entire kingdom to protect him?
Carrot thinks that Luffy is funny, he smiles a lot and laughs a lot. He’s also super strong, strong enough to avoid the two elders on Zou! She was very excited to go on an adventure with the Straw Hat Pirates to save Sanji-san!
Reiju’s first thought is thank god Sanji ended up with such a crew. They’re so nice and she can’t help and hope that he had a semi-normal childhood after he left. She wishes it for Sanji, he was so nice and she couldn’t do much about Ichiji, Niji and Yonji otherwise they would hurt her.
