This might be an unpopular opinion but one my biggest wishes for the next TES game is different depictions of Sanguine.

As much as I love his silly antics in Oblivion and Skyrim I personally think he’s one of the scariest princes…

He’s the addiction you can never break free of, the man in the trench coat selling what you should never buy, he’s the overdose that kills you suddenly and the cancer that kills you slow.

He’s the voice of empathy to cheaters, liars, and abusers, the one who tells them it’s what they deserve, to have another drink to forget it all, that there’s nothing wrong with a little fun.

He’s the lack of every boundary you can think of, so long as one person is reveling in their hedonism and debauchery, it doesn’t matter if the other party is suffering. There are no limits, no rules or breaks to a party where all sins and secrets are welcomed in all their forms without question.

He’s the perversion of serial killers, the art of torture, blood-made-pleasure, and the never ending night, even if you managed to leave his realm you would never truly be free of his influence, it’s all a matter of if he gets you now or later.

He’s just as cruel and amoral as other Princes, he enjoys corrupting and toying with mortals just as much, but the promise of pleasure is always mistaken for generosity.

I don’t play skyrim to kill dragons and marry farkas.

I play skyrim to sell my souls to every god and daedric prince in the nine realms, thereby forcing the powers of the universe to go to custody court over me, only to go live with my aunt that give me wine if I leave her alone while she watches interview with a vampire (Nocturnal) and my uncle that’s been wandering around the woods for six months with his dog (Hircine) AND marry farkas.
