Hayden Christensen San Francisco Fan Expo Part 2

I don’t post here all that often, but I wanted to show off my Wally Darling cosplay for Fan Expo SF!

I hand-sewed the neckpiece and pants, crocheted the sweater after making my own pattern for it, and hand-painted the buttons (as well as the hearts on the bottom of the shoes, not shown here)!

I made little bracelets that I handed out to all the neighbors who recognized me— which was way more than I anticipated! This was such a fun cosplay and I’ll definitely be taking him to more cons in the future ✨

So this happened today.

Simply put: he is the nicest human being I’ve ever met and he’s oddly so soft spoken? I didn’t think he would be. We got to talk about how much Boba meant to me, and he was so supportive when I made a comment about choosing my own name since the one my mom gave me no longer fit my gender. He said I picked a good name and that’s when I broke down in front of him. My cheeks hurt so much from all the smiling I did.

Yep, this is why I was out almost all day today! Sadly Megan's Q&A panel was cancelled at the last minute bc she lost her voice, but hopefully she feels better soon!

Out of all the cons I've attended this far, this one could've been better since a bunch of guests I also wanted to meet cancelled; one of the guests was gonna be Joe Quinn, but I heard he cancelled bc of Fantastic 4 filming. But on the bright side, I did manage to stop by Grace Van Dien's booth to say hi & give her props for her role as Chrissy. Another thing I also noticed was that this year there were lesser crowds compared to last year which was a much bigger turnout, prolly bc it's Sunday & I attended last year's Fan Expo SF on a Saturday! Either way, I had a pretty decent time being out of my house for a few hours especially before I get back to class again tomorrow!
