The product coating is additionally plastic rather than glass, like the Galaxy S20 FE. It uses the very same electronic camera hardware as the S20 nonetheless, in addition to the very same battery capacity and also RAM. It's the entrance factor into the new Galaxy S gadgets.

The video camera equipment is the same as the Galaxy S21 as well as the Galaxy S20, dropping the depth sensing unit from the Galaxy S20+. We expect it to supply great results and this 2021 design has a battery boost compared to its predecessor too.
Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra.
Dimensions: 165.1 x 75.6 x 8.9 mm, 228g, IP68. Display: 6.8-inches, Quad HD+, Infinity-O, Flexible 120Hz. Video cameras: 108MP primary + 12MP ultra broad + 10MP tele + 10MP tele 2; 40MP front. Storage: 128/256/512GB, no microSD. Battery: 5000mAh.

It also has a different cam loadout than the other 2 devices in the variety with two telephoto lenses aboard. Additionally, the S21 Ultra comes with S Pen functionality, placing it up against the Note variety, despite the fact that the distinction below is that the Ultra does not have the S Pen included. It's the most costly of the S21 range nonetheless so be prepared to dig deep.
Samsung Galaxy S20 FE.
Measurements: 159.8 x 74.5 x 8.4 mm, 190g, IP68. Show: 6.5-inch, Full HD+, Infinity-O, 120Hz,. Cams: 12MP major + 12MP ultra vast + 8MP zoom; 32MP front. Storage: 128GB, microSD. Battery: 4500mAh.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE introduced after the rest of the Galaxy S20 variety however it supplies a great deal for its price point - which is quite a bit less than the Galaxy S20. The FE, or Fan Version, supplies a huge display with a 120Hz freshen rate, together with a style that is the same as the S20 variety however with a plastic body instead of glass.
It drops the screen resolution to Complete HD+ like the S21 and also S21+ and it has a level screen with larger bezels than the remainder of the S20 range, however it uses a great electronic camera loadout, a good battery as well as it's a great cost.
Tumblr media
Samsung Galaxy S20.
Dimensions: 151.7 x 69.1 x 7.9 mm, 163g, IP68. Present: 6.2-inches, 3200 x 1440 (566ppi), Infinity-O, 120Hz. Cams: 12MP major + 12MP ultra vast + 64MP zoom; 10MP front. Storage: 128GB, microSD. Battery: 4000mAh.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 is the structure for the 2020 phones, updating the Galaxy S10, with brand-new hardware, a new display screen that uses 120Hz, a larger battery and brand-new cams.
The camera gets a new sensor with larger pixels and also an extra remarkable zoom plan providing you as much as 30X electronic zoom, as well as 8K video capture. This model additionally is available in 4G or 5G variations. It's even more economical than the bigger tools, but the display is smaller sized. Generally, it's an excellent solid phone.
Samsung Galaxy S20+.
Measurements: 161.9, 73.7 x 7.8 mm, 186g, IP68. Present: 6.7-inches, 3200 x 1440 (524ppi), Infinity-O, 120Hz. Cams: 12MP major + 12MP ultra large + 64MP zoom + DepthVision; 10MP front. Storage space: 128/512GB, microSD. Battery: 4500mAh.
Changing points up, the S20+ is possibly the pleasant spot for many in the S20 collection, in terms of size, however it only comes as a 5G mobile in many markets, making it look fairly expensive contrasted to the S10+ that it changes.
It also uses lots of power, that excellent display with 120Hz for those that want it, as well as a new camera system - the same as the Galaxy S20 and S21 yet with an added depth sensor - which doesn't show up to do a lot. The battery is reputable making this a great all-rounder.
Samsung Galaxy S20+ testimonial.
Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra.
Dimensions: 166.9 x 76.0 x 8.8 mm, 220g, IP68. Present: 6.9-inches, 3200 x 1440 (509ppi), Infinity-O, 120Hz. Cameras: 108MP main + 12MP ultra wide + 48MP zoom + DepthVision; 40MP front. Storage space: 128/512GB, microSD. Battery: 5000mAh.
The Galaxy S20 Ultra lays out to be the greatest of the Galaxy S20 household with huge everything: huge display screen, big battery, huge camera resolutions. Just like the S21 Ultra that changes it. That all, regretfully, comes with a huge cost.
On the whole the S20 Ultra is a terrific phone, but the battery might not last as long as you anticipate and also the video cameras are a little oversold, so the 100X zoom heading doesn't truly deliver. It's a 5G phone. Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra evaluation.
Samsung Galaxy Note series
The main models in the Galaxy Note range are the Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra (and their 5G variants), all of which launched in August 2020. Don't ignore the Note 10 Lite, Note 10 and Note 10+ if you're interested in the Note though.
As ever, only opt for a Note if you're going to make use of the S Pen stylus and consider the S20 Ultra if you want S Pen compatibility but without it being built in.
Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra vs Galaxy Note 20: What's the difference?
Samsung Galaxy Note 20
Dimensions: 161.6 x 75.2 x 8.3mm, 192g (LTE), 194g (5G), IP68 Display: 6.7-inches, 2400 x 1080 (393ppi), flat Super AMOLED Cameras: 12MP main + 12MP ultra-wide + 64MP telephoto; 10MP front Storage: 128GB/256GB (5G), 256GB (LTE), no microSD support Battery: 4300mAh
The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 offers a similar design to the Note 10 it succeeds, but it opts for a flat display and changes the camera housing on the rear to a more pronounced offering. There's also a 'glasstic' rear instead of glass but the overall design is lovely and neat.
The camera system is the same as what you'll find in the Galaxy S20 and S21 so it should deliver great things, and while the display sticks to a 60Hz refresh rate and there's no microSD support again, if you're looking for a phone with an integrated stylus then there's little better than the note-taking potential of this phone.
Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra
Dimensions: 164.8 x 77.2 x 8.1mm, 208g, IP68 Display: 6.9-inches, 3088 x 1440 (496ppi), dual edge Super AMOLED Cameras: 12MP main + 108MP ultra-wide + 12MP telephoto; 10MP front Storage: 128GB/256GB/512GB (5G), 256GB/512GB (LTE), microSD support Battery: 4500mAh
The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra sits at the top of the Galaxy Note series and it offers some of the best technology Samsung has to offer. It has a similar design to the Note 10+ but changes things up in the rear camera housing as well as the camera make up. A similar offering to the S20 Ultra is on board but with a laser sensor to help with the zoom - which has dropped to 50X instead of 100X.
After nearly 10 years at the cutting edge, the Samsung Galaxy Note series is still on top of its game. Yes, it's easy to see the Note 20 Ultra as "just another Note" - but that's because it's got so much right.
Samsung Galaxy Note 10
Dimensions: 151 x 71.8 x 7.9mm, 168g, IP68 Display: 6.3-inches, 2280 x 1080 (401ppi), dual edge Super AMOLED Cameras: 12MP + 16MP + 12MP; 10MP front Storage: 256GB, no microSD support Battery: 3500mAh
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 offers a cleaner design than the S10 range with vertical rear camera setup and a centralised punch-hole front camera.
It was the first Note device to offer a smaller screen but it retains all the S Pen performance of the other models. A few compromises have been made, such as a lower resolution display and no microSD support, but the Note 10 is a great option for those that have always wanted a Note but may have found it too big. There's the option of 4G and 5G models too.
Samsung Galaxy Note 10+
Dimensions: 162.3 x 77.2 x 7.9mm, 196g, IP68 Display: 6.8-inches, 3040 x 1440 (498ppi), dual edge Super AMOLED Cameras: 16MP + 12MP + 12MP + Depth; 10MP front Storage: 256GB/512GB, microSD support (up to 1TB) Battery: 4300mAh
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ has the same design as the Note 10 but on a larger scale. It also ups the rear camera lenses to four, adding a depth sensor and it increases the screen resolution and size too.
The S Pen stylus and its gesture controls are great, while the huge screen and neat punch hole camera are everything you'd hope for from the Note series. There's also smooth and speedy operation, making the Note 10+ a fabulous handset. Like the standard Note 10, there are 4G and 5G options.
Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite
Dimensions: 163.7 x 76.1 x 8.7mm, 199g Display: 6.7 inches, 2400 x 1080 (394ppi), Super AMOLED Cameras: 12MP + 12MP + 12MP; 32MP front Storage: 128GB, microSD Battery: 4500mAh
The Note 10 Lite arrived in January 2020 and is an entry to the Note range that reflects what Samsung tried to do with the S10e - have a cheaper model that still retained a premium name.
It's no slouch with an Exynos 9810 octa-core platform underpinning everything and it only features a few corner cuts as opposed to the main Note 10 models. It's also bigger than the standard Note 10, but slightly smaller than the Note 10+.
It doesn't, however, quite have the specs to compete with the S10 Lite.
Samsung Galaxy A Series
Samsung also offers a wide range of A models, which might be worth considering depending on what you want from your smartphone. There's some overlap with Galaxy S phones, especially at the top end.
Samsung Galaxy A90 5G
Dimensions: 164.8 x 76.4 x 8.4mm, 206g Display: 6.7-inches, 2400 x 1080 (393ppi), Super AMOLED Cameras: 48MP + 5MP + 8MP; 32MP front Storage: 128GB, microSD support up to 512GB Battery: 4500mAh
The Samsung Galaxy A90 5G has a large display with a small waterdrop notch at the top and a triple vertical camera on the rear, neatly positioned in the top left corner. It's also Snapdragon 855, so this is flagship grade, even if it is 2019 flagship grade.
There are some excellent features onboard this device, not just a lovely design and build quality but a triple rear camera, an under-display fingerprint scanner and 5G.
Tumblr media
Samsung Galaxy A80
Dimensions: 165.2 x 76.5 x 9.3mm, 220g Display: 6.7-inches, 2400 x 1080 (392ppi), Super AMOLED Cameras: Rotating 48MP + 8MP + HQVGA Storage: 128GB, no microSD support Battery: 3700mAh
The Samsung Galaxy A80 has a huge, uninterrupted display thanks to the automatic slide up rotating camera. We weren't 100 per cent sold on the rotating mechanism's durability, but the A80 is a lovely looking device with some great features.
There are some excellent specs under its hood, including plenty of RAM, a battery that will likely see you through the day, as well as an under-display fingerprint sensor, bringing lots of flagship features for less money than the flagship Galaxy devices.
Samsung Galaxy A71
Dimensions: 163.6 x 76.0 x 7.7mm, 179g Display: 6.7-inches, 2400 x 1080 (392ppi), Super AMOLED Plus Cameras: 64MP main + 12MP ultra wide + 5MP macro + depth sensor; 32MP (f/2.2) front Storage: 128GB, microSD support up to 1TB Battery: 4500mAh
The Samsung Galaxy A71 was announced at the start of 2020, essentially an update for the A70. That brings with it newer hardware, but similar core specs. There's the shift to Infinity-O for the display, with a punch hole rather than the notch of the A70. There is also a 5G version in some regions.
That's joined by a higher resolution rear camera, going after the megapixels in this mid-range device. If you love the S10 range but you can't justify the price tag, the A71 is half the price with plenty to love.
Samsung Galaxy A51 5G
Dimensions: 158.9 x 73.6 x 8.7mm, 187g Display: 6.5-inches, 2400 x 1080 (405ppi), Super AMOLED Cameras: 48MP main + 12MP ultra-wide + 5MP depth + 5MP macro; 32MP (f/2.2) front Storage: 128GB, microSD support up to 1TB Battery: 4500mAh
There's a few small differences between the Galaxy A51 and the Galaxy A71 models, but overall this is an update on the A50 model, with a larger display, increased resolution on the cameras and a larger battery capacity.
It's still a mid-range device, but it is available with 5G in some regions. The base level of storage is generous with microSD expansion and a there's a nice punch hole display too.
Samsung Galaxy A41
Dimensions: 149.9 x 69.8 x 7.9mm, 152g Display: 6.1-inches, 2400 x 1080 (431ppi), Super AMOLED Cameras: 48MP main + 8MP ultra wide + 5MP depth; 25MP front Storage: 64GB, microSD support up to 512GB Battery: 3500mAh
The Samsung Galaxy A41 updates the A40, moving to a 0.2-inch larger display with an under-display fingerprint scanner and a largwer battery. It keeps the Infinity-U display, so there's a water drop notch at the top, rather than the punch hole that you'll find on the A51.
There's a step-down in the number of cameras from the A51, missing out on the macro camera, but otherwise the A41 offers a nice compact Samsung handset.
Samsung Galaxy A21s
Dimensions: 163.7 x 75.3 x 8.9mm, 192g Display: 6.5-inches, 1600 x 720 (270ppi), TFT LCD Cameras: Quad rear 48MP (f/2.0) main + 8MP (f/2.2) ultra wide + 2MP (f/2.4) depth + 2MP (f/2.4) macro; 13MP front (f/2.2) Storage: 32GB, microSD support up to 512GB Battery: 5000mAh
The Samsung Galaxy A21s has a huge display with a punch hole selfie camera in the top left corner, a huge battery that should more than see you through the day and a quad camera on the rear in a camera housing that resembles the more expensive S20 range.
There's a physical fingerprint sensor on the rear and microSD support for storage expansion too. The resolution isn't the highest, nor is the internal storage but for the price, the A21s could be a good option for those that want a Samsung with a big screen and big battery.
Samsung Galaxy A21e
Dimensions: 147.4 x 69.7 x 8.4mm, 141g Display: 5.8-inches, 1560 x 720 (296ppi), TFT LCD Cameras: Dual rear 13MP (f/1.9) main + 5MP (f/2.2) ultra wide; 8MP front (f/2.0) Storage: 32GB, microSD support up to 512GB Battery: 3000mAh
The Samsung Galaxy A21e doesn't have a punch hole camera like the A20s - instead opting for a waterdrop notch at the top - making it look a little more dated. There's a big enough display though, a dual rear camera and it still has a nice design for the price.
You get a little more with the A21s - especially in the case of the battery - but the A21e still has an ultra-wide angle camera on the rear to give you some interesting shots, as well as some software features for great selfies from the front.
Tumblr media
Samsung Galaxy A10
Dimensions: 146.1 x 71.4 x 7.9mm, 157g Display: 6.2-inches, 1520 x 720 (271ppi), TFT LCD Cameras: 13MP (f/1.9, AF, FHD video), 5MP front (f/2.0) Storage: 32GB, microSD support up to 512GB Battery: 3400mAh
The Samsung Galaxy A10 is the cheapest A model device but it still has a huge display for its footprint, a large battery capacity that should easily see you through a day and then some and plenty of storage from the 512GB microSD support. It doesn't have a fingerprint sensor and it only offers a single rear camera and single front camera, but if you're after a cheap Samsung device with a nice design and basic specifications, the Galaxy A10 might be the one for you.
Samsung Galaxy Z series
The Samsung Galaxy Z series sits at the top of the Galaxy portfolio in terms of price, mainly down to their folding designs. The two latest models are the Galaxy Z Fold 2 and the Galaxy Z Flip. There's also the original folding device in the Galaxy Fold but it has had its issues so the newer model is likely the better option.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2
Dimensions: 159.2 x 128.2 x 6.9mm (unfolded), 159.2 x 68 x 16.8mm (folded), 282g Internal display: 7.6-inches, 2208 x 1768 (372ppi), AMOLED External display: 6.2-inches, 2260 x 816 (388ppi), AMOLED Cameras: 12MP (f/1.8, AF, OIS), 12MP ultra-wide (f/2.2), 12MP telephoto (f/2.4), two 10MP front (f/2.0) Storage: 256GB, no microSD support Battery: 4500mAh
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 succeeds the original Galaxy Fold, offering the same book-style design with a vertical fold but featuring a number of refinements, including a hinge redesign. There's also a larger external display on board and punch hole front cameras for a neater finish.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 appears to have fixed some of the biggest issues with the original Fold so if you're after a folding smartphone and the latest innovation Samsung has to offer in terms of design, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 might be the one for you.
Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 review
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 vs Fold: What's the difference?
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip
Dimensions: 167.3 x 73.6 x 7.2mm (unfolded), 87.4 x 73.6 x 17.3mm (folded), 183g Internal display: 6.7-inches, 2636 x 1080 pixels (425ppi), AMOLED External display: 1.1-inches, 300 x 112 pixels (303ppi) Cameras: 12MP (f/1.8), 12MP ultra-wide (f/2.2), 10MP front (f/2.4) Storage: 256GB, no microSD support Battery: 3300mAh
We check 1,000s of prices on 1,000s of retailers to get you the lowest new price we can find. Pocket-lint may get a commission from these offers. Read more here.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G is also a foldable smartphone but it folds horizontally rather than vertically like the Fold, resulting in a very cool clamshell design. A little like an older Galaxy S model folded in half. There is a 4G model with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ and a 5G model running the Snapdragon 865+.
The Z Flip 5G allows you to have a larger display but without that length in your pocket and the hinge design offers various viewing angles. There are some compromises in terms of camera and battery but for those after retro cool, the Z Flip could definitely be the Galaxy for you.

Will Your Next Smartphone be a Xiaomi? S20 FE 5G vs Mi 10T!
I must start off by saying WOW. Just a few short years ago, I wouldn't have dared to compare a pretty high end Samsung device to any Xiaomi phone. Here we are though, it's 2021, Huawei is pretty much out of the picture given that their phones don't have access to the Google services, Samsung makes great phones, but are usually quite pricey and Xiaomi isn't focused on making only cheap, budget smartphones anymore. Although not available worldwide, the Mi 10 Ultra, which takes every spec and brings it to the max is Xiaomi's way of giving us a sneak peak into what the future holds when it comes to their high end phones.
We are going to divide this comparison into 6 categories: Design, Screen, UI, Performance, Camera and finally, which one deserves your hard earned cash the most? If you're only interested in a specific, feel free to jump to that section through the video progress bar.
Ok, so first of all, the design and quality of the phones. This one is pretty easy, with Samsung you can feel that some corners were cut in order to bring the price down, we have seen this happening with most flagship killers. The back is made out a hybrid material, something that Samsung calls glasstic, but really, it feels like matte plastic. On the Mi 10T, we have Gorilla glass 5 not just on the front, but also on the back with this mirror-like effect. Also, the color of the back shifts from dark grey to almost silver, depending on the light. The frame is made out of aluminium on both, which is to be expected, but overall, the design of the S20 FE is just uninspiring. From the plain camera bump, to the larger bezels, I just don't think the S20 FE takes the crown when it comes to design. The bezels on this phone are slightly larger than on the predecessor, the Galaxy S10 Lite, so I can't say I'm pleased with this. Although the bezels aren't really slim on the Mi 10T either, when holding the phone, you can feel that the materials are of much higher quality, mostly because of the back. The camera bump is more pronounced but at least more interesting than just throwing 3 cameras in column and making the bump much wider than necessary. I must mention, this is not a 4 camera system, as the holes would lead you to believe, one of them is there just for the sake of symmetry. I will say though, the Mi 10T is quite a bit heavier than the S20 FE, a bit larger, mostly because of the larger screen and about a milimeter thicker, so if you appreciate thin & light, the Mi 10T might not be for you. If these things don't bother you, the Mi 10T is an absolute winner, being much closer to flagship territory than the S20FE, when it comes to the design.
Things are going to get a lot more interesting now, let's talk about the screens. On paper, the screen of the Mi 10T might look like the winner. After all, it's larger, coming in at 6.67 inches instead of 6.5 inches and it has an impressive 144Hz refresh rate, rather than 120Hz. There's a catch though, the screen on the Mi 10T is an IPS LCD panel, unlike the Samsung which has an AMOLED screen. This right here is a significant difference and the sole reason why the screen on the Mi 10T is not as good as it could be. Blacks are not as deep as on the AMOLED, because of the backlighting, the refresh rate isn't as impressive as it sounds on paper, because of the high response time, which looks like ghosting if you pay attention. I'm not sure it would've fit the budget, but I can honestly say a 90Hz AMOLED screen would've been the better choice, instead of going all out on the refresh rate but not feeling this benefit because of the LCD panel. Because of the LCD panel, it also means that you are missing out on Always on functionality, but this is the smallest of drawbacks, if you ask me. On the other side, with the Samsung, it's the usual AMOLED with really saturated colors. If you switch colors from vivid to to normal, the colors become too washed out, much more than I'm used to on my iPhone. What I ended up doing is using vivid mode with the blue light filter activated. I'm sure color accuracy suffers because of this, but at least the screen looks closer to what I'm used to.
Next up, we'll discuss the UIs, because it's an important category. This does come down to personal preference though, so what I'll do is tell you what each one can do and any drawbacks that they may have. Let's start off with Samsung, this S20 FE 5G rocks One UI 3 on top of Android 11 and to be honest, Samsung has got their stuff together when it comes to UIs. I get updates quite frequently and will continue to get Android updates until Android 13, Samsung has their own identity now, I like their browser better than Chrome. Also something great that Samsung did for one-handed use is using these large headers at the top, which disappears when scrolling, but mean that you can easily access the buttons when opening the app. Samsung's dedicated one-handed mode is elegant and can be adjusted so the screen shrinks to exactly the size you need. As far as bugs and glitches go, I can happily say that I haven't experienced none and the interface is smooth. On the Mi 10T we have MIUI 12 running on top of Android 10, so we're starting off already with an older version of Android, but this should be updated to Android 11 at some point, hopefully... MIUI feels a bit snappier and it has a lot of great looking notifications, maybe a bit overdone, but it cheers me up seeing stuff happening instead of the boring notifications we all got used to. I like the fact that I can get to the quick settings panel through a single swipe on the right side of the screen instead of two swipes on Samsung. The video toolbox is extremely useful as it lets you listen podcasts on Android with the screen closed. It's not all rosy though, the phone app is for example the stock android one and the UI elements just don't seem MIUI-like, the background of the app is blueish, whereas all the other apps are black because I have dark mode on. Sometimes, an app I use frequently, cellmapper is stuck open and the only way to close it is by force-closing. I am happy to report, though that there are no ads here. In the end, it comes down to personal preference, if you like your phone to be more animated, you'll like MIUI, if you want a more sober experience, go with One UI.
Performance wise, not much to say, both are at the flagship level, given the Snapdragon 865 equipped by both. 6GB of RAM on both, as these are the base models, MIUI seems to be a bit more aggressive with RAM management but this can be tweaked on a per-app basis, so your most used apps aren't going to get closed. I'm impressed that I don't feel the change in the refresh rate on the Xiaomi, as it is adaptive, it's smooth all throughout. One thing I like about the Xiaomi is the side mounted fingerprint reader, it's blazing fast, much faster than any phone I've used so far. With the on screen fingerprint sensor on the S20 FE, I almost always struggle to get it to unlock, it's harder to keep your finger stationary on glass and it seems to have a hard time reading my finger. Overall, I'll give this to the Mi 10T, the fingerprint scanner tips the scale in its direction for sure.
Cameras are a category where sometimes you can really feel that corners were cut. In this case, the Mi 10T doesn't have a telephoto camera, Xiaomi choosing to offer a 5MP macro lens, which although miles better than the 2 MP, it still doesn't come anywhere close to the telephoto when it comes to usefulness. The main camera is a 64MP shooter on the Mi 10T, using pixel binning to get 16MP photos, whereas on the Samsung we have a 12MP sensor. Overall, both take good shots, with the Xiaomi having more details, but losing out on dynamic range and in low light conditions, which is why I'll give this one to Samsung. The Mi 10T shoots 8k video, but that's a gimmick, as there is no video stabilisation at 8k, so you'll most likely end up shooting 4k to get usable video.
So, now the final question. Which one should you get? Well, here's the deal, both of these smartphones are great, but for the price difference, $699 vs about $499, it's hard to justify the price of the Samsung. Yes, the camera is better on the Samsung, but on the other hand, the design on the Mi 10T is higher quality than on the Samsung. I can only recommend the S20 FE if you want an all-around better camera system, partly due to the telephoto, partly due to better dynamic range and low light capabilities or if you absolutely can't live without OLED, though I'd recommend checking it out in real life before making the call. If the camera's not your main focus, spare the money and get the better looking, higher quality built Mi 10T.

Performance comparison of Huawei P40 and Samsung S20
2020 begins with the continuous smartphone line, despite the intense epidemic, but the technology market is always warming. New product lines like the Samsung Galaxy S20 and Huawei P40 have just been launched. Unlike other feature-rich and expensive brethren like Samsung S20 Ultra or Huawei P40 Pro. These 2 models have an affordable price.
In your opinion, between the two models, which one is worth your money to buy? Let's find out @chanhnguyen00 immediately.
Huawei P40 and Samsung S20 ecosystem
First, we will compare the application ecosystem on the two machines. As we all know, Huawei P40 is having a problem when it is banned from using Google Mobile Services, from using Google's ecosystems to applications in CH Play.
However, Huawei tried to replace it with HMS and AppGallery store. But AppGallery only provides a much smaller application library.
Therefore, in terms of ecosystem, S20 is probably a better choice for the majority of Android users who are familiar with the Google ecosystem.
Design Huawei P40 and Samsung S20
Tumblr media
The most noticeable thing is that the designs of these two flagships have similar points, especially the back of the device. Both use black rectangular camera covers, flat screens, and light pastel colors. Even the P40 and S20 use perforated screens, though Samsung is just a small hole in the center, and Huawei is a big hole with a tablet shape that reminds us of the Galaxy S10 design.
There are subtle differences for each look and design, such as the speaker grille and metal design around the buttons.
Despite the similar design, the S20 is thinner and lighter, which makes the mushroom feel more firm. The slightly curved screen and the rear edges also make it easier to hold.
Huawei P40 and Samsung S20 performance
It can be said that Huawei P40 and S20 both bring a top performance, because of its advanced processor and tons of memory. The Galaxy S20's 12GB RAM is overkill for 99% of use cases. However, including a microSD card slot may be more useful than Huawei's more expensive Nano memory card. Given that the P40 ships with 128GB of internal storage, this is an important difference.
The S20 uses a Snapdragon 865 or Exynos 990 chip, depending on the region. Meanwhile, Huawei P40 uses Kirin 990 5G SoC chip. Both chips provide a day-to-day experience. However, there will be some differences in stricter conditions.
Tumblr media
As expected, the Huawei P40 Kirin 990 provides slightly lower single core CPU performance. This is due to its slightly older Cortex-A76 CPU, compared to the Cortex-A77 in Snapdragon 865 and custom Mongoose-M5 in Exynos 990. This puts the Kirin 990 closer to last year's handsets, though Multi-core performance is much more competitive.
On the GPU side, Huawei is more noticeable behind its rival chips, once again thanks to the older Mali-G76 MP16 GPU. For comparison, Exynos 990 uses the newer Mali-G77 MP11 configuration. However, it's Qualcomm's exclusive Adreno 650 solution that delivers superior gaming performance. Even so, the Huawei P40 is still a comprehensive chip, creating a benchmark gap across the system thanks to its strong memory configuration.
What do you think about the performance and design of these two machines? Which device do you prefer? Please comment below.

Might want to rethink Saving up for this phone.
Samsung’s Galaxy Note 20 Lineup, expected to release around fall, carries a bit of an unexpected twist. Unless you live inside the North America region, you will most likely be shipped a lesser, Exynos version of the phone rather than the much more powerful Snapdragon chipset.
Plus, according to specification leaks, the standard Note 20 model will act as a Lite version of Note 20, forcing Note fans to pay upwards of almost 2000 dollars if they want something that at least meets the S20 lineup standards.

Motorola comeback with edge+ smartphone
Motorola has big plans for 2020 and despite the COVID-19 pandemic pulling the world to an abrupt stop, the Lenovo-owned smartphone maker is ready to come up new flagship phones. Motorola originally hinted at launching the Edge series smartphones at this year's MWC 2020 but as the event was cancelled, it seems that Motorola might unveil those phones in an event it has announced for April 22.
A video teaser has been shared by Motorola that suggests it is indeed bringing those Edge series phones to our markets. The phones will have a "waterfall curved-edge" display, as shown in the video. While none of the other specifications has been shared yet, Motorola says it will reveal these devices on April 22 via an online event.
While Motorola may like to keep everything behind the curtain, you can take a look at all the leaks regarding the Edge series from Motorola to understand that the company is finally making a comeback to the premium tier of phones after a long while. The Motorola Edge series is expected to be rivalling the likes of Samsung's Galaxy S20 series and OnePlus 8 Pro, the latter being announced tonight via an online launch event.
Motorola has for long limited its lineup to affordable smartphones. There were hardly any notable phones from the company in 2018. Their comeback in 2019 was marked with an extensive range of Android One phones. Late last year, Motorola surprised everyone with the new Razr folding phones, which brought back the iconic design of the old Razr from 2004 and fused it with a modern folding OLED display.
With the Edge series, Motorola is expected to make a solid re-entry into the mainstream premium smartphone space. The Motorola Edge will be using the 5G-enabled Snapdragon 765G chip whereas the Motorola Edge Plus will go ahead with a Snapdragon 865 chip. Leaks have suggested 90Hz refresh rate AMOLED displays with curved edges on both the phones. The Edge Plus is even said to be using the 108-megapixel main camera as the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra. The best part is that the Edge series will give us two premium-tier devices with stock Android interfaces.
It remains to be seen what pricing strategy does Motorola adapt for these phones. The company has been quite aggressive in its pricing with its affordable phones and with the high-end Motorola Edge Plus, we can expect a price that could rival the Samsung S20 and OnePlus 8 Pro.

Here are the best Phone LCD parts near you
so we're just going to go ahead and set it up see how quick it does scan pretty good so far let's go ahead and skip through this samsung account stuff i'll do that later i just want to explore the galaxy really quickly here now with the 1ui 4 and android 12 you do have more of these matching colors now so it's a lot more customized to your flavor i really do like that and then you do have more permissions you can do and they'll show you these tips i'm going to talk more about all these feature sets in my full review of this phone but right now i just want to go ahead and just get right into the device and let's go ahead and finish here. so we're now in the galaxy s21 fe and think of this phone as like the last the ending of the s21 they're gonna go to the s22 but you don't have to spring for a premium phone because they launched this one for you for those of you.
Motorola parts search, Motorola replacement parts.
who just don't want to pay that price really nice about this phone is it still comes with a 120 hertz display so it remains to be a smooth phone just like the s20 fe was that's good that they kept that and you don't got to pay a grand like you would have to do for some other phones to get a 120 hertz panel right here now this is not going to be your super high resolution this is going to be just a 1080p like panel so you can expect something like 2400 by 1080 but still that's gonna make out for 411 ppi across a 6.4 inch screen and what's really neat about this screen is that this phone is not you know that common the 6.4 inch size is not really common anymore so if you like that sweet spot of a size but you think like something like a 6.1 is too small something like a 6.7 is too large this might be the perfect size for you this is not very common 6.4 inches so very nice now one thing i will say is the weight of this phone actually feels quite nice as well let me bring out my scale really quickly here.
Tumblr media
Motorola parts online shop
Motorola cell phone parts for sale
Motorola parts search
And i will go ahead and just measure this quickly just to see what we're getting now i'm seeing weight measurements around 177 grams and it's right about there you can just round it up is exactly 177 grams so what does that mean that means for the size it's going to feel pretty lightweight and very easy to manage day-to-day you're not going to be getting hand cramps and stuff inside of this one let's get out of google news really quickly here but you know just another samsung phone but definitely up to date here getting that zoom camera if you don't want to pay for a premium to your Cell phone parts to get that zoomed camera so that's the galaxy s 21 fe i will say one thing though that you might not like this phone does no longer support expandable storage so if you want a card slot you're gonna have to pass on that because you're not getting it here you're gonna have to go with the storage level you want you can get the 128 gigabyte of storage or you can go ahead and get a 256 gig model so make sure that when you buy this phone that you do get the amount of storage that does suit your needs for me i want 128 gig.
Motorola replacement parts
Motorola Screen replacement parts
Motorola Solutions parts
i thought i needed 256 but i remembered my s21 ultra i only got to use i only used about probably i'm gonna say about 70 gigs so just kind of know what you use and then get the phone that matches your usage so out of the box it comes with one ui4 and android 12. so it's way up to date right out of the box and this one also has a snapdragon 888 cpu it has eight gigabytes of ram which is very nice you can get six gigs of ram i think if you get the lowest tier model on this Mobile parts but that's still going to be enough because samsung has been optimizing the os and it's been a lot more smooth here on their one ui software so it's not really going to be a major deal i found the s20 fe to be pretty good performer as well even though it didn't have the highest end stuff inside in terms of ram and things like that i want to go ahead and take a look at this phone in terms of these cases that they include really quick i'm not going to use that strap right now i'm just going to go ahead and put it in this case and man that is clean i'm not going to lie that looks pretty clean on this case right here that is going to be the strap cover case you can get this thing and they come in different colors depending on.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE vs Galaxy S21: the entire principal ameliorations we're expecting to see
Tumblr media
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE (now not pictured) is anticipated to be a cheaper alternative to the Galaxy S21 (above).
Sarah Tew/CNET
Samsung's next Galaxy telephone launch can be appropriate across the corner. The rumored Galaxy S21 FE may debut as early as Jan. four, in response to Jon Prosser, a well-known tech leaker with a combined song record. Like its predecessor, the Galaxy S21 FE is anticipated to be a less costly edition of Samsung's marquee smartphone.
That means you are likely questioning what you'll be lacking out on by way of selecting Samsung's funds-minded option over the typical Galaxy S21. it be inconceivable to answer that query before Samsung pronounces the Galaxy S21 FE. but rumors and leaks may additionally have given us some theory of how the Galaxy S21 FE may examine to its extra high priced sibling.
Get the CNET mobile publication
locate the most desirable telephones, apps and add-ons with our CNET mobile publication. Delivered Tuesdays and Thursdays.
it be essential to take into account that not one of the suggestions under has been validated by using Samsung and might not reflect the actual device. One rumor from Korean news web site DDaily also suggests the Galaxy S21 FE can also only launch in Europe, so it could now not be purchasable for your enviornment even if the leaks do become accurate.
right here's what we find out about how the Galaxy S21 FE might compare to the Galaxy S21.
Samsung Galaxy S21 vs. Samsung Galaxy S21 FE (rumored) Samsung Galaxy S21 Samsung Galaxy S21 FE (rumored) monitor 6.2-inch AMOLED 2,400 x 1,080; 120Hz refresh expense 6.four AMOLED 2,340 x 1,080; 120Hz refresh fee Processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G camera 12-megapixel vast, 12-megapixel ultra-broad, 64-megapixel telephoto 32-megapixel, 12-megapixel, 8-megapixel front camera 10-megapixel 12-megapixel Battery and charging 4,000 mAh capability; quick charging; instant PowerShare 4,370 mAh potential; quickly charging Storage 128GB or 256GB 128GB or 256GB reminiscence 8GB RAM 6GB or 8GB RAM Connectivity 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, ultrawideband 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 The Galaxy S21 FE may additionally have a a little greater screen than the Galaxy S21
The Galaxy S21 FE is rumored to include a 6.four-inch reveal, based on suggestions posted on China's TENAA Certification web site spotted by means of MyFixGuide. that would make it simply a little bit higher than the Galaxy S21's, which has a 6.2-inch screen, possibly making it a very good middle ground for those that need a reveal it's larger than the S21's but not as enormous because the 6.7-inch Galaxy S21 Plus.
it be also anticipated to come with a 120Hz refresh cost for smoother scrolling, identical to the Galaxy S21. but what's less clear is the resolution we may still predict to see. One report from MyFixGuide says the cell will include a 2,340x1,080 decision, while a comply with-up record from the equal web page lists the resolution as 2,009x1,080.
the first file is based on the TENAA Certification website, whereas the second came from leaked necessities that reportedly appeared on the Google Play Console, Google's tool that lets developers publish and control Android games and apps.
The Galaxy S21 FE's rate will doubtless be more affordable than the Galaxy S21's
We can't say anything else in regards to the Galaxy S21 FE with walk in the park just yet. but there's a robust probability it could be more affordable than the Galaxy S21, simply as the Galaxy S20 FE changed into about $300 much less costly than the Galaxy S20.
since the Galaxy S21 starts at $800, that could put the Galaxy S21 FE at $500 if Samsung follows the same pricing structure. however this is all hypothesis at this element, given that Samsung has yet to even announce the mobilephone. however there is an opportunity it may take a different approach for the reason that it already offers the Galaxy A52 5G at that fee.
expect a triple-lens digicam, however with different resolutions than the Galaxy S21
Like a lot of Samsung's other Galaxy phones, the Galaxy S21 FE is anticipated to come with a triple-lens camera, in keeping with MyFixGuide. however there are crucial adjustments when it involves the high-quality of those cameras, the file suggests. The Galaxy S21 FE is expected to come with a 32-megapixel, eight-megapixel and 12-megapixel rear digicam device and a 12-megapixel entrance digital camera. The Galaxy S21, by way of evaluation, has a triple-lens digital camera with a 12-megapixel large, 12-megapixel ultrawide, and sixty four-megapixel telephoto lens with a 10-megapixel selfie digital camera.
that implies the Galaxy S21 FE may also take sharper selfies, however the Galaxy S21 will possible take crisper zoom and ultrawide pictures. It sounds like Samsung desires to provide the pliability that incorporates having three cameras and diverse capturing modes, but may additionally have opted for reduce-resolution sensors to keep the fee down.
The Z Flip three has an eye-catching design and springs in 7 hues See all photographs They could run on the equal processor, however the Galaxy S21 FE may additionally have a bigger battery
One area the place Samsung would not appear to be compromising is in the Galaxy S21 FE's performance. it will reportedly run on Qualcomm's high-end Snapdragon 888 processor, identical to the Galaxy S21, in response to MyFixGuide. That can be a key factor that distinguishes the Galaxy S21 FE from Samsung's other funds telephones, particularly the Galaxy A52 5G, which runs on a less effective Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G 5G chip.
a further grey area, despite the fact, is the volume of RAM Samsung may put within the Galaxy S21 FE. RAM, or random entry reminiscence, is essentially your cell's brief-term storage. It means that you can start correct again into an app and decide on up where you left off with no need to reload, making the journey suppose snappier.
The Galaxy S21 comes with 8GB of RAM, however reports are blended on no matter if the S21 FE will include 8GB or 6GB of RAM. The MyFixGuide file in response to the TENAA record says it will come with 8GB, while the more recent file with details on the stated Google Play Console list shows it is going to have 6GB of RAM.
The design additionally seems akin to the Galaxy S21, but in distinctive shades
just like the Galaxy S21, the Galaxy S21 FE will reportedly have a nearly without borders reveal with a hole punch cutout for the entrance digicam. that's based on leaked renderings claiming to demonstrate the device that have been published by way of Evan Blass, a prolific leaker with an outstanding tune record. there's also a digital camera bump on the again similar to the Galaxy S21.
color selections seem like the leading change between the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 FE when it comes to design, in response to Blass' photographs. He shared photographs of the S21 FE in black, white, eco-friendly and crimson, while the Galaxy S21 comes in red (with a purple digital camera module), grey, white and purple.
should you buy the Galaxy S21 FE?
We can't answer that question until we are trying it -- or at the least have solid particulars about the mobile. but when the rumors are accurate, it sounds like the Galaxy S21 FE could be an excellent fit for those upgrading from an older Samsung cellphone. if you were already due to the fact that waiting for the Galaxy S22 to launch so so you might get the Galaxy S21 at a cheaper fee, the Galaxy S21 FE may be a better option counting on how an awful lot it prices. in accordance with the rumors, it will present smooth performance, a digicam it is plenty able (but no longer as sharp because the Galaxy S21's) and a spacious reveal. but again, that all depends upon how much the Galaxy S21 FE fees and no matter if you will basically be capable of buy it backyard of Europe.

Jumping into an industry with a historically high failure rate at a time when restaurants are facing tremendous headwinds seems like a particularly risky move.

Blogging is an attractive industry for many because it offers an opportunity for self-expression. In addition, there are hardly any barriers to entry. All in all, blogging seems like an easy way to make some money. But reality falls short. Traditionally, blogs rely on advertising revenue to make money. But there are only a limited number of ads that users can click on. This is where the low barrier to entry actually hurts bloggers. With so many blogs and ads, it is difficult for a single blogger to actually generate income. Unless you already have a huge social media follower, are a well-known celebrity, or have a particularly interesting niche, making real money blogging can be difficult.

Similar to blogging, there are very few barriers to entry when you want to start an ecommerce store. However, an ecommerce store has many of the same barriers to profitability as a blog, particularly visibility and competition. If you want to make sales from your ecommerce store, you need to make it known that you are online and available. If your website isn’t showing up in search engine rankings, with luck, no matter how good your products are, you might just get a few sales. Even if customers know you exist, you are competing against countless other sites for price and product quality, including big-name retailers like Costco, Target, and Walmart. You can get some sales of a unique product, but when you are trying to make the big bucks, ecommerce is a very difficult road to go.

Electronics or equipment repair
If you’re good at fixing things, you might consider getting into electronics or equipment repair. After all, things keep breaking all the time, right? Unfortunately, there are a number of headwinds when it comes to being an independent repair person. For starters, electronics and home appliances are getting cheaper and cheaper. When a product is out of warranty, many consumers are more willing to simply buy a new product than pay for a repair, especially if the price difference is not too great. In the American consumer culture, many customers upgrade their devices or electronics every few years, even if they are not broken. The bottom line is that it is becoming increasingly difficult to be successful as a repair professional, especially if you are about to open a new workshop.

Transportation services always seem to be in demand and therefore offer solid business opportunities. Specialty transportation, such as senior citizen rides, can be a viable niche game, but even that would require jumping through government hoops. Overall, the business is difficult for all newcomers, as existing players with established infrastructure dominate the industry.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 impresses, however the OnePlus 9 goes to be a troublesome competitor Samsung possible thought it was safely forward of the pack with the launch of the Galaxy S21. Nevertheless now the OnePlus 9 is right here, the whole lot is once more to play for. Samsung has a trio of well-received flagship telephones within the Galaxy S21 vary. However having accomplished our preliminary overview of the brand new OnePlus telephone, we expect the Galaxy S21 might need met its match with the OnePlus 9.
OnePlus 9 vs  Samsung Galaxy S21 fashions
At its OnePlus 9 launch occasion on March 23, OnePlus took the wraps off two telephones — the usual OnePlus 9 and a barely bigger OnePlus 9 Professional mannequin. Rumors of a decrease price OnePlus 9R proved to be solely half-right. The telephone is in growth, however it's solely imagined to ship in India. Samsung, in distinction, provides three totally different fashions in its S21 lineup. Apart from the usual Galaxy S21, your selections embody a bigger Galaxy S21 Plus and a tricked-out Galaxy S21 Ultra. We'll go away the OnePlus 9 Professional vs. Galaxy S21 Plus comparisons for later. Right now let's largely deal with how the OnePlus 9 compares to the primary Galaxy S21 mannequin.

The flagship telephone begins at $799 — a $200 low cost from the debut worth of final yr's Galaxy S20. For that, you get 128GB of storage; an additional $50 boosts the storage to 256GB. (And chances are you'll want that added capability, as there is no microSD card slot on the S21.) However the OnePlus 9 is even cheaper, with a beginning worth of $729. For $70 much less, you get a telephone with 8GB of reminiscence and 128GB of storage. You may increase the reminiscence and storage to 12GB and 256GB, respectively, although that prices an additional $100 — not $50 prefer it does with the Galaxy S21. OnePlus sells the unlocked handset from its website, and you could find it from different retailers like Amazon additionally. If you would like it with a cell contract, then T-Cellular is the unique provider for the OnePlus 9. - Extra: OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro price — what you'll pay Whereas the OnePlus 9 shall be accessible from a single provider (in addition to a number of retailers in April), the Galaxy S21 is extensively accessible. Every main U.S. provider provides Samsung's telephone.   OnePlus sells the unlocked handset from its website, and you could find it from different retailers like Amazon additionally. Every main U.S. provider provides Samsung's telephone. OnePlus 9 vs. Samsung Galaxy S21 design On the floor, the OnePlus 9 appears an terrible lot just like the Galaxy S21. Each telephones look to have flat shows and like Samsung's handset, the OnePlus 9 contains a sq. digicam array within the higher left nook on the again of the telephone. (It is a departure from the OnePlus 8, the place the rear cameras descended vertically down the middle of the telephone.) Samsung launched a brand new contour lower design with the S21 that higher blends the digicam array with the telephone's body, so we'll see how the OnePlus 9 handles making the digicam array much less outstanding.   One of many methods Samsung stored prices down on the S21 was through the use of plastic supplies for the telephone's case as an alternative of the glass backs discovered on the S21 Plus and Extremely fashions. OnePlus went the same route with the 9, utilizing a fiberglass-reinforced plastic body — aluminum is reserved for the OnePlus 9. You get two colour choices with the OnePlus 9 — Astral Black and Winter Mist. The latter is the extra eye-catching of the 2, with a gradient refraction impact.   We do like the truth that Astral Black does an excellent job repelling fingerprints. The Galaxy S21 provides 4 colours, with violet and pink becoming a member of extra conventional grey and white choices. OnePlus 9 vs. Samsung Galaxy S21: Show The OnePlus 9 provides the larger display screen of those two telephones, with its 6.5-inch panel bigger than the 6.2-inch display screen Samsung contains on the Galaxy S21. (When you go greater, the OnePlus and Samsung telephones are on equal footing, w ith each the OnePlus 9 Professional and S21 Plus that includes 6.7-inch panels.) Samsung gave adaptive shows to its Galaxy S21 lineup, with all three telephones in a position to modify their refresh charge relying on the duty at hand. Actions like scrolling get a sooner refresh charge, whereas the display screen slows all the way down to protect battery life when your actions are extra static. Within the case of the S21, the display screen's refresh charge ranges between 48 Hz all the best way as much as 120 Hz. The OnePlus 9 can even provide a 120Hz refresh charge, which is an improve from the 90Hz charge supplied by the OnePlus 8 final yr. Nevertheless, solely the OnePlus 9 Professional will get an adaptive show; the 9's refresh charge is both 60Hz or 120Hz, and you are the one which units it.   You will get quite a lot of colour out of the OnePlus 9 show, which recreates 199.4% of the sRGB colour spectrum when set in Vivid mode. That percentages tha t drops to 104.1% if you modify the show to Pure, which is according to the 109.2% that the Galaxy S21 reveals off. Colours are a bit of bit extra correct on the OnePlus 9, with a Delta-E score of 0.27 in comparison with 0.29 for the S21. (Numbers nearer to zero are higher.) For those who desire brilliant screens, although, go for the Galaxy S21. It hit 711 nits of brightness on a light-weight meter, simply beating the 696 nits we measured on the OnePlus 9. OnePlus 9 vs. Samsung Galaxy S21 cameras It ought to be arduous for the brand new OnePlus telephones to measure as much as the Galaxy S21, which we expect is without doubt one of the best camera phones you should buy. Even in the event you do not go for the spectacular 108MP principal digicam and twin telephoto lenses on the dearer Galaxy S21 Extremely, the S21 will not disappoint with its digicam {hardware}. You get three lenses — a 12MP principal shooter, 12MP ultrawide angle lens and 64MP telephoto lens. It is that final little bit of optics that really impresses, because the S21 can provide a 3x optical zoom and a 30x digital zoom. A Zoom Lock characteristic helps hold these zoomed-in photographs from getting too blurry and out-of-focus.   In actual fact, software program abilities abound on Samsung's telephones, with the S21 supporting options like an improved Single Take that produces a number of variations of the identical shot with one press of the shutter button. All S21 fashions embody Administrators Mode, which helps you to seize video from a number of cameras on the identical time, permitting you to toggle between angles and even the entrance and rear lenses. And but, the OnePlus 9 cameras impressed us in our assessments. OnePlus has usually come up brief within the digicam division, so credit score to the corporate's partnership with digicam specialist Hasselblad. The 2 companies are working to enhance the digicam expertise on OnePlus telephones, beginning with colour accuracy. It is an effort that is paying early dividends with the OnePlus 9. You get three cameras on the again of the OnePlus 9, although you are free to disregard the devoted monochrome lens. The celebs of the present are the 48MP principal sensor and 50MP ultrawide digicam, each of which took wonderful footage that held up effectively towards prime telephones from Apple and Google. We look ahead to conducting additional assessments for a OnePlus 9 vs. Samsung Galaxy S21 digicam face-off.

OnePlus 9 vs
. Samsung Galaxy S21 efficiency
Flagship telephones from Samsung and OnePlus have a tendency to supply the identical cellular processor, and that is the case right here. Each the OnePlus 9 and Galaxy S21 use Qualcomm's Snapdragon 888 system-on-chip, which helped Samsung flip in a really sturdy efficiency after we examined the S21 in January. (The iPhone 12 household, and its A14 Bionic processor, nonetheless tops our testing, although.) And but, the OnePlus 9 beats the Galaxy S21, which we attribute to the RAM OnePlus contains in its telephone. On Geekbench 5, the OnePlus 9 turned in a multicore rating of three,618, beating the S21's 3,302 consequence. The OnePlus 9 additionally fared higher in our graphics take a look at that includes 3DMark's Wild Life Limitless. Right here, the OnePlus telephone produced a 34.4 frames per second consequence, edging out the 33 FPS rating of the Galaxy S21. It is shut right here, however we give the nod to the OnePlus 9. OnePlus 9 vs. Samsung Galaxy S21 battery life and charging The Galaxy S21 contains a 4,000 mAh battery, however that does not translate sufficient juice to land on our best phone battery life listing. The calls for of a dynamically refreshing show and a 5G drain quite a lot of the ability. In our take a look at, through which we have now telephones surf the online over mobile till they run out of energy, the S21 turned in a below-average time of 9 hours and 53 minutes. We bought that consequence with the display screen set to refresh at 60 Hz. With the dynamic refresh charge turned on, battery life fell by 3 hours. Among the many S21 fashions, solely the Galaxy S21 Extremely and its 5,000 mAh battery actually impressed on our battery take a look at. That is one occasion the place the OnePlus 9 is a clearly superior telephone. It is bought a much bigger battery, at 4,500 mAh, and it places that energy pack to good use. In our battery take a look at, the OnePlus 9 held out for 10 hours and 51 minutes. That is simply shy of the 11-hour mark, which might have made the OnePlus 9 one of many longest-lasting telephones we have examined. Much more spectacular, that point got here with the 120Hz refresh charge turned on. Scaling again to 60Hz, we ran the take a look at once more, and solely noticed a 2-minute enchancment. So OnePlus has found out how you can fight the hit on battery life that comes with a sooner display screen refresh charge. The OnePlus 9's battery dominance extends to charging, too. With OnePlus' WarpCharge 65T know-how, you may refill a battery at lightning pace. After half-hour of charging with the included charger, our drained OnePlus 9 was again to 98%. The Galaxy S21, which helps 25W charging, was again to 55% in that point. And Galaxy homeowners must go on the lookout for a charger, as Samsung does not embody one with the S21. OnePlus 9 vs. Samsung Galaxy S21 outlook The definitive OnePlus 9 vs. Samsung Galaxy S21 verdict should wait till we get to extra completely evaluate the cameras of the 2 telephones. However in different points, the Galaxy S21 has a critical competitor within the type of the OnePlus 9. The brand new OnePlus 9 turns in a sooner efficiency, lasts longer on a cost, and recharges within the blink of a watch. Whereas the OnePlus handset additionally contains a fast-refreshing show, the Galaxy S21 outdoes it with a dynamically adjusting refresh charge. Then once more, the OnePlus 9 additionally provides all these options at a lower cost than Samsung costs for its telephone. Digicam junkies could wish to maintain off on a purchase order, however for the remainder of us, the deck appears fairly stacked within the favor of the OnePlus 9. Read the full article

who has the best phone for under £250? – Which? News
Tumblr media
Looking for a budget smartphone used to leave you saddled with a clunky handset missing several key features, but these days you can get a great phone for less. Two brands in particular have really nailed impressive specs for a small price. Motorola prides itself on value for money, with even its highest-spec handsets failing to break the £400 mark. And while Samsung is best known for its premium Galaxy S and Galaxy Note ranges, it also has several phones for those on tighter budgets in its reasonably priced A series. Read on to find out more about each brand’s latest budget handsets. Or you can go straight to the best phones we’ve tested, and check the best Sim-only and contract phone deals to find the perfect model.
Tumblr media
Motorola and Samsung phones under £150
Let’s start with the truly budget phones. Motorola has more choice if £150 is your absolute limit, but there are some inexpensive offerings from Samsung too. If you pick a phone this cheap, expect slower processors, lower-resolution displays and pared-back cameras. It’s not all bad, though: some phones at this price point outperform premium handsets for battery life. Below we’ve pitted two of the brands’ cheapest phones against each other to see which, on paper, is the better bet. Motorola Moto G10 – £130
Tumblr media
At first glance, we’re impressed with what Motorola’s offering for the money. It comes with four rear cameras, 64GB of storage (32GB is more common at this price) and, helpfully, an IP52 rating. This means it’s protected from dust and splash damage. The 48Mp wide lens on the back is a higher resolution than we’re used to seeing on phones this cheap, and it also has an ultra-wide, macro and depth lens too. There’s a choice of fingerprint or face scanner for unlocking the phone, which should give you flexibility when you’re wearing either a mask or gloves. It’s the cheaper phone in the G range. Spending a little more on the Moto G30 (£160) gets you a higher-spec camera, better processor and more internal storage. Specs don’t tell the whole story, so see what this phone is like to live with by reading our Motorola Moto G10 review.  Samsung Galaxy A02s – £140
Tumblr media
This is about as cheap as it gets if you want a big name on a budget. Don’t expect fancy features though, as this Galaxy is pretty stripped back. It has 32GB of storage (although this can be extended), three rear and one selfie camera, and just a face scanner for unlocking the phone. Samsung claims it’s kitted out this phone with ‘streamlined design aesthetics’, and it does have an impressive screen-to-body ratio for a budget phone, with just a small notch for the front camera, like the Moto G10. You can forgive the lack of add-ons if it’s a great phone, so check how well this phone fared in our tests in our Samsung Galaxy A02s review.  Verdict There’s a lot these phones have in common, from their 6.5-inch low-resolution LCD screens, large 5,000mAh batteries and NFC for making contactless payments – a feature you can’t take for granted when your budget is this low. However, the Motorola has more processing power (4GB of Ram vs Samsung’s 3GB), runs off the latest Android version (the A02s is lagging behind on Android 10) and its four rear cameras offer more versatility than the Samsung’s three. Where the Samsung edges it is on software updates. It benefits from four years of manufacturer security patches from the date of launch, which means you can keep the phone running safely for much longer than the Motorola, which is due to stop receiving support in 21 months. Winner: Motorola Use our phone support calculator to find out if your phone is still getting updates, and how long you could expect a handset to last.
Motorola and Samsung phones under £200
Coming up to the £200 mark should get you a bit more internal storage, slightly more exciting camera setups and processors more capable of giving you a smooth scrolling experience. See which of the two sub-£200 Motorola and Samsung handsets we’ve selected offer the best value on paper. Motorola Moto G9 Power – £160
Tumblr media
The G9 Power comes with an impressive 128GB of storage, which you can even extend if that’s still not enough. The cameras show a clear step up from the sub-£150 phones, with a 64Mp wide lens on the back – a higher resolution than we usually see. The 6.8-inch screen will make it a bit unwieldy for some, but it does mean Motorola can cram in a massive 6,000mAh battery – which should be more than enough to see you through a busy day. See if this large phone ticks all your boxes with brilliant battery life, a stunning display and excellent cameras by reading our Motorola Moto G9 Power review. Samsung Galaxy A41 – £180
Tumblr media
At 6.1 inches it’s much more petite than the Moto G9 Power, but the AMOLED screen packs in more pixels than the Motorola’s LCD. These types of displays usually score brilliantly in our tests, as they show off the colours and contrast in your content beautifully. You get 64GB of storage (although this is extendable), and four cameras in total, including a 48Mp wide-lens main camera on the back, and a 25Mp selfie camera. Samsung’s One UI 2 interface (layered over Android 10) should make it as easy to use as Samsung’s pricier phones. Our Samsung Galaxy A41 review reveals how capable this cheap Samsung really is. If you’re already tempted, find the best contract deals on the A41 at Which? Mobile Switch. Verdict These Android 10 phones both have the same amount of Ram (4GB), but their strengths lie in different areas. The Motorola has more internal storage, a battery nearly twice the size, and a higher-resolution wide-lens rear camera. We have to award it to Samsung, though. It’s amazing to see an OLED screen at this price point (it should give the display a more premium feel) and you’ll get more than three years’ worth of software patches, compared with 18 months for the Moto G9 Power. Winner: Samsung
Motorola and Samsung phones under £250
Upping your budget to £250 brings in some fancier features including, in the case of the handsets below, 5G compatibility. Even if you don’t want a 5G contract straight away, it’s a good choice for futureproofing your phone. The two phones below also offer a little something extra for the money. Read on to see which you should pick based on their specs. Motorola Moto G 5G Plus – £230
Tumblr media
We’ve come to expect big screens from Motorola, so the 6.7-inch display on this phone should come as no surprise. It’s encouraging to see a 90% screen-to-body ratio, which means you can make the most of the vast size for gaming or watching videos on the move. There’s enough room for a large 5,000mAh battery, plus you get a generous 128GB of storage. It’s powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 765 processor, also found on the super-premium Samsung Galaxy S20, and has a decent 6GB of Ram to give it some heft. It’s gone big in the camera department too, with four on the rear (including a 48Mp wide lens) and two for your selfies. We put this phone through our test lab to see how it shapes up to other phones on the market. See our Motorola Moto G 5G plus review for the results. Samsung Galaxy A32 5G – £230
Tumblr media
One of Samsung’s cheapest 5G smartphones, the A32 comes with 64GB of extendable storage, a large LCD screen (6.5 inches) and battery (5,000mAh). The MediaTek Dimensity 720 processor has performed fairly well our tests before, and with 4GB of Ram it should be able to cope with most of your multitasking. It has exactly the same rear camera setup as the Motorola Moto G 5G plus, but one less selfie camera, with just a 13Mp wide lens on the front. To see if it’s one of Samsung’s best, check our full Samsung Galaxy A32 5G review. Verdict It’s great to see 4K video recording on both these phones (a step up from the cheaper handsets) and, of course, 5G compatibility. The Samsung comes equipped with Android 11 and it benefits from a long update policy, so you’ll be able to own it safely for longer. However, if you’re after the best phone for now, it’s hard to argue with the Motorola’s much higher display resolution, extra 2GB of Ram and additional selfie camera. Winner: Motorola
Why it’s important to consider mobile phone security
Tumblr media
If you want a phone that lasts, you’ll need to consider not just how sturdy the hardware is, but how long the software will last too. Security updates are vital for patching up small holes in the software that could, over time, put your data at risk of being hacked. Security update policies vary between brands, andm unfortunately, it’s usually the cheaper brands with the smallest support timescales. Two years is common for brands like Honor, Realme and Xiaomi, vs five years for Apple. Motorola is one of the more transparent of the main smartphone brands on updates. You can clearly see on its website when individual handsets are due to run out of support. However, with just two years of support from launch, you could well run out before the end of a typical two-year contract, and you’d need to upgrade straight away once it finished. Samsung is one of the leading brands for security updates. Even some of its very cheapest handsets, like the Galaxy A02s featured above, will receive four years of updates (although this hasn’t always been the case, with some cheap Samsungs getting just two years). That’s why even though Motorola won two out of three of our heats, if you’re looking for longevity, it’s better to pick a Samsung. Read our guide to phone brands that offer the best security support for more.
Should you buy Sim-free or on a contract?
If price is your main consideration, a Sim-free plan often works out cheapest overall. You’ll need to buy the handset outright (check our best mobile phone deals page for this month’s bargains), though, once set up, your monthly payments should be cheap. You can consider entering into shorter or rolling contracts that offer more flexibility. Contracts charge more per month to make up for the initial cost of the phone. However, they’re a good way of avoiding paying top whack for a premium handset, and they can help to build your credit score – as long as you keep on top of the payments. Just take care to make a note of when the contract ends, as you could end up paying the same amount after the end of the two or three-year period, once the phone is paid off. Our mobile phone contract calculator can help you check how the costs stack up for contracts and Sim-free deals. Use Which? Read the full article

The Morning After – Engadget
The verdict is in for Samsung’s Galaxy S21 series.
