I feel like Evan would see something as simple as seeing her wash her hair as incredibly intimate. It’s the mundane, home life he’s wanted for a long time and this is one of many moments where it hits him how personal these experiences are and how comfortable she is with him.

Harley and Ivy meet Jazz while she's Interning at Arkham, and think she's their daughter from the Future. Somehow.

They're not wrong.

Turns out the Fentons decides to test a Prototype Ghost Portal one day 18 years ago and accidentally made a Time Portal instead. Deeming the experiment a Failure, they were just about to close it and start again when a Baby was launched out of it and into Jack's arms.

The moment he looked into her Eyes he knew he wanted to keep her. Maddie was much the same.

They did Try to return her at first, but turns out the Portal was Unstable and constantly shifting between dozens of different TimeZones, so they could never find where/when she came from. She could either be from Earth 18 years later, or Mars 5 Million Years Ago. No way to tell.

So without any other option they decided that she was their Daughter now.

It helped that she looked so much like them, and that both had been in the Lab for 9 Months straight building the Portal so nobody would question the sudden Baby. They just told the Hospital they had an At Home Delivery and officially made her their Daughter.

They raised her believing that she was their's Biologically, because after a while they honestly forgot she wasn't.

Now Jazz is working as an Intern at Arkham Asylum, and has met the 2 Patients she will be helping take care of.

Doctor Pamela Isley, and Doctor Harleen Quinzel. Aka, Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn.

This should be an interesting internship.

When Eileen or whoever Sam's blurry wife is in a throw away line in a fic is pregnant to show that Sam's happy and doing good it kinda revolts me not gonna lie. We're really putting 2.5 kids on whatever woman shaped object is in Sam's love life? And on Sam for that matter? Who, by the end of the show, expressed zero interest in having a little baby and said he felt fulfilled by hunting, despite its downsides.

One of the reasons Sam and Eileen work well together is that they're both hunters and feel able to lean on each other in that regard, and yet pregnancy or motherhood is often the only thing we hear about Eileen in these cases. She's made into an incubator. Is the only vision of happiness she's allowed becoming Mary from the first minute of the Pilot?

well. for starters, “mesopotamia” could’ve just been a general poetic.

but also could be as simple as… he didn’t.

he has intel on her. and he’s posturing, as usual. because that’s what crowley does.

double entendres and innuendos are his weapons of choice to sow distrust, suspicion, discomfort, derision. to put you off balance, if he can. (and if that fails, he’ll switch to insults or, at worst, incessant goading.)

And the thing is… almost ALL his posturing is sexual. it’s how he wields power (from what traditionally tends to be from a weaker position)

it’s more about how he operates and fergus’s victimhood/ historical demon trauma more than it is a statement of de facto truth

he wants you to read into it

get distracted; get discomfited

just long enough to take your eye off the ball or give him the upper hand in a power struggle

i don’t think sam and dean had sex pre canon (at least consensual), but i do think henriksen’s implication that dean possibly molested sam might just have some truth in it because dean being physically violent toward sam with sam just taking it (and often even urging dean to unleash his anger on him) was shown multiple times throughout the show. like the possibility of sam offering himself as more than just a punching bag isn’t that low

Ridiculously long rant below:

Y'know, something that still kinda pisses me off is in Psychonauts, when Raz goes to Milla and to Lili and tells them that Dogen's brain has been stolen, they reply with, "Oh, Dogen's just like that." I understand it's supposed to be a silly little, "haha, this kid is so airheaded that no one notices when his brain is gone," and I hate it. Raz knew Dogen for less than a day, and had maybe one or two conversations with him (not counting the times you can come across him before his brain is stolen), and he *still* knew Dogen well enough to realize that he was acting off. Milla and Lili have probably had way more interactions with Dogen, and they pass the poor kid off as some brainless dolt. Like, I'm not *as* mad at Lili, cuz she's kind of a mean, angsty pre-teen that would rather be anywhere except that camp, but Milla's got a past in childcare. Even if she does genuinely believe that Dogen is spacey enough to be on the same level as a brainless body, she should've at least said that she would go check on Dogen after the Levitation training, even if it was just to ease Raz's concerns.

And then, in Psychonauts 2, neither Sam nor Comtpon had very nice reactions to learning that Raz knows Dogen. Sam remarks that Raz's head looks "remarkably unexploded," amd then proceeds to state that Dogen only blows up people that deserve it, which implies both that Sam doesn't think Dogen can become friends with someone *without* blowing up their heads, and that if/when he *does* blow people up, it is intentional and/or the fault of the person. Compton, upon hearing Raz saying he knows Dogen, immediately panics and assumes that Dogen has had another incident. Granted, he *does* believe Raz when he says that Dogen hasn't had another incident, but it's sad that he can't hear about Dogen without assuming that the boy has done something.

Now, I'm not gonna rant about all that and completely ignore Dogen's behavior. He *is* pretty spacey, he's admitted to blowing up a few people, and he intentionally blew up the squirrels over a misunderstanding. He's very prone to getting stressed out and overwhelmed, and he's been isolated by his family for who knows how long, and yet he still tries. He wants to make connections and have friends. He wants to have control over his powers, he *wants* to be a normal kid. He's not perfect, but he's not a monster. And he's *certainly* not dumb enough or spacey enough to be considered on par with people that have had their brains removed.

Tldr - Dogen deserves better, and if we ever get another installment of Psychonauts, I want to see him come back. I need more positive interactions between him and Raz.
