Thank you all for voting! Some results are exactly what I expected but quite a few were confusing to me. Sometimes I wish I knew why people voted the way they did. Also, just for the record, I did randomize these. None of these pairings were planned.

Now for something important I'm going to say before things get too bad.

I've seen a few heated replies that are getting too close to aggressive for my taste. Guys, this is for fun. There are no real world consequences to the result of this poll bracket. If I believe someone is getting too aggressive or insulting towards other voters (or me), I will block. I don't want any true negativity here and if preventing some people from interacting keeps peace, I will do it. You all are free to try and convince others to vote the way you want, but keep it civil.

ok time for my monthly sakamichi shizoposting. first of all the hinatazaka tripleS accusations pissed me off so bad like no one stanning flopS and their snoozer ass song + gee/heartshaker blue jeans white shirt situation all over again + THEY stole sakamichi entire concept in the first place so??? however i just saw the mv and why is it actually giving kpop big time 💀 they fell of big time forreal, the song is actually in the upper tier of their recent releases but 4th gen + mass graduation really put a nail in that coffin. they used to be getting numberssss like what happened. PLUS shogenji is fucking fugly, i guess i am simply not japanese enough to understand the sentiment behind management's center choices. like. her? really? i guess whats pissing me off is that her face is 10000% keyaki/sakura coded, we kinda needed her to be the next techi (because morita and ten and whoever the fuck else did not live up. also the sakura new gen nugus like its even more overer for them). and actually now that im thinking about it hono kinda belonged in hinata too, matter of fact matsurina, MATTER OF FACT matsurina couldve been the next oshima yuko if managment locked in. It was difficult deciding between Ria and Hinano design. Both of them are really good.

Every time I look at Chika and Natsuki, I find something new in their designs. I honestly pity you for having to draw all of those tiny details lol.

Tart and Sayuki should switch outfits. Or, I would at least like to see Tart with Sayuki's hat.

Rika and Ren are perfect for eachother, and Rika's MSS is just super well written, as is Ren's! They both deal with serious topics like suicide, self harm and growing up gay super good! Shizuka is also just an awesome character and I hope we continue to see more of her in Arc 2

Karin and Alina’s relationship is so complex! It’s a long shot but I hope we maybe have a confrontation between the two in the anime

Choosing between Sakura and Moka was hard!

Even if a character's design is busier, if their theme is more easily identifiable, I still prefer it myself. (Even though Mayu's 'paintbrush/painter' theme is more prevalent, Hazuki's design ties her to the Azalea crew, so even though I can't tell what the overall theme of the group is, a consistent design across three girls is more interesting to me than a singular one.)

It’s so hard to see Yachiyo and Sana go against eachother, but I’ve given it to Yachiyo every round so far so I’m going to keep up the fight!
