1. ♥ Do they seek out love or let it find them? Are they even interested in romance?

Saimon isn’t at the point in his life where he’s actively seeking romance, and if asked before meeting a person he feels a connection with he’d deny being interested in romancing anyone else. He believed if life wanted to offer him up a second chance he’d consider it in the moment, but it’s hardly the first thing in his mind to be concerned about. He had a wonderful marriage and a wonderful wife, something many people couldn’t say, so he didn’t feel any desperation to find another partner.

2. ♥ When they have a crush on someone, how do they let them know?

His flirtation is subtle, hidden beneath compliments that appear standard on the surface but are much deeper than you could first assume. They’re also very natural, said smoothly no matter how nervous he might be. It’s been a long time since he’s flirted and he worried he wasn’t doing it right when you didn’t respond in a way that clarified how you felt about his words; you both just confused each other until finally a direct confession occurred that left no room for doubt.

10. ♥ Do they include their partners in most aspects of their life?

If you wanted to be involved, yes. He does enjoy telling you stories about his classes and students as they really could make his day more interesting, but he’s a little more cautious in regards to his music career. He doesn’t want you to worry about him when he has his trap reactions as performing and creating music with the others is something he loved, but he couldn’t say that seeing your face in the crowd wouldn’t be the highlight of his night, either.

11. ♥ Do they make an effort to find someone with similar views, be they political or moral?

He’d like a partner who he had something in common with, but they wouldn’t have to agree on every single thing. You were allowed to have your own tastes as long as you respected his, and he always found it fascinating to hear the opinions of someone who lived a different life from him. Being a professor meant he was exposed to all sorts of ideologies and different ideas, so he wouldn’t be thrown off from having a partner with a point of view he might not have ever considered.

15. ♥ Do they enjoy talking to their partners before going to sleep or is it straight to dreamland?

Saimon enjoyed talking to you before bed, and you enjoyed talking to him even more. His voice was so deep and calm that it immediately set you at ease, the perfect lullaby as you talked about any topic that came to mind. He’s flattered that you love his voice that much, trying to come up with things to talk about just so there’s never any silence before bed.
