Okay, so...

For sh!ts and giggles I decided to check the voice actors of Tdb characters for any I recognize and decided to start with Jabberwock first just because and didn't recognize any from Haru and Towa...then I went to Ren.

And I thought to myself "Hmm...Shoya Chiba. Why does that name sound familiar?" And then I effing realize-

REN AND ROKUTA SHARE THE SAME EFFING VOICE ACTOR!!!!!!!!!

Could you draw Rokuta Kamado hugging Tamayo please? It is for an au where Rokuta lives but Tanjiro dies in the first chapter, the sibling kamado are adopted by Tamayo and it is an au of the found family

Wait I actually love this au! I think I’ve had a similar idea for an au like this before but please elaborate on this I’m very interested!! (I’m a sucker for found family)

Yeah, so obviously I already have a "Demon Slayer" au ebxnsbz Look, I don't like tragedies, so there are A LOT of things I don't like in "Demon Slayer", specially how ALL OF THE COOL CHARACTERS DIE!!!!!!!! So I made this au where no one dies :) Everything is beautiful :)

So, here's how things went down:

- The reason why their family didn't get killed was because Nezuko was not attacked at home; she went a few meters out of the house at night 'cause she was worried about Tanjiro not coming back home at the end of the day and felt like something was wrong, so she went to check if he was out there and got attacked right at the edge of the forest, so none of her family members noticed 'cause they were all asleep;

- Tanjiro left Saburo's house right at sunrise 'cause he knew his family would be worried and he wanted to get there before they all woke up, but he saw Nezuko unconscious on the snow and immediately went to get help for her, then found out she turned into a demon, and the confrontation with Giyu happened, and Tanjiro didn't want to risk Nezuko accidentally hurting their family members, so he leaves with her and doesn't say anything to his family 'cause he thought it would be harder on them if they knew about Nezuko and promised himself he would come back once Nezuko was human again;

- he went to train to become a demon slayer, Nezuko fell into a coma, they start going on missons together, meet the Hashira and all that and he didn't hear anything about his family for over 2 years, until one day he's given the mission to go to this small town that was suffering from multiple demon attacks, and that town happened to be his and Nezuko's hometown;

- he was very worried about his family when he heard the news, so he decided to check on them first things first, just make sure that they were okay and then leave without them even noticing he was there, but when Nezuko saw them he couldn't stop her from going to them, so they ended up reunited with their family way sooner than Tanjiro was expecting;

- they took Nezuko being a demon as well as they could have taken it, they were worried, but they loved her, so it didn't really matter. Besides, she was being spoiled 24/7 'cause they liked having an excuse to treat her like a baby and she loves it;

- Tanjiro decided to stay for a while, 'cause then he would be close to the town where the demon attacks were happening and he could get there quickly if he needed and he could make sure their family was okay;

- later they find out that the reason why the town was under so many attacks was becauze Muzan was looking for Tanjiro and Nezuko's family, he knew that Nezuko was getting stronger everyday despite the odds and he wanted her to be on his side, but thought she was already "too domesticated", so he wanted to turn his family because if they shared her blood there was a possibility that they could become as strong as her as demons, so the Hashira helped realocate the family and they all moved to the butterfly mansion until it was safe for them to return home.

About their appearences: Hanako and Takeo's hair look different then it does in canon 'cause I tried to age them up a bit, I couldn't think of anything to do about Rokuta and Shigeru besides making them look taller, also because I imagine Takeo and Hanako kind of "taking over" Tanjiro's and Nezuko's roles after they left since they were the two oldest ones now, and I gave them a lot of narrative importance in my au. Kie also looks way older, but her original design looks just Nezuko's, like, she doesn't seem old enough to be a mom sbxmsnxn and that was really bugging me so I added the little wrinkles; besides, even if she was a really young mom, by the time Tanjiro was 15 she would be AT LEAST entering her thirties, not to mention the stress, so she would be at least starting to get some wrinkles. And absolutely NOTHING can convince me that Nezuko wouldn't be clingest person alive with Kie, she got attached to Tamayo just because she reminded her of Kie, so, yeah, she's a total baby with her (affectionate).
