i proudly write for all readers, nonny! and I'm gonna assume this about about trad!goth, but I'll try and make sure this applies to most goth subcultures!

Cullen Clan x Goth!Fem!S/O

Carlisle Cullen

He's confused but supportive. Back in his day, the term 'goth' only applied to the people who sacked Rome, which he'll remind you of regularly, especially if you're visiting the Volturi (who will also assume that you are directly connected to the ancient Goths, and would fear you as a result).

He'd be interested in your genealogy, because he thinks you're connection to the goth style can't be mere coincidence or personal choice, and it wouldn't be difficult to find out either, all he'd have to do is check if you have any Germanic ancestry from the last 2000 years.

Esme Cullen

If you're happy and comfortable, she's happy and comfortable. While it probably isn't her style personally, she's quick to see the benefits. For instance, black is a very easy colour to maintain, particularly with regards to cleaning.

Her only concern is getting you clothes other than black so that you can have something to wear to events that may require specific colours, like if you two are guests at a wedding (she wouldn't want you wearing black as it's bad luck for the couple).

Edward Cullen

Edward himself is basically a diet-corporate goth, so dating you will probably help him develop his own sense of comfort in the style.

The two of you are regularly seen brooding in the Forks CVS, loitering around the hair dye section, silently terrifying all of the elderly people waiting at the pharmacy.

Edward is likely already very familiar with goth music, has absolutely been to some Bauhaus concerts in his time, and probably has a respectable collection of gothic rock records in his room.

Rosalie Hale

It'll be like a Barbie/Oppenheimer-esque clash in aesthetics. I personally see Rosalie with a very Y2K aesthetic, so the two of you walking down the street together might turn some heads.

That doesn't mean that she isn't fully supportive of your style though, and appreciates the philosophy of the aesthetic, how it's a style built on defying expectations of conformity and obedience. In her short life, all Rosalie knew was to dress properly, smile, be open, happy, a willing host, an amusing guest. In death, she's proud to be herself, and even prouder to be with someone so comfortable with dressing exactly how they want, regardless of what others might think.

Emmett Cullen

You dress scary and Emmett loves it. He has regularly compared you to a venomous snake, your black clothes and aggressive makeup mean that almost everyone in Forks steers clear of you. But not Emmett, he's never had the survival instincts to stay away from things that could kill him, in fact, your "unapproachable" style only drew him in more.

Absolutely loves wandering around Forks with you, even if you aren't particularly doing anything. He thinks it's hilarious that some people cross the street to avoid you, it's like having 'scary dog' privileges.

Alice Cullen

She'd seen you in her visions for some time, but she almost didn't recognise you when you started dressing strangely and wearing heavy makeup. At first, it disturbed her, you looked like the sleep-paralysis demons that used to haunt her in the asylum.

Once she gets the chance to meet you in real life, that fear quickly subsides. Through your relationship, Alice learns how much of a safe space goth society can be, and that she can rely on other goths to not be judgemental towards her like so many others are.

Jasper Hale

Greatly appreciates the Victorian-era elements that are incorporated into your clothes, it helps him feel less old. You'll make his day if you show any interest in his clothes and jewellery that he had in life, particularly the more morbid pieces (such as the ring made out of his mother's hair).

If you're looking particularly historical, he'll love to get in his original clothes from when he was alive (except the ""uniform"" that shan't be mentioned), and stroll about Forks with you, arm in arm, like a true Southern gentleman.

Type: Sorta angsty with a dabble fluff

Masterlist

  I lay on the ground in agony, pieces of glass scattered around me. The vampire, not one I know, is standing above me wiping the blood from his mouth. My blood! The pain suddenly hit causing me to groan, a fire sensation shot through my body. The vampire bent down to touch my face, I tried to pull away but I couldn’t. He leaned down and whispered in my ear. 

   I couldn’t understand what he said, the pain was unbearable. All I want is for the pain to stop. Another agonizing shot of pain runs through my body.

  “Please…” I begged for him to make the pain stop, to do something. He shook his head no.

  “ Sorry sweetheart, but a lesson needs to be taught.” Confusion filled my brain. ‘ Why was I being punished?’ ‘Did Jasper get into trouble and not tell me?’ While questions raced through my head another vampire joined him in the room. She looked down at me and smirked, she motioned something and then they both jumped out of the window. I layed on the floor still, I couldn’t move or more pain would shoot through my body. It felt like I layed there for hours on end, in reality it was 30 minutes. I heard the front door of my house open and then shut. Someone was yelling my name. 

  I tried to scream for help but all that was able to be released was a strangled cry. Footsteps grew quickly and louder, he wasn’t alone, someone was with him. My bedroom door flew open with so much force that it almost blew it off the hinges. They rushed over to my side. I opened my eyes and looked at who was standing there, it was Alice, Jasper and Carlisle.

  “Make it stop please, It hurts!” I beg. Carlisle was quick to get down by my side and the others followed, he turns my head and see the bite mark, which was slowly healing.

  “ We are too late, she will transform soon.” He spoke “The venom has already entered her blood stream and started to take over. The best thing we can do is stay with her.” His voice was calm and serious.

  “There has to be something we can do, right?” Jasper spoke, Carlisle shook his head no, nothing could be done. I close my eyes again, too weak to speak. I felt a cold hand grip mine and I heard footsteps leave the room, most likely giving me and Jasper space. Cold lips connected with my forehead.

  “I’m sorry darlin’, I love you and now we can be together forever, nothing will bring us apart.” His voice shook, if he could cry he would. A strangled groan leaves my mouth and that’s the last thing I remember. 

   I woke up in the Cullen family home. I could tell that it was Jasper's room by the dark sage green walls, the color we picked together. I get up and look in the mirror, to see that I was changed into a black dress, I gasp. My eyes are red and my skin is cold and pale. I open the door and walk down the stairs to the living room where everyone was sitting. Most looked solem and others looked worried. Alice was the first one to notice me standing there. 

  “Y/n? You’re finally awake.” She said, excitement filled her voice. Everyone turned and looked at me, I just stood there and nodded, not knowing what to say. Jasper rose from his place on the couch and rushed over to me. He wrapped me in an almost bone crushing hug.

Note: I did not mean to enter the fight as Scholar, I mainly went in so she can analyze all of Vide's units for weaknesses but ended up winning anyway. Ideally, you would use her Latent + Analyze to uncover all weaknesses, throw the fight, then go back in as Arcanist. Just use a class that can use staves, as hitting those becomes important later on.

So, to start: while at least 2 of your units should be built to deal damage, the rest of them should be built to survive as long as possible without divine skills because Vide seals them away until later on in the fight. Ideally, every one of your units should have more than 5,000HP and at least 600 for each defense stat. This can be achieved through items and skills. I don't advise trying to grind Nuts for these as they have low drop chances. The only characters that didn't have more than 600 in their defensive stats were Hikari and Throné, as their builds focused solely on damage output.

When Octotheon Seal does begin to weaken, the order in which the gods' skills are released is random. However, they are released in in pairs:

Bifelgan and Draefendi

Alephan and Brand

Sealticge and Aeber

Dohter and Aelfric

Of course, ideally the ones you want released are Sealticge, Aeber, and the healers' first. But I was able to clear the fight even with genuinely the worst luck when it came to release order thankfully!

For this fight, my main damage dealers were Hikari (Warrior/Armsmaster) and Throné (Thief/Merchant). Because Aeber's Reckoning was locked for most of the fight, the way I had her deal damage was by using her Latent, Disguising herself as Hikari, then using Lionheart's Axe. Don't use any BP for Disguise as you want this to wear off ASAP, as Throné's secondary role in the fight was to help break Vide's adds or cast Veil of Darkness to force the adds' attacks to miss.

My main healers/support for the fight were Osvald (Scholar/Cleric), Temenos (Cleric/Merchant), and Ochette (Hunter/Merchant). Osvald has the Stone of Truth to heal everyone without spending money, while Temenos later on in the fight can use AOE Prayer for Plenty when the Octotheon Seal weakens. 

Keeping Ochette alive and stocked on BP is crucial as the only way to negate the Waves of Nothingness debuffs or similar is to roll Opulent Restorative on the Chubby Cait summon, so definitely capture one if you don't have it. Luckily, I don't think the Cait skills' chances are weighted? So you have an equal chance of rolling either of the three, but what you want most are Opulent Restorative and Lap of Luxury. 

Hired Help is to be used either to heal using the assassins or in later phases of the fight, to hit Vide's new staff weakness and delay his turn. My main breakers for the initial phase of the fight were Hikari with single-target attacks and Castti with single-target concocts, as Vide and his adds always have a weakness in the non-Scholar magic category (Wind, Light, and Dark). But later on, Ochette's summons and Hired Help can be used to reduce shield points as you're no longer punished by using AOE physicals.

As of right now, my last piece of advice would be to go into this knowing that it's a longer but somewhat less punishing/exact than the True Vide fight. Bring enough money for Hired Help to sustain yourself over Vide's 1,800,000HP total (he heals later on) and enough concoct materials for Castti—specifically, her magical concocts for Wind, Light, and Dark.

Also do note that this build probably isn't the best (I mean I went in with Scholar Agnea on accident) but it's what worked for me, and won me the fight on my second real attempt. That's all I got for right now, good luck and feel free to send an ask if there are any questions!
