Moonlight Mystique's intro song, "Flowers Fall With No Trace", is absolutely gorgeous. Sa DingDing's voice is out of this world. The way it slowly builds up until she starts the fast pace verse... I could listen to it all day.

I should make a Mandopop playlist...

Hi. :) I'm not sure if it's right question to ask here, but I think it's related to Kokia enough, so maybe you will know the answer, because I tried to find any info and failed... :( It's about song "Hoshi no Keiji" to that chinese game "Shan Hai Jing Hua". I know Kokia sung both japanese and chinese version, but there is also chinese version with vocal by Sa Dingding... Do you maybe know why? I can't find why they recorded also version with Sa Dingding on vocal. If you don't know, it's fine. ;)
Hello, and thank you for your question!
I was actually unaware of a different version of Hoshi no Keiji, so that's something new I learnt! I have been looking around, but unfortunately, from the sources I can find and read, I cannot find an explanation for a version by Sa Dingding. I did find what looked like an official channel for the game uploading her version, but again without any sort of disclaimer or explanation.
I am almost tempted to say they asked a Chinese singer to also perform the song because the game is Chinese, but that is purely my own guess.
I hope it's okay for me to publish your question, so maybe someone else can chime in with the definite answer!

The Blue Whisper 與君初相識
I've finally decided to move this one up my endless watch list, for Xiao ShùnYáo.
I just finished the first part and am actually enjoying it more than expected. I don't care for the leads but they don't bother me either.

Unsurprisingly I like YáoYao's character a lot.

I'm in love with Sa Dingding's OST for "The Starry Love". Such a gorgeous song! That scene with the bridge is so beautiful!

FUCK NO THEY PRIVATED THE Sa Ding Ding (萨顶顶) - New song (Live at Albert Hall) VIDEO WHAT THE FUCK
I used to be OBSESSED with this as a 9 y/o I would ask my dad to put it on on his computer and replay it like 5 times before he was like "don't you wanna watch something else maybe?". This exact video in 240p with horrible sound quality is a core memory of my childhood and possibly my earliest experience with youtube, along with the horse racing erhu piece performed by some elderly woman. I used to be really into Chinese music as a kid, and not being able to access this anymore actually makes me really sad. I can't tell if the owner privated it over legal issues as it was quite literally just the whole performance taped or if it's a youtube thing, but it makes me sad either way.
The only solace I find is the fact that both this
youtube
and this
youtube
video are still alive (haha) and well.

— a thousand lifetimes
The day the teacher decided to make you and him seat partners, was the day your fate was tied to him. He thought back to the memory, when you were just children. You had been reading some story book when he quietly spoke, “We should get married when we’re older.” He didn’t fully know how marriages worked, but knew enough to ask you to marry him. He knew when people loved each other, they married each other, kissed each other and held hands. You already do that, except your kisses were usually on his cheek, not on the lips like he had seen his parents do. But a kiss was a kiss right? And he loved you and you loved him. He was sure of it. Why else would he want to give his strawberry milk to you everyday? Why else would you share your favourite food with him. Yes. This was right, you and him should be married when you’re older.
You looked at him, and simply said “Sure!”, nothing wrong with marrying each other, he was your best friend. And he smiled, going back to reading his own book.
That summer when you moved away, he made you pinky promise that you’d get married and that you’ll not forget him.
But growing up, all that became a distant memory, you got busy with your life. But him? You were his first thought, his lifeline. As he turned older, he hadn’t really forgotten about you, he tracked you down. It started off as watching you from afar, until he couldn’t anymore.
And now as he stares at you walking down the aisle, he knows that he has you once more. For you it was just an arrange marriage. For him? Oh he arranged this marriage, this sacred binding, for you to be his forever. This was fated, meant to be, he made sure of it, he entwined the threads of your fates together just for extra measure. In this lifetime, in another and in a thousand more, you were his fate. You were deeply engraved into his soul. And as you stood in front of your to-be-husband, you had heard of the unfeeling man, you had expected cold glances and ignorance. What you did not expect was him resting his forehead against yours, a content smile on his face, “Did you forget our promise, my love?”

Left hand points to the moon, right hand takes the red thread / Granting you and me the destined connection - Upwards to the Moon // Sa Dingding
featuring: Nanami Kento, Sukuna Ryomen, Gojo Satoru (JJK), Sylus, Rafayel, Xavier, Zayne (L&DS) + your favs!
a/n: wrote this based off of my best friend’s real life experience where her and her seat partner had agreed to marry each other when they would get older. (she then proceeded to have a crush on him for 7 years- relatable but okay)
