So. After the ddos attack on ao3.

I was encouraged to write more comments and make my love known to fanfic writers.

I dont really like commenting. Because im a bit shy and soooo lazy.

Now though. I am writing more comments. And dude. This is so heartwarming. Ya'll need to treat writers better. They are doing the lord's work.

Take for an example, couple of days prior, i was searching for something interesting to read, and found an oneshot quite compelling.

I read it. At the end of it, i was blown away by how good it was. It promised me something and it went beyond my expectations. But then i saw a crime, zero fucking comments!

At that moment, i wasn't feeling up to writing a comment. Because, normally i like to write huge paragraphs. But because im lazy i decided to be brief.

Next day, the author answered that the comment lift their mood for the whole day.

That warmed my heart.

Duuuuuuuude! Write comments! Suport the writers of the fics you like! No need to be something super elaborate. Just give your thoughts. Freak out. Ramble. Ask something. Make theories. Compliment. Make a joke about how you wished to give kudos every chapter but ao3 sucks(not true bby) and won't let you.

Truly. Just. Comment. It can make someone's day. And that is part of the apeal of writing fics. Interacting with people.

Just give love to fanfic writers yall. They deserve this and so much more.

Creepypasta is a guilty pleasure of mine, especially the older creepypastas from the early 2010s and how corny and formulaic they are(the lost episodes are my all time fave), such nostalgia❤ and I hc that Seth also likes creepypasta or at least had a creepypasta phase when he was a kid. So could we get some seth w an s/o whose a creepypasta fan(maybe also autistic?), and regularly indulges in their interest w them, letting them infodump on their favorite pastas and reading/watching their faves w them ?

I had a slight creepypasta phase but never got REALLY into it, but I did read comics when younger.

I can def see him w a creepypasta phase. So when you told him it was your special interest, it turned into a 3 hour conversation.

It's a real fun conversation when you guys compared theories with the creepypasta's.

You both have fallen for the I eat Pasta for Breakfast comic. When rereading it when older the both of you were so, so concerned bc wtf was that.

Since you have a favorite character, Seth does let you just infodump on him about them. He really likes when you tell him something Seth didn't know about that character.

Like Ticci Toby's love for waffles was a joke by his creator and it just spiral.

Also the annoyance about people trying to give too much hcs to the creepypasta characters. Like idk if you wanna be with Jeff because uuhh he kinda....hhmm

Idk if Seth would have a fav creepypasta bc he def did have a phase but more into cryptic's

Seth is interested on the whole Slender mansion thing bc that tall fuck is def using them.

HATES that fucking Offenderman. Hope he dies.

But there are creepypasta that stories are sad like Sally's. Along with Ticci Toby and other Creepypasta character's.

When you find new information on your favorite character you usually text Seth when you find it.

Loves watchign video's and listening to audio's about the creepypasta's. If you like making comments during it he'll indulge and add his own.

If not he'll sit there and listen but if he does have a question he'll pause so he doesn't speak over the video/audio

Once you asked if you want to read one of the fanfic's for creepypasta and critique it, BC sometime's the writer's just be putting anything. (I should now I read a lot of them. Yes I was THAT deep into it but never really read anything about them-)

Seth really loves how you add him to your special interest. 100% supports you with your creepypasta love.

Since everyone is creating a playlist for hb:l, I just want you guys to add the song "Iris" by: The Goo Goo Dolls. I imagine that its just screams how Rafe's must've felt during him and the reader(us) their rs and even their post-breakup period. We all know that Rafe is so down bad for the reader (even if he fvcked it up it can't be denied) and the song "Iris" just described it too well.

"And I'd give up forever to touch you. 'Cause I know that you feel me somehow."

This shows how much Rafe's enjoys the reader's company—he'd give up forever to TOUCH her! Because the reader gave Rafe so much comfort, calmness, peace, and so much love that he is willing to skip practices to be with her, build a home and family with her, bond with her, and many other things that we're not yet well aware of.

The rest of the lyrics speaks for itself already so it doesn't need much of explanation. I could literally imagine Rafe screaming his lungs out singing "Iris" while being messily drunk and have a swollen eyes. Screaming, hoping that the reader will hear him and would understand how much he loves her more than a word or a music could describe.

(But still, he fvcks it up, they always will. lol)

Anw, Zya, your writing skills and editing skills is a chef's kiss🤌. You always know how to cook and serve us the most heart-wrenching and well-written stories and smaus. Ok, quick question, do you have an idea for how long you want Love Letter to be? Because I genuinely need a vague idea of how long it's going to be until the comfort because IM DYING. I NEED A RESOLUTION, PLEASE. YOU DONT EVEN HAVE TO TELL ME WHAT YOU'VE PLANNED OR ANYTHING, JUST AN APPROXIMATE ESTIMATE FOR HOW MANY CHAPTERS THE FIC WILL BE. I don't usually read stuff this gruesome, so I'm like suffering right now because of my own dumbassness because I need a happy ending. I'm slowly dying from the suspense. I eat your content up every time, and like out of the maybe 4 or 5 fics you recently have made on the saiouma tag, I've only recently realized you wrote them all. YOU WERE LITERALLY THE SAME PERSON AND I WAS JUST SHOCKED. (How are they pumping these out left and right?? What type of stuff do they think about to come up with this stuff? How do they stay so serious when writing?)<- genuine thoughts I had a few weeks ago. ANYWAYS, keep up the good work. Hi sorry! I would have answered this much sooner, but I got stuck in an Uno game that lasted for over an hour. BUT I'm finally free (⁠ﾉ⁠◕⁠ヮ⁠◕⁠)⁠ﾉ⁠*⁠.⁠✧

I'm expecting Love Letter to be at least 20 chapters or so. There will be two more nighttime segment chapters (Shuichi's pov), and the rest will be the daytime segments with Kokichi and Maki. We're nearing the end of this arc, and after that, the recovery will start. I won't give away too much, but we're drawing ever closer! ^_^ As for an estimate until the recovery chapters... I'd say at least 7 or 8...? Maybe?? I don't have the last few days planned out chapter-wise, so we'll have to see for that one ;o; it's at least over 5

If you can't stomach the gruesome bits, I really don't recommend reading the fic (⁠｡⁠ŏ⁠﹏⁠ŏ⁠) at least not the nighttime segments. Don't force yourself to read anything that makes you uncomfortable or ill!!

Ever since I was little, I enjoyed the darker parts of fiction. I enjoy whump especially :p so I'm always thinking about different whump tropes and applying them to my favs. I also take a lot of inspiration from music and games-- M5DP was born between my replaying Your Turn To Die and an event that happened in a roleplay between me and my gf. The base idea for Fever Frost was born from the third Wings of Fire book, and reinforced with Kitchen Fork by Jack Conte. Impermanent Attachment happened because I found it funny to give Shuichi a gun, but also mostly because I had a Komahina timeloop fic I wanted to write for ao3 and just never got the confidence to at the time. (If anyone wants me to go more in depth with how I put these fics together, just ask. I have lots of notes o_O) I'm ALWAYS thinking and having ideas ^_^ trust me i would have way more fics up if i came to ao3 with the confidence to post my mer / vampire / dragons fics

? Honestly I'm not sure what this means, sorry QwQ I've been writing since my hands could touch a keyboard. I submitted a Pokémon fanfic for one of my 1st grade creative writing assignments. I take every story as seriously as the writer wants me to, and in the case of my own fics, there are some parts where the tone is serious and some parts where it's just like "wtf is going on". That "two late!" joke in Love Letter wasn't planned at ALL, it only happened because the idea made me giggle ;P

Anyhow, thank you!! Dread is a good emotion to have when it comes to Love Letter updates <3 /j I PROMISE the comfort will come. I cannot physically handle an unhappy ending,, or at the very least a hopeful one xD

Yaknow i looked you up on here (like ur blog, i was searchin for you at the time) and i saw a lot of hate about the fact you write for matt, chris and nick and yeah i get that they were uncomfortable when they saw fanfic's of them in that light but they went looking for it knowing (as people had warned them that they wouldnt like what they saw i believe) that it wouldnt be something they would like, its just baffling that people are hating you for something that was and still is being written, like people we get it they dont like whats being made in their image but their never going to find it at all if they dont go looking for it and if they do go looking for it then they have some problems, its literally fanfiction it's not real and some of the scenarios out there never will be.

it's like you don't have the right to judge someone on what they right, sometimes I don't like what people write in their fics but I don't send hate to them and also the bernardbendystraw bitch also tried to say I was sending hate to her inbox on a separate account when why the fuck would I want to do that when I never do such a thing

if I have a problem with someone I'm going to say it to you not anonymously but publicly and it's just like that, and plus she wanted me to apologize for writing what I was writing and also wanted me to apologize for the hate in her inbox when just like my supporters was hating on her people, her supporters were sending me death threats and hate

and I sadly did apologize and delete my work but with what I know now I would've kept it up and told that bitch to cry about it, and now I have like 80+ accounts blocked since they continue to hate on me

I was thinking about this a little earlier this week like why did I even back down but at least my fav fic writer @untilwedont was supporting me so that's a plus to it all but if I could go back in time I would've drag that hoe through the mud fr fr

3. Describe the creative process of writing a chapter/fic

Oh I’m a mess. I have so many docs opened with scenes, outlines and stuff… I write stuff as they come to me because if I don’t I’ll forget. I wrote a dialogue while still in bed this morning because it was giving me the feelings and I was afraid to loose it if I left my bed. But, when the main ideas are set, I try to outline each chapters with the main scenes I want in them, usually I outline the first and last before filling the gaps in the middle. And then, I just start writing. Whenever I feel the block, I open a new document and write a scene that actually flows until I can come back to the main doc.

Long story short I’m a chaotic writer. I write while watching TV, I write at work, I write in my bed. And I reread everything a thousand times.

12. How does receiving or not receiving feedback/support impact you?

I would love to tell you that I write for myself and don’t care about what people think, but that would be a lie. I love getting feedback. I love receiving comments, I love reading how excited people are over the stuff I write. It makes me feel good about myself for the first time in years. I was so sure I was done for creative stuff when Covid hit and I was just not capable of writing anything when everyone else was soooo productive… My self esteem was so low at that point, that I’m not even ashamed of saying that I write and post my stories because it feels good to receive feedback.

So please guys, comment on the fics you read. Even if it’s nothing groundbreaking, not all of us are going to post Slow Show, alright, but please, comment, give us our bread!!

No one has problems admitting Oboro was racist. Or at least I haven't seen it

If you're that bothered by people pointing out the character who has an entire race of people listed under her dislikes is racist, you might need to rethink some things

Related note: Let fanfic writers call her out if they want to

While I like Ingrid for genuinely having a support where she corrects her behavior, the fact remains, yes she is. Or xenophobic at the very least.

And fanfic is-or should be-purely for creative output, not a declaration of "I think *my* interpretation is right, and everyone should follow" and both the author and consumer should respect that.

If people wanna call Ingrid out in their fanfic, that is their right, as well as it's the right for the audience to react a certain way. What masters most is not letting personal attatchments to the characters get in the way of reasonability and understanding of why others may feel how they feel about your favs, cuz then you eventually get Mr. Block Evader who takes any and every slight against 3H's writing as an attack on his character, for example lol.
