a soft brush of the backs of knuckles atop skin - a refined cheekbone, traced with touch. volgin's gaze follows his own movement, watches for the breaths of the other - ears pricked for a moan, his own lips eager for a taste. his touch is surprisingly soft and yet the scars of his hands would not go unnoticed. old traces of pain carved into the stony skin of a man more monster than human. does raikov see him as much? he ought to. "i will never grow tired of you-" he speaks in his mother tongue, words a purr - a dangerous one. is volgin's love a blessing or a curse? - perhaps the other knows ( his body certainly would ).

it's akin to a fairy tale, the way raikov finds himself melting helplessly, voluntarily, desperately in his lover's hands. his breath hitches, taut chest rising and falling and shuddering with every staggered inhale, exhale. and his eyes are closed, of course, ebony lashes dark against his snow white skin -- nothing is more important to a soldier than his eyes, and ivan would place his in volgin's palms a hundred times over.

perhaps it is a curse. perhaps it was like the fairy tales he occupied himself reading in the library, stories of princesses locked away in towers and guarded by dragons. and were it so, raikov had sunken his teeth deep into the poison apple, impaled his hand on the spinning wheel, and fallen into it willingly. ❝ i love you. ❞ his lips curl into a smile, ice blue eyes opening to meet his partner's gaze. ❝ so very much, zhenya. so much it hurts. ❞ and as if to punctuate his point, he presses those delicately puckered lips into the other's palm, never once breaking eye contact.

guys, i think the hermits are going to accidentally start a prank war again. because just like last time, a game of telephone has begun. first, false made iskall's build into ''false beans,'' her shop from the previous season. however, to give herself plausible deniability, she signs it with "love, Joel. x" due to his username, smallishbeans.

next, iskall sees this, and completely believes it. he thinks it was joel who pranked him, and as he says to pearl while showing off the sign, which he kept even after tearing the prank down, "joel gave me a kiss." in his most recent video, he pranks joel by sending him loads of anonymous messages in order to completely spam and fill his inbox, preventing him from getting any more mail, with notes such as "thinking about you. x"

of course, joel is going to have absolutely no context for this, because he didn't make the initial prank. so who is joel going to assume sent him all those messages while he was away on holiday? well, i have a guess.

It’s not as if Mhin wants to do this. It’s not as if they’re particularly attached to her in any way, not when she gets blood all over their floors and lounges carelessly in their home like she has every right to be there. But she comes, and they admonish, and she smiles, and still they bring out their city of bandages and disinfectants and ointments.  Li is a law of nature, and so Mhin is helpless: it’s like how the tides are pulled by the moon, and the sun rises in the east each day, and the planet revolves ever so slowly on its axis. It’s simple cause and effect, unchangeable scientific relationships that govern their world. If Li is a wound, then they, by all means, have to be a remedy.

Sometimes I wonder what it means to aim for greater heights as a Trainer. Does it mean becoming stronger, or does it mean deepening the connection one has with their Pokémon? I suppose life is all about searching for the answer to that. If you have a clear answer deep inside you, and you do what you think is right... then no matter where you are, you'll always know your destination. Wouldn't you agree?

I've heard that souls burned up in Chandelure's flame lose their way and wander this world... Losing one's way, becoming unable to reach one's destination... is quite sad. If any customers like that ever ride with us, I hope I can guide them back to where they need to go.
