I swore to myself that I would post on time for all of hypno ship week, but procrastination hit hard and then compulsion hit harder. My stupid brain just wants to plan a fleshed out hypno-centric coffee shop au because I remembered a song with an ✨inspiring✨ name and now I'm in too deep to pretend I never thought of it.

Regardless... I guess my hypnoshipweek fanfics will all be a part of one big coffee shop au because I fr can't get this shit out of my brain.

The first two days of cookie sales had been… interesting to say the least.  A rocky start for sure. April’s lack of sales talent was highlighted by the other sales stand occupying the same road as them. Brownies of all things, of course. A chocolate battle to the death it would be then, but the brownie scouts had the advantage. Despite the absolutely devilish smiles the young girls would cast in April’s direction when no one was looking, they batted their big eyes at the passerbys and suckered them in one after another.  April became more and more frustrated as her sale pitches failed. Sunita helped where she could, but she only got so far. “Sorry,” she played with her hair. “We don’t exactly do little sale stands like this in the Hidden City so I never got the chance to practice it.”  Their saving grace didn’t happen until Mikey, now in a full blown disguise, popped up.  “Don’t worry, I’ve got this. I watched all of Dad’s old training videos.” April frowned. “He had training videos on making sales?” “Sure! Lou Jitsu was used for adverts all the time. Now,” he spat on his hand to slick back hair that he didn’t even have. “Watch me master this.”
