i don't know how to maintain friendship

when it happens it happens accidentally, I don't really try, it just happens once in a lifetime

but then when i try i always feel like im not enough. like im not helping enough, not present enough, not supportive enough, not helpful enough. and when I realize that i cant help this one particular person my subconsciousness demands to "leave them and do not waist their time on a friend who doesn't even help a little"

….uh. sorry about that. if Earth is the only planet out here with living beings, i’m going to be extremely surprised. so. yes. i believe that there’s life on other planets.

do you believe in ghosts: hhhhmmmm. i’m not really sure about the afterlife? i believe there are some unexplainable things that might occur in the universe every now and then, so i won’t fully close the door on the existence of ghosts just yet. my mind doesn’t really jump to supernatural occurrences when weird things happen, though.

computer or mobile: computer!! i’m a fast typer and it’s easier for me to multitask on a bigger screen.

apples or oranges: apples apples apples. they’re sweeter to me.

silence or white noise: white noisE. i sleep with rain ambience sounds at the moment, but every few months it’ll change. 

favorite songs: oh god. um. there are hundreds. favorite songs of all time, though, are Sweet Caroline, Bohemian Rhapsody, Somebody to Love, Weight in Gold, Radioactive… there are probably a few more, but those pop into my mind most readily, so we’ll go with that.

favorite bands: Queen, Imagine Dragons, Pentatonix, Jon Bellion isn’t a band but he is a fave… there are tons. t o n s.

favorite stories i’ve written: ….h m m. well, i honestly haven’t written much, and i’ve published even less (99% of which was in this fandom)… sooo…. huh. this is tough haha. i really liked writing Protect This House- trying that new style, i think, helped me a lot. storms and stardust was actually so much fun to write, too. also passage? passage. was. a lot of fun. i like when i can feel a little wordier, a little deeper, a little less tangible with the writing, because it somewhat emulates the way some of my favorites (especially on here) write, and they’re amazing.

favorite published authors: Vonnegut; Rick Riordan (it’s been a while, but an icon); jomny sun; marcus zusack. there are probably more, but we’ll stop here.

love at first sight: …hmm. i think you have to be very careful about this one. first impressions are almost never truly honest; you have to be really lucky for this to work.

…but as for, like, falling in love with a dog on sight and adopting them? yes absolutely i agree 200%. oggo forever.

pens or pencils: hhhHHH i dunno buddo!! depends!! i like mechanical pencils or pens that flow really smoothly. my handwriting is half-cursive and loopy, so i like anything that can make it look flowy.

hoodies or sweaters: sweaters!!

gloves or mittens: …mittens are the ones where you have individual fingers, right? if so, then mittens. or whichever you get fingers in. i don’t live where it’s cold very often can you tell

favorite season(s): sPRING i love the new colors and the rain and the warmer but still slightly chilly weather aND I JUST. love it. second place is definitely winter, though. cold cold cold. and staying inside when it’s cold. mm. nothing like it.

superpower: …you would think after 19 years on this earth i’d have a good answer to this. i really like the one where you’re able to fill anything- a water bottle, a bank account, an energy level, a scantron for an exam… that one’s pretty cool. there are others that i could debate having, too, but once again my brain’s coming up short haha.

i don't know if i could ever imagine a jshk everyone lives au because we've seen that it's not. viable? it doesn't work - something isn't quite right, or relationships that were formed because of the canon circumstances no longer exist or are as strong, some people even lack the character development the tragic events have given them. the picture perfect arc showed some of this, but the current arc even more so - aoi still has her hair up, she still hasn't opened up to anyone. yugi amane lived, but decades ago and he doesn't seem to be human anymore. nene can't be with hanako. kou and mitsuba. Because I was dead?

rather than a tragedy where things could've been prevented and everyone could've been happy together, this is a tragedy where no matter what you do - even changing the past - everyone being happy is never a possibility.

the rest of my thoughts have left me but yeah. tragedies are amazing

okay okay so many thoughts about the new hirakagi chapter. niibashi class 1-A accepted listener of kagi's problems. niibashi the good friend who listens properly but tries to not be too pushy, who is happy his efforts are appreciated. kagi who's trying to make sure he's not being too greedy with his 10 seconds. shirahama kuresawa miyano cameo! SASAHIRA. kagi jealous of sasahira and the Look. niibashi feeling awkward this entire interaction (i would too). sasaki connecting the dots. hirano hesitation before we aren't close. hirano looking for kagi before smiling brightly at him (reverse of beginning of ch 1) (also sasaki's face jshdjs). hirano i was wondering if you were gonna do your 10 seconds of touching me for today taiga. ichinose!! moe sode yashiro. and HANZAWA MASATO my guy aaaaaaaa. so much about that. his face. yashiro's reaction. ichinose's harried explanation trying his best. amazing chapter all around i have to say

i love all the little dishes you can choose from, and the signed izumi photo (to replace izumi lol)! i very much enjoyed putting it together!!!

i also looked at the cookbook pdf and i'm very excited to try the recipes!! they all look amazing!!!
