so the spy au rlly started as kind of a stress relief bc of some shit i was going through personally (i needed to punch some bitches), and mcmattdrai were the first ones i rlly thought of as the centerpiece. i also have ideas for 1634, jt/mo, sidnatecale, tzjd, nicojack, tknp, etc. rlly just all the ships. in the wise words of princess nokia, “i want him, and i want him too”

i want the whole thing to feel like ocean’s 8, james bond, and ready player one had a baby, aesthetic-wise. it’s reflected in the playlist as well. as far as plot goes, i’ve only just started thinking about it but as is my style b*ttman will be a villain, there will be montages, and mitch marner will be impossibly, irrevocably loved. he deserves it.

Writing Update 10/21/2024

MAN where have I been with chapter updates?? The question is hecka busy with work and having to pick up a second job. Just a lot to do of late! Also having art that has due dates, so have had to spend free time on that.

BUT back in the driver's seat! Hoping to get some updates for everyone soon <3

JUJUTSU KAISEN LONGFIC UPDATES

Lessons in Accidental Seduction: Next chapter has one scene left to write and then it is done! So should be out sooner rather than later!

Malevolence of Love: Next chapter is coming along super well! Taking my time with the chapter as it is a huge one story-wise, and hoping you will all enjoy the big reunion!

Broken in the Ways No One Sees: Next chapter is coming along very well and hoping to finish it up soon! This story is two chapters away from finishing.

Spouse Wanted: Chapter is slowly working out. Taking my time as we are finally figuring out who tops and who bottoms....and want to handle it in a way I think will satisfy most readers, but hopefully this week it will have an update too.

Careful What you Joke About: Broke ground on the next chapter! The plot is going to kick up again so I hope you are all ready for the drama!

The Yuuji Files: Haven't started the next chapter just yet. Letting it sit a bit while I finish up some other chapters and stories for now.

Who's a Good Boy: Been starting to get some progress done, just slow going as don't want to rush it but also more excited to write the chapter after this one.

Culturally Inappropriate: About 8k words in for the first chapter and still figuring out the direction and how to wrap the first chapter up. It is the sequel to Historically Inaccurate, so want to keep up that same emotional bite and momentum, so taking my time with it. Soon though....

When You Get Two Grandsons: Putting this one a bit on the backburner as I work on some of the larger fics and see about wrapping some of these stories up!

Mirrored Lives: Still haven't settled down to get the long draft done for this one, but still on the backburner! Can't Help a Cuddle: Got all the reader suggestions put in the doc and now just have to go about sorting it all and organizing it into a coherent chapter! Hopefully will have time soon to handle that!

Had one of those moments where I had to look at an older fic for reference for something and ended up going, "Oh hey this was pretty decent"

And then I hit the end and got hit with the realization that I never finished it to my immense disappointment LOL

For Steve Harrington, it was just meant to be another house party, getting wasted and stoned whilst hanging out with his friends. But then Billy Hargrove rocks up to the party and Steve's attention is soon taken up by the blond who becomes centre of the party.

Until he isn't and Steve finds himself getting trashed with his rival in his car rather than out on the patio with his friends, making a pact with Hargrove that he forgets in the morning.

But Hargrove does not.

Cos it turns out if you make a promise to Billy Hargrove, you better make good on it. Steve's promise being that if they are both not married by a certain age, they will marry each other.

But it seems like Hargrove is determined to carry the promise through and make Steve do so too...no matter what the cost.

It's dates. The cost is dates....but not in the way most may imagine....

Dark comedy, dress up and hijinks, join Steve as he navigates both the dating world and a guy whose obsession for him has taken quite the turn....

So this is what I came up with when I say a combo of @shieldofiron and @ariesbilly tags. Which triggered the image of Billy dressing up and crashing one of Steve's dates to scare her off. Inspired by the video game Lollypop Chainsaw. And that it just sprialed from there.

Not sure if that's what either of you had in mind, but I've been looking for an idea to use for something more comedic, and I like dark comedy so thought why not.

I also like murderous Steve but he tends to be flayed form when I write them (or thinking more like American Psycho or Scream vibes) and much darker in content, but he could also be an option in future ^^ if peeps are interested in something like that too

“I don’t have time for this,” the dwarf growled, adjusting his weaponry and leaving Bilbo behind—but rest assured, Bilbo would not be abandoned so easily as he trotted along. “No, I don’t have time for this!” Bilbo grouched loudly, causing the dwarf to pick up his pace. “Slow down!” “Mahal, do you ever stop talking?” “First you crash into our headquarters uninvited, and then your fellow kinsmen are roaming all over the place trying to apprehend you. That doesn’t even count the crimes you’ve committed outside my domain! What do you expect me to do?” The dwarf immediately halted, twisting sharply to face his annoying shadow with a threat in his voice. “I expect you to…” His aggression trailed, something behind the hobbit gaining his attention, and urging him to pull the pointy eared creature close to him. Bilbo scrambled, but had minimal time to react as he was crushed against the dwarf with a tug, and while his mouth opened, ready to demand to be let go, it was the sound of metal against some sort of glass that rang loud in his ears like the detonation of that spacecraft. Turning his head slightly to barely see the energy shield from the dwarf’s arm that was covering the back of his head, his mouth snapped shut. Bullets pelted the shield, ricocheting in various directions. “I expect you to run!” came another snarl before that transparent blue shield faded from the dwarf’s arm where his bracer was no longer glowing, and a firm hand gripped at Bilbo’s wrist to drag him along. A hobbit gripped in one hand, a gun in the other. “Move your feet, Halfling!”

It made his heart flutter that much more, and his head to spin. “Whatever doubts in my mind I’ve ever had about you, I am sorry.” “Don’t—don’t compliment me so highly, I would have doubted me too, and to be honest, I still do. Remember that we haven’t actually escaped yet,” Bilbo downplayed, even as his body felt so comfortable and so safe in Thorin’s arms. It was as if he were meant to be within those arms.

I feel like the last few days I’ve been working “a little on a lot” and though I’ve written a bunch, I don’t feel like I’ve made any progress. Hoping this will help and serve as something to compare against next week.

shield extra : 553 words, sort of HotD meets HTTYD, original idea for the “shield” prompt in my event but I liked another idea better. probably abandoned.

Copy of Copy of silk: 4640 words, chapter two of Handpicked 

Ink: 3714 words, modern AU in Westeros where Daemon is a recluse living on Dragonstone and Rhaenyra is sent to interview him for a women’s magazine. Why? Because his company created the dragon dildo that reinvented the adult toy market. Crack treated very seriously. 

Winggg: 3674 words, prompt fic for my summer snippet event, the prompt being “wing”. Using some elements from “shield extra” in that it’s a viking age AU. Daemon is a Dragonlord. Rhaenyra’s village worships the seven and does not believe dragons even exist. War prize/kidnapped Rhaenyra.

Copy of shield, 4900 words, second idea for “shield” and one i’m pursuing more seriously. Mostly Cristin POV, Rhaenyra sleeps with him after returning from the brothel, but Viserys agrees to marry her to Daemon the next day. 

vampire demons, 377 words, chapter two of ‘a myth to most’

Wing, 3042, original idea for “wing” based on the life of Toby Wing. it’s turned into more of a nonspecific starlet AU with stage mother Alicent, sex symbol Rhaenyra, and famous pilot Daemon.

rough / arranged marriage WW1, 4572 words, original idea for “rough” but it got too long:  When Viserys dies Rhaenyra discovers she is betrothed to an old family friend whom she has never met. They have a wonderful night together—but that is all they have before he is called away to war. Rhaenyra learns about him through gossip from jealous women alone, and excitement for his return is tainted by how was it said to roughen even the best of men.

Bonus: a random sentence from my notes app and my current selfs guess at what my past self meant by it because that girl does not provide a lot of context.

I wish there was more I could say about it but I literally dont even have a snippet to share 😭😭 I've literally had the idea since I was first writing the mortifying ordeal - back when it was still meant to be a 10-20k fic! It was going to be my next one, except then it became a 60k fic and then it became a series and then I once was lost took over my life for months and I have barely touched the doc for this one at all...

The idea is that it would be a post-ep for What's Next from Abbys POV where she decides to catch up with some people from her old life while shes in LA... like Carla, who maybe manages to squeeze in a coffee while waiting on a charge to finish his PT appointment, and hey maybe she runs into Athena at the hospital when shes visiting Sam? And she knows what it's like being on the other end of the line at dispatch, so wouldn't it be nice of her to go say hi and thank you to the dispatcher that took her call?

(And somehow, all roads lead to an Evan Buckley that she never took the time to actually know...)

Yes, that is supposed to be Shep and Simon’s cursed Christmas card from make a fire out of this flame, my CO textfic. Yes, the infamous “getting railed by a fish” photo (Shep’s words!). Since February is Figuary, I am really into... uh... drawing naked people (you can actually see today’s Figuary session behind this drawing) so I thought “why not try the card?”

I did actually try to find a reference on the Croquis Café of a man lying down, but alas, they do not have that, so I am doing this from the loose wrist, as the Dutch say. And I’m struggling. I suppose I am still not good at drawing people without a reference. Like, why are the legs higher up than the ass? Are the upper arms too long? If anyone has anatomy tips, let me know.

I want to work on a ZoLaw fic idea I have in mind, but I also want to work on a KKOB fic idea, then there's the GoToji prequel fic idea, and it's partner which is the SKFS/GoToji fic - oh and let's not forget the MHA fics I have yet to update. Those of which I only update the Villain!Shou fic and the SKFS/GoToji fic.

Oh! And there's the Kamesaku draft that is still in it's beginning stage, I'm hoping to make it a one-shot, but it's looking like it might be multi-chaptered.
