Idk if you answered this before but curious how you feel about the dark knight/batman begins movies and the newest the batman movie

the Nolan trilogy has all the flavor of a slatine cracker but the acting and fillmaking is good so they're passable

The Batman 2022 is a perfect film and a spiritual sister to Lego Batman 2017 but it's unfortunately come at a time where WFA and the DCEU are making people lose braincells

Episode 1 ~ Sheep’s Clothing

“Yes, yes I am.”

“It’s amazing, isn’t it?” He says, not stopping his approach but looking past me and out into the sea that rested calmly before us. “At night, I mean, you can hardly see the horizon and the way the moon pushes and tugs at it-”

“Yes, gently, with tender love and care,” I say, still trying to place his odd accent. I was sort of well traveled so I’ve heard a few accents in my life but nothing quite like his. “Is Simlish your first language?”

“Ummm,” he was going to lie. I could see it on his face and hear it in his voice but why lie about your language? “Is it the accent?”

“What is your first language?” I ask a little more seriously now, my alarm getting ready to blare. I wonder if my protector is nearby and if they are content with this strange man being so close?

“Slatin,” he finally revealed and for those that do not know that is an old and nearly extinct language that’s only taught in universities pretty much. It hit me then and there, he was no mortal. I took a long strained sigh knowing that eventually one of them would come for me. “I am sorry, Laverne, I truly am, but I had to see it for myself.”

“See what?” I say, a little on edge now. He knew I knew what he was and he was ready to drop the disguise. 

“You’re...you’re real? Actually human?” He seemed amazed at that. “I can hear the thumping of your heart even, so eager and vital and full of life and...there is an odd scent to you and-”

“Who are you and what do you want?”

“Tullus, Tullus Cinna,” he replies confidence as if it is a name I should know. “I work for your father and...well, I’d just like a moment of your time? One night, a...a date?”

My eyes widened at that and my jaw threatened to drop but I kept it sealed by biting down on my bottom lip. This was definitely a first. Usually, these vampires are quite sneaky, they stalk and yes, try to kidnap me for this or that reason but they never get too far before my dark angel swoops in and well, she makes quick work of them, whoever she is. She’s so good at it that it’s been years since the last kidnapping attempt. 

As for this guy I do appreciate the confidence and he wasn’t bad looking at all. There was an appeal to him, not that I’d ever date a vampire but...

“Yeah sure, whatever. One date, one night out, and that’s it. Nothing will come from it but you must promise to leave me alone forever after wards.”

"You haven't exactly made it a secret as to why you wished to go on this trip so badly." Slatin knew Küze, from their very childhood days, there was nothing going on with his friend that he wouldn't notice. Which is why he brought it up.

"I should have known, you've got a keen eye, always had. While in reality I was given this job by Sir Germaine to learn more of politics, I was much more eager to take it on because I knew where it would lead me. The empire of Sanizarox, home to the woman who visited us on Borvio a few weeks ago, Janelle ... " Küze had formed a weakness for her beauty and kindness. She had truly been captivating during her brief visit to their home.

"Is that your motivation, a woman? I had taken you for less of a ... "

"A fool? is that what you were going to say, Slatin?"

"It wasn't. I was going to say that I took you for less of a hopeless romantic. Never before has a woman gotten you hooked so easily like she has. However, I'm not one to judge. I simply hope you move carefully, she has some influence around here."

"I'm well aware. I would never put the relation between our nations on the line because of a woman but ... there is just something about her, do you know what I mean?"
