I love love love that Mumbo and Grian are in a group together this Life Series! They are such a deranged duo. Scar and Grian are, too. But with Grian being bossy and Scar never listening they are bound to clash and more often than not Scar's stubborness wins, making Grian tag along.

Mumbo however is happy to follow along with Grian's shenanigans and joins in on bits without a second thought. They enable each other in the best way possible. The way they play off of each other just shows how comfortable they are with each other.

And they are both so paranoid and bloodthirsty! Mumbo never hesitates to betray his group to get a kill. Although most attempts at his teammates are either playful or they are just collateral damage.

Also: They are both so snarky in the Life Series. Two british men finally allowed to take off the gentleman coat, going absolutely feral in the dryest way possible. The way the two rip into Skizz is hilarious.

And don't get me started on the parallels between the two duos. Grian seems to have a preference for jealous, crazy, oblivious men with abandonment issues and a predisposition for murder. I can't put into words the excitement I felt when Mumbo decided to say "I'm the only friend you need." It's a level of possessiveness that only Scar showed in Limited Life where he kept trying to get Grian into the family.

It made me want to write a story with Scar and Mumbo actively at odds with each other while trying to fill two completely different spots. Mumbo the best friend role and Scar the boyfriend role. Ohh the amount of harm they could do!

All of this makes me itch to write more for Mumbo and Grian in general. We need more Grumbo content!

bigb is usually so resistant to putting his trust in one person, one group. this session he was still paranoid that skizz and tango might turn on him, that this task might make the entire server every person for themselves. but when it came down to it, he was defending his boys and he was there for him. when he was paranoid and alone, he went to go find skizz. in the end, he stated multiple times that skizz was the only person he could trust. he didn't team up with anyone else after skizz died, he just hid. even if he never wanted to admit it or fully believe it, the heart foundation was his family too

If you've already gotten context then feel free to ignore this, but here's cliff's notes of the context. Grian 'banned' Scar from talking about Disney, Star Wars, ect. It's heavily implied Scar agreed readily to this in the first stream, Friday. Today Skizz kept bringing up the 'banned' topics and letting Scar go nuts. Every time Grian would do the 'why did you get him started, Skizz' and Skizz would laugh at him and answer 'I like it. I like hearing people talk about stuff they're passionate about' and 'I like hearing people talk about their interests.' It was very clear this was a 'bit' but also that Skizz was really interested and would have happily let Scar talk about space, watches, Disney, Star Wars or anything else his little heart desired.

Thus earning him the loyalty of awkward beans who get flack for 'ranting' everywhere, myself included.
