My friend @skazkaai came up with a funny name for Donna and Dani's sister dynamic. Now it's called "sisters in arms" hehe

She also came up with the name for Vlad and Donna's (terrible) family parental-child dynamic, it's now "cheese mold". Not that names for canon/oc family dynamics are necessary, but it's fun.

Also before I forget Mister Samuel Winchester was absolutely SERVING the same flavour of sufferingwife/painedconfusion that Will Graham serves time and again (sam does remind me of will or maybe Will reminds me of Sam idk) on Hannibal.

They're the same but different but it was especially strong in this episode.

Mysticons First Episode Rewrite with Sharise

Note: I still consider Sharise a late arrival, so this won't affect any other stories (for example. she wouldn't have been there in "the coronation"). Also, this episode may seem Sharise-centric, but that's because I'm planning on glossing over anything that's the same as the show.

The part with Piper and Zarya stealing from Cat Merchant would happen exactly as it did in the show, as Sharise isn't present for this, so she wouldn't affect this scene.

The scene where Arkayna is doing griffin training goes mostly the same as it did on the show, with the change that King Darius isn't there. Instead, while Queen Goodfey is clearly annoyed that Gawayne isn't paying attention, she is mainly focused on Arkayna.

Another part that's the same is the Shadow Mage (I know it's Tazma, but I'm writing this like it's the first episode, so her real name isn't revealed) capturing Choko and telling Piper and Zarya to steal the Dragon Disk.

Queen Goodfey leads Em, Arkayna, and Gawayne to the treasury, where King Darius is there with Lydor (Sharise's uncle) with Adrie and Sharise. Queen Goodfey recognizes him as the scientist who got special permission to learn about the dragon disk, and while Lydor introduces both Adrie and Sharise, it is clear that he saw introducing Sharise as an afterthought. Queen Goodfey talks about the dragon disk, and it activates. Everyone leaves, but as Lydor studies magical artifacts and so might be able to figure out why the disk activated, he is invited to stay at the palace and study. Sharise, embarrassed by everyone seeing how Lydor favours Adrie, says that she'll head home on her own.

The episode continues as it did in the show until Malvaron, Arkayna, and Em are running from the throne room. Sharise, who got lost while trying to leave the palace, ends up in the middle Arkayna and Em meeting Zarya and Piper. She sees the Dragon Disk, and believes that if she returns it, then her uncle would have to compliment her, as King Darius would see Sharise returning the disk in and likely mention it to Lydor. That's why she grabs the disk, and they all become Mysticons.

The battle with Dreadbane is more or less the same, but Malvaron puts a tracking spell on Sharise and Zarya (they didn't know Sharise planned to return the disk, so they still don't trust her). Zarya and Piper steal the disk, but Sharise, not wanting to team up with Arkayna and Em, leave during the chase. Malvaron goes to follow her.

Sharise isn't there when Piper and Zarya give up the fake dragon disk, so that scene continues as normal.

On the balcony, Sharise is there, and she mentions that Malvaron convinced her to come. She is mainly staying out of the argument, and leaves to go on her own. Piper goes up to her, saying that they'll be Mysticons together, and that she knows they'll be friends. Sharise says that, for now, they're just teammates.

Em's Different Reactions in "Sisters in Arms" and "Edge of Two Morrows"

One thing I noticed is that while Em was willing to be a Mysticon in "Sisters and Arms" with no hesitation, she was unsure and even quit temporarly in "The Edge of Two Morrows". While at first glance this seems weird, there are two reasons why I think this would work.

The first, and most obvious, was when they go ttheir powers. Even with Piper convinced Em and Zarya that they were Mysticons, they didn't have their powers right away. In "Sisters in Arms" on the other hand, they learned that they were Mysticons once they got their powers. However, as Em seemed to be willing to help fight off the skeletons even before getting her powers, but seemed more unsure in "Edge of Two Morrows", there is clearly more.

The more is who got turned to stone. In "Edge of Two Morrows" it was Arkayna, who is Em's best friend, and in "Sisters in Arms" it was Queen Goodfey and King Darius, people that, while they may have a good relationship with Em, isn't as close. Perhaps seeing her best friend turned to stone was enogh to shatter her confidence. Also, in "Sisters In Arms" Arkayna was right there with Em as they fought against Dreadbane. However, Em was asked to work with people who were complete strangers to her. Even when she realized Piper was from another time and new her, she didn't know Piper.

In short, the lack of power, as well as Em not having her best friend with her, was the reason she acted differently in "Sisters In Arms" and "Edge of Two Morrows".

i swear you just gave me the best prompt for a haikaveh fic. this needs to be written and i will gladly do it.

and thinking on it, Kaveh is widely known all over Sumeru. he really is the Taylor swift, meanwhile, Alhaitham is more of a Tony Hawk. no one recognizes him, sure they know of the acting grand scribe, but they couldn't point him out in a lineup, he's just some guy always with Kaveh.

Trying to diffuse the situation or questions just adds to the fact they're couple.

I honestly think so many people forgot that Kaveh is incredibly bad at keeping it a secret that he lives with Alhaitham but incredibly good at keeping it a secret that he's bankrupt.

The takeaway from Kaveh's character stories is that 95% of Sumeru thinks he's living with Alhaitham because he wants to. And there's pretty much no logical explanation for a (supposedly) rich and (legitimately) famous person to need a "roommate."

So... 95% of Sumeru definitely thinks Kaveh has a kept man. Alhaitham in canon is doing absolutely everything in his power to add fuel to the fire. And Kaveh literally cannot correct the public's assumption--because doing so would require him to reveal his financial struggles.

Basically, what I'm saying is that you should definitely, 110% write a fic. And then send it to me so I can read it.
