I do love sharing pictures of process... here are a few from my recent stay at SÍM. During this residency I began to use acrylic paint, gesso, and gouache which I really enjoyed. I kept things simple and only used white and black... I brought the gesso and gouache with me, but got the black paint and some lovely new brushes in Reykjavík. I haven´t used paint and a paint brush since I was in my very early 20s and taking Painting I in college. It was very satisfying to use again and I plan to keep going, maybe even add color!
