Johnnie and I had spontaneously decided late at night to go to the carnival that was in town, and that's exactly what we did.

We went on so many rides, laughing as each of us got shit scared plenty of times on different rides.

Throughout the whole time when Johnnie was distracted I couldn't help but smile at him with nothing but love, his mostly immature jokes at random things always made me laugh no matter what they were, his sweet and caring attitude always seems to make me even more in love with him, and of course his style it suited him so perfectly that I couldn't picture him dressing any other way.

We had decided to go and get pretzels and a slushie before going on the Ferris wheel so that we could end the night on the Ferris wheel since we had been here for a few hours now.

It was finally our turn in line as Johnnie and I walked up to the sweet older lady that was running the shop.

"hello, can we please get two pretzels and 2 raspberry slushies" Johnnie asked the lady nicely as he looked over at me making sure that he had gotten the order correct to which I laughed at but nodded.

The older lady looked between us and smiled before saying.

"sure thing, and you two are such a cute couple I have to say"

Johnnie and I looked at each other quickly trying to scramble over words and tell her that we were in fact not a couple but she was already gone to get our order.

While we waited to the side for our food a little girl came rushing over asking for a picture with Johnnie and I as we were both some of her favourite youtubers.

Of course we agreed and bent down to her level quickly taking a picture and she smile d brightly thanking us to which we said no problem.

But before she walked away she said one thing that just made Johnnie and I look at eachother with no words we could possible say.

"you two are the most adorable couple on YouTube" she walked away after saying that as Johnnie and I were left in an awkward silence.

Did we really look like a couple to everyone here, I could see how awkward Johnnie looked which made the smile on my face drop thinking he didn't like the idea of us being together.

We collected our food and slushies and decided to sit in a nice patch of grass that no one was really sitting at that had a nice view.

As we say down another orderly couple smiled at us muttering to each other about how adorable we looked together.

"wow three people in under 20 minutes" Johnnie chuckled a look I didn't recognise plastered on his face.

"yeah I guess we must look like a couple to them" I tried laughing to play it off.

But Johnnie turned to look at me, at first he didn't say anything and just looked like he was taking in every single feature that he could possiblly notice.

"well id be one lucky guy if what they were saying was true" he said boldly not taking his eyes off of me waiting for my reaction.

"w-what" I stuttered my heartbeat going up rapidly hoping I didn't misheard him, he stood up grabbing my hand and pulling me up so that I was standing in front of him looking straight into his eyes as he took a deep breath.

"look Yn, I can't keep it a secret anymore, I like you, like really like you maybe even love you That's how strong my feelings are for you and I can't possibly go another day without telling you how much you affect me, your style, your laugh, the little things that get you excited, how well you get along with Jake and scuff, and I hope even if you don't like me back that this won't change anything in our friendship as I can't loose you, your the only person that can make me feel so hap-"

I cut him off smiling brightly as I pulled his face into mine connecting our lips as he didn't waste anytime in kissing back snaking his arms around my waist and mine going around his neck.

The kiss was sweet and passionate, a moment Johnnie and I had been waiting for, forever.

As we pulled away my forehead rested against his as I muttered the words he was waiting to hear.

"I love you too"

Johnnie smiled pulling me into another kiss the Ferris wheel ride we were supposed to go on temporarily forgotten as we got lost in each other's embrace.

alex had decided that he was going to make you play such a child friendly sweet game! five nights at freddy’s. it was going to be a late night stream, so he thought it would be funny to wear onesies while watching you play it. he had an old tigger onesie he was going to wear on halloween but never did, whilst you were wearing a adorable totoro one.

you zipped the onesie all the way up, then putting the hood on. you thought it was so adorable so you smiled a little. right as you opened the door, you started wheezing at how cute he looked. alex on the other hand rolled his eyes smiling, “shut the fuck up” he says laughing. you put your hands on the sides of his face,”you look sooo cuteeee!” you admire while fixing the hood on his head. he puts his arms around your waist, “shut up only my mother tells me that”

we go to his streaming area where I pull out a chair for myself, I look over to alex who’s doing his fake sad face. I laugh a little, as he sighs. I eventually ask, ”yes alex?” he shakes his head,”I mean my lap was an option, but if you want a chair..” he pouts in a joking type matter..I think. I feel some butterflies in my stomach, shoving his shoulder lightly.

he starts his stream, immediately my ears are a little sensitive to his hellos. “HELLOO. chat, listen listen. first off the rat off the streets finally decided to join.” he mutters looking at you shaking his head with disappointment. you look into the camera putting up a thumbs up, with a forced smile. “anyways chat this was gonna be my Halloween costume didnt fucking happen, and she’s this weirdass weeb thing.” you let out a fake audible gasp, “the fuck did I do to you?” he masks his smile from your response.

“so basically,” he turns his chair towards you, “we are going or be playing this cute adorable game. it’s called five nights at freddy’s, ynow like a.. like a uhm, five night sleepover” he boasted smiling. you furrowed your eyebrows tilting your head, “are you sure?” he nodded vigorously with a huge grin on his face. he turned on the game where you see a animatronic bear with a glitchy screen. the music was eerie and you looked at quackity. “this doesn’t look like a sleepover asshole.” he puts his head out of veiw laughing. “w-what the fuck do you mean?! it’s like uh girlsgogames”

we start the game and enter a little office, I can’t help but notice the annoying fan. I turn the mouse to look around the room, “wow. this is so adorable.” I say in complete monotone. he smiles at you, “exactly, even chat thinks soo!” I leave out a shaky breathe when a phone rings in the game. I flinch a little, “jesus chrissstttt..” he covers his mouth nodding, “doing great.”when your listening to phone guy, there’s a feeling of his hand on your knee, using his thumb to calm you down as he’s suppressing any snickering. “okay so you want to check your cameras and don’t leave the doors closed for too long. cause then your battery is gonna go out.” you nod to his words and do what he’s saying.

a night passes and there is barely any trouble. on night 2 you notice the purple bunny is gone. “where did that one go?! Where the fuck did that one goo?!” he looks over at you with mocking shock, “try to find him on the cameras” you groan looking on the cameras, “stupid purple bitch stupid fucking purple b-OH SHIT!!” as you take your camwras off the purple bastard jumps at you, your breath literally leaving your body.

your hands are covering your face, as there covered by quackitys arm. he’s laughing a little, trying to wrap his arm around you. “I’m so sorry I’m so fucking sorry” he snickers trying to dismiss his practically giggling. you leave his grasp smacking his shoulder. “fucking asshole! that was not a fucking sleepover bitch!!” he scrunches his nose hutching his stomach laughing mumbling sorrys. about 30 minutes later he ends stream. you lay on your bed watching your phone, still annoyed with him.

as he was finishing raiding someone and closing out of his tabs he lays with you. he puts his arm around your waist forcing you two to be close, when he starts pressing kisses to the same spot on your cheek. you try to push him off smiling a little bit, “what are you doing?” he lets go, but still close to your face. he talks in a low raspy voice,”are you still mad?” you shrug teasingly, “mm maybe I am” he tilts his head nodding and continues kissing the same spot while you laughed and protested.

The next two weeks passed through without any major disturbances from the ocean. The carpeting business he had created the year before was slowly reaching an all time high. The demand for boats was coming in full force as the fishing season was coming in in less than a month and so far, the boats Jacob was able to make easily was the dinghy.

However, this particular order was taking far much longer than he originally thought when he made the outline for it. But, it was a boat where it was asking for a lot of designs and Jacob had to hire a couple more hands to help him with the project.

Although, the project wasn't what was on his mind, a certain fish tail was making him more occupied.

For years he knew that the creatures of the sea were both dangerous and mysterious, but from his previous experience with the red Bluster anything is bound to happen at this point.

Jacob pressed on with his life, Maisie was enjoying her time in school practically leaving their home to go and come back home to tell him all about what she learned that day. He returned to his contented life, finally understanding that he would probably never see that mermaid again.

The shed that he had built after his house was finished, held most of the wood he owned and perhaps where he spent most of his time working on his projects.

With some nails in his lip, Jacob hammered the curved wood on the right hand side of the unfinished dinghy he was working on and then wiped his brow. It was day two of his project, and a wet one. It had rained the day before, putting his schedule back a couple of days because the wood he used was also wet.

Sighing, Jacob pushes away another completely soaked piece of wood into the mounting pile of its predecessors and picks up another to feel the weight of it and inspect any large wet spots on the wood.

"Da! Da!" he turned his head to look at Maisie approaching him with a large grin on her face. He sets down his hammer and piece of wood to catch the girl in a hug and grins.

"Hey there kid, how was school?"

"Good!" she exclaims as he sets her down. Digging into her school pack, she pulls out a large book and thrusts it into his face.

"Look! They changed the story about Red!" she says excitedly. Jacob flips open the red spiral book and sees the progression of their story, scarily it was very accurate to what happened. Pretty sure Maisie had something to do with that. A proud father he was.

"Oh and there's someone here to ask you about making a boat for them." she tells him and Jacob frowns in confusion then looks up to see someone approaching.

As the sun sets in the distance, the rays were bouncing off the skin of the woman approaching them. He wipes his hands on the rag he keeps on his hip and squints a bit to see something shimmering on the woman's neck and arms.

Thinking nothing of it, Jacob's eyes widens as he realizes who was approaching and couldn't form any sentences in his mind to speak.

"Hello, you're Jacob Holland right?" Her voice was sultry and soft.

"Um, yeah, I mean yes! Yes, I am Jacob Holland." he holds out his hand to shake her hand and she smiles in greeting.

"I'm Y/n, I was wondering if you could build a jolly boat? I'm a...I help clean the ocean with a very private organization and one of our boats was lost to the sea because of...the rain we had yesterday." she brokenly explained.

"I understand. How soon do you need it done?" he asks, taking the pencil and notepad that Maisie had handed him.

"I can do that. Any color or designs you wish to add?"

"No, it can be however you want it to look." she reassures him and he nods again as he is writing down the possible wood he would need to purchase and add up the total.

"Okay, if there's nothing else that you may need then it will be seven gold pieces for the materials and the time it would take to do the project." Jacob explains.

Y/n pulls out a small pouch from her hip and hands him the correct amount then adds four more pieces to him.

"Just in case," she says to him with a smile.

Shaking hands again, Y/n waves to Maisie and departs from their home sneaking a quick look over her shoulder to Jacob again before turning her head and continuing on her way.

Jacob watches her go and sighs in bliss, Maisie is looking at the gold that she grabbed from her father's slacked hand. Bringing it closer to her face, she noticed something odd about the gold piece.

"Da, look at the money she gave us." she says snapping him out of his stupor.

Jacob looks close at the currency and sees a triton on the gold. The rarest of gold that can only be found in...Jacob shakes his head and puts the gold in his pocket, letting Maisie have the one in her hand for a treat.

"Let's get some dinner then, eh?"

"Yes! I want to show you the high marks I got on my test this week too!" Maisie says as she grabs his large hand and the father-daughter duo return to their home.
