Are you named after anyone? I've heard this story a buncha times so I'm pretty sure my mom got my birth name from a singer. She heard it on tv and liked it a lot, back then it wasn't a very common name in my country. My names as of now are 50/50, Tom didn't come from anyone but Teddie was 100% something I picked up from Teddie p4, hahah.
When was the last time you cried? Last Sunday when I rewatched ep 11 of Bucchigiri. especially during the part where Zabu got the absolute shit beaten out of him. Finn came home right after that and doesn't understand that one of the big points of media is to reach you emotionally, so he thought it was weird that I was crying.
Do you have kids? Nah, but I'd like to some day, if fate allows it.
Do you use sarcasm a lot? Not nearly as much as I used to, because most of my friends are autistic and don't get it most of the time, so I just end up upsetting them whenever I do use it. Being sincere is much more fun anyways.
What sports do you play? None, but I would love to swim or ice skate (or, hell, do some skiing). Neither are really possible for me atm, unfortunately (do you have any idea how expensive skiing is btw. it's crazy). When I was a kid I did gymnastics and streetdance, I also played tennis briefly as a teen, but had to quit due to a lack of people in my age group playing at that club.
What’s the first thing you notice about people? I usually take note of how someone dresses and does their hair. Ever notice how dull most people's clothes are? I like seeing styles that stand out.
What’s your eye colour? Brown, it's not a particularly dark shade, but I wouldn't call it hazel (my dad has hazel eyes though).
Scary movies or happy endings? This ones a little... vague? But I guess if I had to choose... I wouldn't. I don't care about genre or what type of emotional impact it has, as long as it's coherent and entertaining in its own right. (That doesn't mean I don't care about quality btw. I literally just. watch anything and judge it for what it is.)
Any special talents? I'm a boss at packing in groceries quickly and efficiently. Not a talent that everyone possesses, I've learned (sorry Minke <3).
Where were you born? Netherlands babeyyy ✌ North-Holland to be a bit more precise. I lived next to a dyke (not that kind) so I got the real under-sea-level experience. I still live around the area but not in my hometown anymore.
What are your hobbies? Drawing, (writing?), translation and the nuances that come with it, watching movies, tv shows, animes, cartoons, playing video games, reading books, comics and manga. (and then talking about cinematography, parallels, themes, symbolism and the likes) I also collect soda cans (+ the occasional glass bottle), candy packaging, and anime figurines + other merch.
Do you have any pets? My little baby Jody (dog) who I've had since I was 7 years old! She's about to have her sweet 16 on the 23rd (that's in 2 weeks!) she's getting blind and deaf as hell but she's still lively and sweet as ever <3 And my sweet Tiger of course, who's of undetermined age (around 8/9 the vet said) and currently living with my good friend Minke and their 2 other cats (he does not like them) and dog (he is ok with her). He's not with me rn because my mom's bf is allergic, unfortunately.
How tall are you? 1 meter 59. that single centimeter haunts me. I would've also preferred an additional 10 as well.
Favourite subject in school? Art history used to my favourite in high school, and when I was in film school for a brief period I loved film history. I just love anything pertaining to the arts and it's history that involves analysing and comparing it to other time periods, really.
Dream job? I wanna be someone's househusband and make a buncha weird art on the side. Not kidding btw. But if I had to choose a more conventional dream job... it had to be something in the creative or design industry, otherwise I'll probably die of unhappiness.

holding tight: glebfa meet cute
The sound of ice shavings under blades usually made Gleb feel comfortable, the prickly cold would ground him. Not today. He had woken up with some unrest within him, something moving his gravity center, making him fail every landing.
"Fuck!" Gleb growled when he fell on his knees again. "You fucking idiot!"
There was a running gag among his fellow skaters, he knew. Everyone in the rink had seen him, at least once, wrapped in the middle of a string of mumbled insults, his gaze to the floor, harshly critiquing a bad landing or a mediocre skate. It was odd, slightly worrying and a little pathetic but no one blamed him, really. He would never raise his voice or curse at anyone but himself and anyone who knew his father guessed, by the twitch of his jaw and his hawk-like stare, that this was learned behavior: it was the Vaganov way.
And so Gleb was in one of those spells when his ice time expired, the thud of hockey equipment alerted him of the incoming players. He raced to the boards, not breaking a particularly creative combo of vulgarity.
"You absolute piece of shit! You ice-skating, lycra-wearing, uncoordinated, bronze-medaled fuck!" Gleb's tenor, even directed to the ice, sounded crystal clear.
"Wow," a high-pitched squeal sounded from within one of the hockey players' helmet. "Now do me! Roast me!"
Gleb looked up and found the entire hockey team staring. The Petersburg Huskies, if he wasn't mistaken, infamous for a lot of things but mainly for being all-women and extremely violent. Gleb felt his skin turn white then scarlet red under their stare.
"Dunya!" the captain reprimanded the girl, slapping her helmet. "Manners!"
"Sorry," Dunya excused herself and patted Gleb's shoulder as she stepped onto the ice; it was awkward and a little too strong since she was already wearing protective gloves. Gleb winced.
Almost comically, every team member patted his shoulder as they entered the rink behind Dunya, increasing in force and speed as they went, so that the penultimate player almost punched him down to the ice. Gleb braced himself for the last hit but it didn't come. The captain was staring at him, green eyes shining catlike behind the wires of her helmet.
"If you ever sort your shit out, look me up, pretty boy," she said, icy, confident, sultry. Gleb didn't know how to respond, feeling her sizing him up, her gaze lingering on his thighs and ass, all on display in his training gear. Paradoxically, he couldn't make out anything about her, other than the reddish brown of the braid poking out of her helmet.
He nodded curtly and watched her skate away. The back of her jersey read 'Spektor' in bold letters.

The loud boom-boom-boom of music reverberated inside Gleb's chest; it hit the window panes in a way that, combined with the mob dancing frantically in the next room, it felt like a small earthquake was shaking the entire hotel. Normally, that atmosphere would have made Gleb uneasy but that night it didn't. Dmitry and Anya were hosting a party to celebrate both the end of Russian Nationals and their newly announced engagement. The silly lovebirds, the lucky idiots, Gleb thought with a soft smile, leaning against a wall, playing with the ice cube in his near-empty glass.
"Having fun yet?"
Gleb turned to find Dmitry, all disheveled and sweaty from dancing, the biggest smile lighting up his face.
"Congratulations," Gleb said, instead of answering. He wasn't having fun in the traditional sense (he almost never was, to be honest) but he was content.
"Thanks, buddy! Give me that," Dmitry took Gleb's half-empty glass and changed it for a fresh one as a waiter passed them by. "It means a lot that you came, Anya will be stoked."
It felt a little too earnest a thing to say but Gleb didn't have time to wonder: Anya walked out to the hallway where they were talking and ran to hug him.
"Gleb!" she squealed, throwing her arms around his neck. "You're here!"
"Anya, hi," he replied into her hair, taking a number of seconds to understand what was happening and return the hug. "Congratulations!"
"Thanks!" Anya squeezed him, kissed both his cheeks, and let him go. "We were planning to make you guest of honor tonight," she said brightly, like she was letting him in an inside joke, "but then I felt that it would be more attention than you'd want at a party."
"I'm glad you didn't," Gleb chuckled with a mixture of confusion and relief, trying to make sense of everything while Dmitry elbowed his ribs playfully. "Guest of honor? What-? Why?"
"It's just- We realized the other day," she started explaining between giggles, "that Dima and I wouldn't have met without you!"
"Oh," Gleb let out an awkward laugh and rubbed the side of his face. "God, I hope you two are very happy," he wished sincerely, remembering his dark days of sickly competitiveness. "I suppose this is the nicest way in the world to say that I was a contrary and troublesome son of a bitch."
"Keeping that mouth dirty, I see," a raspy voice said behind Gleb.
They all turned their attention to a brunette in a sequined dress. Involuntarily, for a moment, Gleb's eyes followed the deep V of the neckline of her dress and the contour of her shoulders. Her arms weren't wiry like a figure skater's, they were strong, like some cross fit enthusiasts Gleb had seen at the gym. His eyes then darted up to her smile, feline, cocky.
"Marfa, you came!" Dmitry lunged forward to hug her, lifting her stylettos a little off the ground. He turned to Anya: "Babe, this is Marfa, my childhood friend!"
Marfa went to kiss Anya on both cheeks. "I feel like I know you already! You're such a badass! That lift you guys do where you're up on one leg? Jesus Christ!" Marfa fawned enthusiastically. "I'm going to tell you all of Mitya's embarrassing stories!" she added with mocking malice.
"Yes, please!" Anya jumped up and down a little. "I like her," she declared.
Dmitry rubbed his neck, looking for a way out. "Uh, this is Gleb Vaganov, current singles national champion," he deflected, grabbing Gleb by the shoulder. "Gleb, this is Marfa Spektor, captain of the Huskies."
"I prefer Alpha Bitch." Marfa extended her hand and squeezed Gleb's, relishing the look of shock on his face as he put two and two together. "And we've met," she said, "haven't we, pretty boy?"
"In a way," he mumbled, doing his best to ignore the wide eyes Anya was giving him and the knowing smirk Dmitry was trying to contain. "We talked once, at the rink," he explained.
"Almost didn't recognize you without your spandex," she eyed his black suit and crisp, white shirt.
"We do take breaks from it," Gleb said, trying to include Anya and Dmitry in the conversation but Anya seemed too shocked still and Dmitry looked like he was watching the most exciting tennis match happen in front of him. "I would have never taken you for a sequin lover," Gleb commented.
"Oh, you have no idea," Marfa smirked.
"Anya! That's our song!" Dmitry said suddenly, gesturing back to the other room where all the dancing was happening; judging by Anya's frown it was a blatant lie. "We'll leave you to it, then," he added, taking Anya's hand, leaving Marfa and Gleb alone in the hallway, and saying something about this being the second best day of his entire life.
"So..."
It was an odd thing, that even with the deafening music, they managed to have an awkward silence. Gleb made a mental note of giving Dmitry the shittiest engagement present he could find.
"So," Marfa grabbed Gleb's glass from his hand and took a sip. "Did you ever sort your shit out?"
Gleb shrugged. "You know how there are recovering alcoholics? I suppose I'm a recovering asshole," he replied lightly. Marfa cackled.
"That's a terrible joke but I appreciate the spirit," she moved to his side, leaning against the wall, their shoulders touching.
"Can I ask you something?" Gleb said after a while.
"Sure, handsome," Marfa replied quickly.
"Why do they call your team The Petersburg Hussies?"
"Ha!" Marfa looked a little amused. "Who's 'they'?"
"You know... People... At the rink..." Gleb said slowly.
"Men," Marfa corrected him.
"Uh," Gleb paused for a moment, "yes," he agreed.
"Because we're the best, and fragile men can't stand the success of women if they don't make it about our sex lives," she said flatly, her stare steady. "Are you like that, Gleb Vaganov?"
He hesitated for a moment, not because he was unsure of the answer but because it had been a while since he had felt so deliciously challenged by anyone off the ice. "I'm not," he responded.
"Good," Marfa said, easing back into her flirty smile, and allowing herself one good look at Gleb's lips. "I'd hate for you to be just a one night stand."

1. What is your middle name?
"My middle name is Nichole."
2. What does that make your full name?
"Meagan Nichole Maynard."
3. If you could have a superpower, what would it be?
"I think it might be pretty nice to be able to regenerate and never really get hurt."
4. Do you believe in happy endings?
"To a certain extent, I do. I don't believe that they'll just happen or be handed to you, though. You have to put in the hard work and make it for yourself."
5. How well can you write in cursive?
"I wouldn't call it beautiful or anything, but at least it's legible. In other words, I like to think I'm at least decent at it."
6. When was the last time you lied?
"Let's hope she never reads this, but I told my mom I was going to hang out with Harper and May when in reality I never saw either one of them at all Friday night. Oops?"
7. Have you ever been on a blind date?
"Never have I ever. Well, at least not yet anyway."

"My mom has this vintage jacket that's pretty cool. She used to wear it all the time in like her twenties, but I claimed it as soon as it fit me well enough. So yeah, I guess it's about thirty something years old."

"Umn, probably only on special occasions when there's something to celebrate."
10. How grammatically correct are you when you text?
"I always make sure to type in complete sentences and correctly spelled words, just because it looks more professional and might be easier for the other person to decipher, but I really don't care too much when it comes to correct punctuation, though."

"No, and I don't really have any desire to learn, either."
12. What foreign country would you most like to visit and why?
"I really want to visit London one day. As for why, I don't really have a reason other than the fact that it seems like a pretty fun, cool place."

"None of the above. I'm not a comic person."

"While I do have a FaceBook, I'm not really super active on it tbh. Instagram and Snapchat are where it's at these days. Well, at least for me anyway. To answer your question, though, I guess I would say a small handful."

"Yeah, I try to do my part and help out whenever there's a blood drive going on."
20. From 1-10, how much do you like decorating for holidays?
"It depends on the holiday, honestly. Christmas is definitely a ten, but everything else is more like maybe a five or so?"

"Let’s just say that vanilla is good, but chocolate is better."

"I barely know anything about my biological dad, so definitely my mom."

Chapter 6. Happy New Year
I do not own Harry Potter or the characters created by Rowling
So, I know in the first chapter I said that Anneliese has black hair, I actually meant to change that before I posted it, but I can be really forgetful. She actually had her hair dyed a reddish brown and by the beginning of Christmas break her hair was down to her shoulders and flipped out, kinda like Tracy’s hair from Hairspray (the 2007 version), and the hair dye had faded out into her natural light brown hair.
Plus, I wanted there to be a little bit of stuff from others POV, I was mostly doing a 3rd person with Albus, but I’m throwing some other people in there. It will be important for later dates

Chapter 6. Happy New Year
Albus sat on the couch in the living room. It was the 31st and he was waiting for Scorpius and Anneliese to arrive. He sighed as he flipped through the pages of the comic his aunt had gotten him. She tried to talk to him about Rose when she gave it to him, but he got out of the talk by claiming he was needed somewhere else.
He heard the roar of the fireplace and he looked up, he saw the dirty blonde hair of his friend appear. Albus sat the book down and stood up, “Hey Scorp!”
Scorpius smiled and stepped out of the fire, “Hey Al, how’re you doing?”
“Good, you?”
“Same, so are we just waiting for A?”
“No, no you are not.”
“Oh my god.” Albus gaped at Anneliese. “Your hair!”
Her hand instinctively raised up to her hair. “Oh, yeah, asked my aunt to cut and dye it. You don’t like it do you?” The smile on her face fell slowly.
“No, I like it, it’s cute. It’s...you!” She smiled again, “Honestly, not many people can rock half shaved hair, but you look good with it.”
Scorpius nodded, “He’s right, it suits you.”
“Good because I like it.” She looked around, “What room are we in?”
“Our living room, c’mon, let me show you my room.” They followed Albus out of the room and up the stairs. He stopped when he reached the door. “So, my sister, Lily, will be home in, maybe an hour or two. That’s her room, she said that you can stay in there if you feel more comfortable, mum also said you guys can stay in the extra rooms as well.” He opened the door and let them in, “It’s not much, but it’s comfortable.”
“I like it, but it’s just so….” Scorpius started, but he couldn’t seem to find the right word.
“Gryffindor.” Anneliese stated easily, “So not you.”
Albus shrugged, “It’s been like this my whole life, I never really noticed or cared. Maybe I'll ask mum and dad if I can repaint it over the summer”
“It's up to you, and I'm not surprised that you never noticed, you never notice anything.” She walked over to his desk and picked up the radio, “I have one of these.” She turned back to Albus, “My mum always has been interested in Muggle things, anything that can play music she has fallen in love with. I have one in my room.”
Albus nodded, “There’s more muggle technology downstairs if you’d like to see.” They walked out of his room and back down the stairs. \

“I don’t understand muggle sports.”
“I don’t understand sports in general so I beat you. Well, that is unless you count dancing, gymnastics, ice skating, or ice skating a sport, then I understand it.”
Albus shook his head at his two friends, “Of course that’s all you understand L.”
She shrugged, “They’re less dangerous and make more sense then Quidditch, Futball, Soccer, Tennis, and other sports.”
Everyone jumped when they heard the front door slam. “Lily?! Is it you?!”
Soon later Lily came into the room, her face was red from running in the cold, tear marks stained her face. She ran over to Albus and he instinctively wrapped his arms around her. “I hate her.”
“Who Lils?”
“Maria.”
“What happened?”
She sniffed, “She made fun of the fact that you and James go to Hogwarts, but since she believes it’s just a fancy private school, she said that it’s probably a centre for troubled youth and called you strange and then called me weird!”
“Oh Lily,” He murmured.
“Then she told me I look horrible and then said things about daddy’s scar and I wanted to tell her why he had it but she wouldn’t stop talking and making fun of me!”
“Lily, I’m so sorry that she did that to you...well, if it’ll make you feel any better, you can hang out with me and my friends. I’m sure they’ll be okay with it,” He looked over at his two friends, “Won’t you?”
Scorpius just nodded and Anneliese spoke, “Of course! Now I won’t feel alone as being a female!” Making everyone laugh, she walked over to Lily, “Us girls gotta stick together,” She held her hand out to Lily, “I’m Anneliese.”
Lily smiled, “I’m Lily!”
“What a pretty name.”
“I was named after my grandmother! Hey, do you know the muggle movie Barbie: Princess and the Pauper?”
“Of course! I babysit some of the little kids in the town near where I live and I’ve seen it about a dozen times! Wanna hear something cool?” Lily nodded, “My middle name is Erika. The movie came out the year before I was born and my mom has joked about saying that was why she named me that when in actuality she named me after her grandmother, my great-grandmother, and her brother, my uncle, his name was Erik.”
“Wow! That’s so cool!”
She nodded softly, Scorpius walked over to Lily, “I’m Scorpius.”
Lily shyly smiled, the blush that came to her face was only noticed by Anneliese. “Hi.”
Anneliese smirked and held back a small laugh. Little Lily had a crush and it was painfully obvious to the elder girl.

Everyone was getting their pajamas on before they were walking downstairs to watch the countdown for the next year. Albus and Scorpius were sharing Albus’s room while Lily and Anneliese were sharing Lily’s room (mostly because Lily begged for Anneliese to be with her). Anneliese was slipping a shirt on while Lily was reading a magazine. “Anneliese?” The other girl looked at her, “How...how is Albus doing?”
“What do you mean?”
She shrugged, “I don’t know, I just overheard my family talking on Christmas Eve night. Uncle Ron was saying things about Al being in Slytherin. I don’t get why he hates them so much, what did they do wrong?”
The black haired girl sat across from the small redhead. “How much do you know about the Wizarding Wars?”
“I know that many died and that it was a terrible event, why is that important?”
“Just wait, do you know what Voldemort’s followers were called?”
She nodded and Anneliese motioned for her to say, “Death Eaters.”
“Good, well, the majority of them were from Slytherin house. It’s a stereotype that all Slytherins are evil. I bet he’s upset because Al befriended a Malfoy, the Malfoy’s were big Voldemort supporters. Lucius Malfoy went to jail because of it. Draco Malfoy was tasked to kill Dumbledore, but he didn’t. But, Narcissa Malfoy, she saved your dads’ life. She lied to Voldemort and said he was dead, just because he told her that her son, Draco, was alive and okay.”
“But just because they were like that then doesn’t mean they still are.”
“I know, but some people can’t see past that.”
She sighed, “I’m happy that Al met you two, he seems happier than he was before he left.”
Anneliese smiled softly, “I know, even on the train, he seemed miserable.” Then she sighed, “Has he always had a bad relationship with James?”
She nodded, “Yeah, they always fought. Never did it physical like it does now though. When mum and dad were talking about it when they started to happen-”
“Wait, physically? I just knew of their verbal fights, never did I know they got physical.”
Lily nodded, “Yeah, a few weeks ago James broke Albus’s nose even, apparently, according to James, that was because Albus ‘attacked’ Rose. I know she attacked him first, he was only defending himself.”
Anneliese let out a breath, “Huh, I never knew, Al just said that he ran into a wall in the dungeons, which isn’t surprising because well, it’s Al.”
Lily laughed, “Omg, we have a treehouse in the backyard and when we were little he fell out of it while trying to climb out and broke his arm. He also broke his leg from falling down the stairs.”
Anneliese began to laugh, “Why can I see that happening?”
Lily just shrugged her shoulders and died her laughing down. “What time is it?”
Looking at her watch she immediately bolted up, “11:58!”
Lily’s eyes widened and they both ran out of her room. They ran down the stairs, almost tripping on the way down. Making it into the room just as the 30 second countdown started. “You guys almost missed it.”
They rolled their eyes and Anneliese swatted at Albus’ arm. The 10 second countdown started and they all counted down. 10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1, Harry and Ginny shared a kissed, along with Victoire and Teddy, who decided to come over a few hours back. “A year closer to going to Hogwarts.” Anneliese heard Lily say softly while she heard Albus and Scorpius mutter, “A year closer to graduating.” She just rolled her eyes and the boys and gave Lily a side hug.

It was the next morning. Albus was laying in his bed, staring up at the ceiling. Reflecting on his last year. Getting accepted into Hogwarts, meeting the two best people, being put in Slytherin, his family hating him just because of his house. Sure, not all of it was fun, but the majority of it was.
There was a knock at his door and then it opened, “Albus? Are you and Scorpius up?” He sat up when Ginny asked the question, “Okay, well, if Scorpius isn’t up, then maybe wake him up in about 30 minutes. I’m making breakfast. Lily and Anneliese are downstairs playing Wizards Chess and James left about an hour ago.”
“What time is it?”
“It’s 10 am sweetheart.” Albus nodded and she left the room. He crawled over his bed and shook Scorpius’ shoulder.
“Dude, wake up, moms making breakfast.”
Scorpius shot up, “Food?”
Albus laughed at his friend. His dirty blonde hair was sticking out everywhere. “Yes, food. It’s 10 am. Apparently James left and the girls are downstairs.”
Scorpius scratched the back of his head, “We probably should get down there then, should we?”
Albus shrugged, “It’s up to you man.”
He got up and off the blow-up mattress, “Then let’s go.”

It had been two hours since his friends left. He and Lily were playing a muggle game called Go Fish. That was until James’ voice appeared, “Are you done investing the house with snakes?”
Albus rolled his eyes, “Are you done being a dumbass?”
“Y’know, mum and dad are fighting with our family because of you. Did you know that? I overheard mum and Aunt Hermione complaining about dad and Uncle Ron fighting over your house.”
“Well at least I don’t pick fights with people who don’t do anything. 3s?”
“Go fish. 7s?”
“Are you just going to ignore me?”
“Actually, I’m being factual, something you don’t understand. Here.”
Before James could continue Ginny walked in, “Is everything alright?” She looked at Lily, “Lily?”
“Oh, James was just saying some stuff to Albus, but yeah, everything's fine.” Ginny nodded and left the room. “Y’know James, would it hurt you to be nice for once in your life?”
“Would it hurt you to take my side for once?”
“I take the side of those who are right and don’t deserve to get shit said to them.” Instead of continuing to argue, he stormed out of the room. “Baby.” Lily looked up at Albus, “You okay?”
He nodded, scared to use his words. Scared that if he did, he would cry.
