My actual favorite part of wisdom saga is telemachus trying to lean against Athena (he thought about that for .03 seconds and then was like nah !!! :D she's my friend not the goddess of war!!! She's often accused of playing the victim, that's a big line in like the Kanye stuff, and so on, like she's self-victimizing. But to me, what's actually kind of interesting, and it's almost an artistic flaw of hers, is that she is unable to be the victim. Like, in Dear John, which is one of her best songs, she has that, you burned all the other girls you date out, but not me, I got your matches before you could burn me. And so like, she actually doesn't play the victim, she's just kind of honest. Like, if somebody releases a music video of you with like, a giant nude wax Taylor doll, she'll be like, that's kind of revenge porn and I don't like it. That's just hitting back, right? So like, what actually irritates people about her is her refusal to be the victim of a situation, but like, they call it playing the victim.

don't get me wrong I love all yellowjackets (some of them more some of them less but still) but fuck when it comes to nat I HATE ALMOST ALL OF THEM. like wtf is wrong with you? no one cared about nat (I'm not talking about javi and travis cause javi did nothing wrong and travis is another thing). shauna being a fucking bitch towards everyone and especially towards nat cause why? misty is trying to fit in and have friends so she's telling shauna about nat and coach ben cause why? taissa is talking about "remember what happened to jackie" and not helping at all? van is somewhere too? lottie was the only person (among girls) who was there for her in season 2 and where is she now? she's with travis cause he can hear things so apparently nat isn't the wilderness fav in her opinion?

and it's completely the same with jackie and I hate it. jackie always tried to do her best yet no one was there for her and everyone, even shauna, treated her like shit. nat is doing the same and she's gonna have the same in the end.

i lied. put your clothes back on. we’re going to talk about how if dc didn’t kill off kara back in the 80s and made it a point to keep her dead for 18 years because of their misogyny, she would’ve been one of dc’s most prominent characters (like dick grayson is right now) with a 100+ issues run during the 90’s, a great supporting cast and a variety of villains. instead, for the last 20 years, she’s been deaged to a teen three times, each time more detrimental than the last. she’s in the best position she’s been ever since she came back because now she’s an adult again, yet dc keeps giving her stories to be written by people who don’t understand her.

Taylor and her team really don't get enough credit for how innovative they are and how shrewdly they have their finger on the pulse in terms of industry practices and consumer demand, and things like releasing the tour movie and accompanying book independently are just one part of that. Years from now people are going to study their operations and have the data to back up that they really are industry disruptors and how unique Eras was from a business standpoint.
