But despite it clearly not working |< Thank you :) I am also definitely one of those “just one more chapter” people so I try and think about that every time I write and post a long fic |D I’ve always tried to put notes at the very beginning but someone a little while back (so sorry, I don’t remember who you are!!) mentioned that some other authors also put them at the end of chapters where it’s a good place to break the story for someone who’s binging and I was like “that is an excellent idea.” 

So while I know it doesn’t work on everyone - *AHEM* O_O - at least I can help people who might heed the warning when they see there’s six chapters left and it’s four in the morning on a work/school day |D 

Also drink water, that is something else I am bad at... DRINK WATER GUYS!
