Some people think the black hole scene is Shadow’s doing. I however think it’s Gerald and Eggman’s doing and Shadow is the one who saves the trio. Bonus points if he looks extra epic while doing it and Sonic has a moment of gay panic.

Ooh! That would be an interesting—and very exciting—twist of events.

I love how we all agree that Sonic experiences a moment of gay panic encountering Shadow, but nothing about Shadow having that as well.

Imagine if the Sonic movies had a spin off series and had an episode called "A Small Town Love" in which Sonic and Shadow go on a date in Green Hills.

I'll try to keep quiet, but you can't fault me for screaming "THEY'RE CANON" in the theater when Sonic 3 airs and I see a close up of Sonic's eye with Shadow's at its center as he is speeding past with his chaos power/standing on top of a pile of broken robots with the moonlight spotlighting him.

i think that if we do get super shadow and super sonic, one of them would def have a gay panic moment looking at each other

Absolutely in love with the idea of movie shadow , and movie sonic mirroring each other in almost every way, instead of contrasting the other. Shadow being the most extreme version of Sonic, someone who once had the same dreams and beliefs, but lost everything, and lost the ability to keep his hopes and dreams alive. Sonic being the most light version of shadow, someone who kept his dreams and hopes alive , despite the loses, he still has everything. I hope in Sonic 3, Sonic and shadow have to fight the crushing weight knowing the they could’ve been each other.
