hello there. do you like dripping wet morally bankrupt alien divorce in space? genderless human experiments with gender dysphoria? alien fungus that is also god a little bit? the destruction of earth’s biosphere? and bug with big ass?

SYN7ROPY is an upcoming series of illustrated science fiction horror novels for mature audiences. We are a small team of independent creators who refuse to be censored by corporations. The novels will be self published once they are completed. (12/20/2024 Progress: Writing and illustrating the third and final draft of 01: Isolation. First draft of 02:Observation is completed. The first drafts of 00: Annihilation and 03:Reincarnation are in progress. 04: Apotheosis is a rough outline.)

For now, we are “beta” mode. The drafts of the story can be accessed through our Patreon and Discord communities. (18+) This is a passion project and is not currently close to being able to sustain us financially so we appreciate any support we can get from our communities to make this happen!

Depicted are Hiccup and Windwalker from the How to Train your Dragon bookseries, fleeing from a dragon's fury. I reread it recently, and it was good. Highly recommend.

Windwalker's design was inspired by a number of things, including peregrine falcons, horses, carcals, great horned owls, and pelagornis sandersi.

The other dragons in the books were also very interesting in terms of design. I'm not opposed to trying my hand at making my own interpretations of them.

So I love the lil trope of "point of no return"-

and I talked about this in the context of Vast and Rune. That shattering of the chronometer, Rune figuring out what Vast was... that is a point of no return.

However, there is an important thing to note. While point of no return states that whatever relationship broken will never be the same... it doesn't mean it can't get better. That the relationship can't heal.

It's like a broken bowl fixed again. It will never be the same, there will still be scars... but it works. It still functions. Sometimes, it even gets stronger.

Rune and Vast will never return to the giggly mess of comfort and laughs. Rune will never see Vast exactly the same, but that's okay. Because healing is far better than sitting still and resting in resentment.

For those of you who are Fable fans, think of Centross/Violet and Wolf/Fenris. Their relationship is not some teenage romance movie stuff. They're two battle-scarred men who found each other, who support each other. Their relationship is no less beautiful, it might even be more so, than a naive, honeymoon phase relationship.

The real thing about love is that it has to survive the trials. No matter whether the love is romantic or platonic. A good example would be Spiteduo from Mer- the two were shattered apart, in a perfect example of a point of no return. But that doesn't mean Gyn turned Bite away at the door. No, they welcomed him back, cautiously but still happily.

Another example is Icarus and Rae. In the end, Rae still said goodbye. He still loves his brother. Icarus still loved Rae.

So basically, no matter whether Art and Heyhay decide to keep the two apart or put 'em in a romantic relationship again (or a qpr of sorts)... it's okay. Because Rune and Vast healing from their cracks will be far more rewarding than brushing everything off and sticking them together again with no issues to overcome. That healing is so vital to the two and how they interact. Taking it away would be detrimental to their character arcs.

hello everyone. unfortunately, I am not writing with good news.

Despite everyone's best efforts, I am behind in my goal. The pain in my shoulder and hips has continued to grow worse, and I am about 500$ behind on where I'd need to be just to pay the bills next month, let alone feed myself. In the last month, gofundme had frozen my transfers, and while that was being fixed, my cc was stolen and skimmed. sorting these problems has taken time and cost me money I did not have.

I am sorry there is not better news as october approaches, and thank you so much for everyone who has helped. Please, I implore you to share if you can. Thank you.
