I was talking to my brother about tmnt and the triceratons are mentioned in the conversation and it made me think of this image with the giant skull, in the 40th anniversary comic they mention them so they are still alive, imagine if they just appears, it would have been a crazy to see the turtles have to fight them, i imagine they would have had to fight like they did with krang and shredder.

As much as I love the idea of Leo being the one to declare him and Donnie as twins, what if it was Donnie?

What if, as he started getting older, he noticed he was a bit different from his brothers and wanted something to latch onto to make himself feel less disconnected from his family.

What if Leo agreed because the idea of having a twin was awesome and that's all it was to him.

What if, having that special connection with Leo, no matter how fabricated, made Donnie feel less alone and closer to his brothers.

What if, Leo completely forgot it was Donnie's idea in the first place, so took the idea of being twins as his idea. Of course Leo would claim the idea as his, it could only be him who came up with such a great one.

What if, Donnie let him believe that so no one would try and find out why Donnie of all people went with something so factually inaccurate.

What if, because of their Ninpo, Donnie felt more connected to Leo than ever. Hamato Ninpo was based on family after all.

What if, when Leo got stuck in the Prison Dimension, it was the first time Donnie felt disconnected from his family in a long time.

Imagine how much more relieved he would've felt when they got Leo back if Donnie had been the one to say they were twins.

Headcanon #13

Raph adjusts/makes the turtles clothes custom.

I love the headcanon that the turtles are all artsy in different ways. Donnie with building things and Mikey with general artsy things, but that's canon.

I think that Raph would LOVE all types of fabric crafts, so it makes sense that he would make custom clothes for him and his brothers.

Raph would totally love making his family clothes, and the others (Donnie and Leo specifically) would probably help him design them all the time.

I also love the headcanon that Leo is super sensitive to the cold, so Raph would probably go brother-hen mode and make him a closet full of clothes that go around his shell.

truth be told, I was going to keep this largely one-sided on Dale's end, with Leo teasing him playfully but ultimately respecting the hell out of him. Main reason he didn't go for Dale is being under the circumstances of invasion, dating seemed completely out of the realm of possibility in Leo's mind . but then I thought, after Leo lost his arm, he might open up to things more.
