I was looking for Naruto merch and I have to confess that sometimes it bothers me that they put Sasuke with the chidori and not Kakashi (I mean in promotional drawings not in the figures), I think it started to bother me when Sarada said that the chidori belonged to her father, I understand that Kakashi doesn't appear in the manga and can no longer use it, but I don't like that sometimes they don't recognize the chidori as Kakashi's creation😔

Oh ya that’s actually really annoying

Sasuke definitely has his own moves that he made as an extension of chidori and formed into his own thing

But Chidori is first and foremost Kakashi’s move, and i’m glad the Anime at least recognizes that (i’m unsure about the manga) when Sasuke teaches it to Sarada

Like it’s only usable by an Uchiha, but it was still made by Kakashi

Without him it wouldn’t exist at all, so it makes no sense to call it Sasuke’s even if it is only him who can use it after the war (till sarada learns it)

Sasuke teaching Sarada the Chidori after Sakura gave him her consent is exactly what married couples are supposed to do.

Married couples make all their decisions together as partners in all aspects of life. Which includes the nurturing of their child. Having an open communication with your spouse is important and essential for having a long lasting marriage.

I don't get people saying Sakura controls him like he's shackled there against his will when it's literally the stereotypical family breakfast / dining room scene with Sarada asking her Dad if she can learn one of his skills.

Like calm down and breathe. You don't gotta work this hard to find a reason to bitch about the SasuSaku family.

I know Boruto is finally in it’s main story arch but I really want eps with Sarada asking Sasuke to teach her chidori, but instead of Sasuke teaching her , Sasuke tells her to get permission from Kakashi and have Kakashi teach her. That’s all I need in my life.

What do you think are some of Boruto's missed oppurtunities? i'm not that engaged with it but from what i've heard so far (from people i know who are caught up) i'm just kinda upset that the uzumaki clan wasn't elaborated more now that Naruto has a family, and that we could've had more wholesome fluffy moments between the entire fam before y'know naruto got so busy with being hokage (cuz we all watched this lonely kid become recognized as a hero but then right off the bat he's suddenly an almost always absent dad? atleast show us more scenes of when he wasn't like that or even some brief flashbacks before slapping us with that kind of whiplash XD)

although that travel episode with kakagai and mirai was a pleasant surprise for me and i will forever cherish it <3

I haven't kept up with it that we'll honestly, cuz whenever a show starts with an obviouse horrible future I'm just not interested as a rule. I want some hope for my characters gdi

But things I can think of that were missed opportunities

Himawari and Boruto not calling Iruka grandpa or something like that. You're telling me that Boruto can call Kakashi 'old man sixth' but Iruka is just like any other person to him? No??????

Kakashi' not getting to train Houki. He deserved it. If he can train Boruto's snooty butt, he can train Houki. I want to see it.

The hyuuga clan not actually changing that much, but changes being 'mentioned' by Hiashi. You know...the guy who upheld the clan system of first and second family bs???

Sasuke teaching Sarada chidori. Was it a good father daughter moment? Sure. But like...mi feel like this show has just decided chidori is Sasuke's move and I'm still pissed about it (the manga too probably)

The bonds between team seven just seem so...broken??? Like it seems like Sai never interacts with Naruto and Sakura unless for work anymore and I'm not happy about it.

If Boruto, Himawari, and Sarada Were Narusasu’s Kids Instead of Naruhina and Sasusaku’s

This is an alternate universe I came up with where homophobia didn’t exist and Naruto and Sasuke got married and had kids. Note: they were able to have biological children because of Naruto’s sexy jutsu. He has more than enough chakra by the end of the series to keep it on for the months needed for a baby to form, therefore Sasuke and Naruto did not need to be bad heterosexuals. They could have became parents if Kishimoto had balls and Shounen Jump was not homophobic. I am done with that rant. Onto the au.

Sarada is oldest child, Boruto is middle child, and Himawari is the youngest child. Sarada gives me responsible older sibling vibes, Boruto feels like the type to have middle child problems, and Himawari’s personality and the fact that she is younger in canon makes sense for her to be the youngest.

In this au, Sasuke is a stay-at-home parent, but he starts going on the occasional mission when the children are older and don’t need someone around to watch them constantly. But when the time comes for him to have to go on a mission or to work with Naruto, Sakura and/or Hinata take care of the children for them. Sarada and Sakura get along extremely well, while Himawari tends to get along with HInata better, and Boruto gets along with both, but this also depends on his mood, and Sakura’s, because he can sometimes get on her nerves. Hinata never gets angry, so he tends to hang out with her more when he is in a bad mood, or he just goes off on his own into the village to hang out with his friends and frequently, Sarada. Himawari generally stays with the adults, because she is too young to start her ninja training.

Hinata gets married to Kiba, and Sakura never gets married at all. She chooses to focus more on her duty as a medical nin, and someone who closely advises the Hokage, because she knows Naruto would be useless without her.

Boruto generally gets along with Sasuke the most, because he is home more. He resents Naruto for being gone all the time, and making it so Sasuke has to leave him. He has no interest in becoming Hokage because he does not want to become like Naruto, but Sasuke tries to explain to Boruto why being Hokage is so important, which occasionally causes arguements between the two, because Boruto already understands this and just wants Naruto to be around more.

Sarada gets along with both parents equally, and was very inspired when she heard about Naruto from Sasuke, Sakura, their other friends, and the stories from the villagers. She wants to become someone that the people can rely on in a time of crisis, and she wants to make the village the best it possibly can be. She is willing to put in the work to become Hokage, and has both her parents to give her all the training she needs for when the time comes.

Himawari gets along with Naruto the best, but sometimes she has a better dynamic with Sasuke, because he has a much calmer energy than Naruto, and she can be a bit hyperactive at times despite her usually sweet nature. She also has a dark side which Sasuke is much better at handling. She also loves her Aunt Sakura and her Aunt Hinata. She tends to hang out with them frequently, especially since her siblings are off doing ninja things and she does not want to be at home alone when her parents are busy.

Boruto’s Powers:

His powers are pretty similar to the canon, because he has some of Naruto’s, but was also trained by Sasuke. The main difference is that he has a Sharingan instead of a Byakugan. He eventually learns how to use a sword from Sasuke, and prefers it over the kunai.

Sarada’s Powers:

Mostly the same as the canon, except she also loves using the Shadow Clone Jutsu to overwhelm her opponents, and she also learns the Sage Jutsu, because she has the patience and the drive to go through the training. She eventually asks Sakura to teach her the healing technique, because she wants to be as efficient as possible so she can hopefully become the next Hokage one day, and she wants to be able to prevent any of her comrades from dying.

Himawari’s Powers:

Once she is old enough to begin her training, she learns the Fire Jutsu, chidori, and the rasengan. She also uses a lot of tricks like Shadow Clone Jutsu, and Substitution Jutsu to get around her opponents defenses and find a weak-spot. This becomes even easier when she unlocks the Sharingan, because she can use their abilities against them. Himawari also relies more on hand-to-hand than her siblings, and even gets some training from Rock Lee, but not enough to use the gate, since she already has so much at her disposal, and does not want to risk her own defeat by using it. She also learns the summoning jutsu from Naruto, and uses the giant toads when necessary.

Sarada eventually becomes Hokage, and Boruto is her right-hand. Himawari becomes a Jonin, and she eventually gets her own ninjas in training to teach. She occasionally helps her siblings out with Hokage business if they need her assistance with anything.

Sometimes I think the writers forgot Sasuke has a kid. Like he being so casual in say "I'm always ready to die for Kohona" when himself saw how terrible was deal with his clan dead so his 12yo kid would feel the pain if he die too? but like they rare mention Sarada in any of this. It's like she doesn't exist.

Yeah after everything Sasuke has been through he deserves the chance to live a long life with his loved ones. And Sarada deserves the chance to spend more time with her dad. It’s already annoying how most of the pivotal Sasuke-Sarada bonding moments have happened off-panel, including him teaching her katon and chidori. And don’t even get me started on how she still doesn’t know the truth about his past and their clan’s demise.

Somebody said that Sasuke does spend time with Sarada and that they do have this deep bond because he trained her,but him teaching her Fireball and Chidori still doesn't make any sense given he was with Boruto for one and is never around for the other. And even with Sarada complaining that he's always gone,they still say Sasuke and Sarada have a deep bond.

Thing is these people don't understand the fact that if Kishimoto wanted to show something, he would and the fact that he doesn't think showing Sasuke hanging with Sarada is important speaks volumes on how much he values their relationship compared to Sasuke and Boruto's. Which begs the question, why does Sarada even exist if Sasuke was meant to be like a second father to Boruto much like how Piccolo is to Gohan???? Why not just let Sakura pine for Sasuke alone and Sasuke go on to train Boruto without being labelled a "bad father" by Sarada????

“We came to spy on Kawaki.” Oh Mitsuki, sometimes it is better not to be completely honest.

He really tried to get Kawaki to shake his hand while he had snakes up his sleeve, oh my god.

“You’re actually really happy, aren’t you big brother?” That teasing tone in Himawari’s voice was adorable.

I know the spar between Naruto and Boruto happens in manga and both Kawaki and Himawari are there to watch, but having Mitsuki and Sarada there too is new I think? Unless I’m thinking of a different match.

They say Boruto mastered the shadow clone jutsu and yet he can still only manage to produce 3 or 4 clones..

Oh he gained some speed by just having his karma mark activated.

That thunderclap arrow was impressive too.

“Chidori training.. I seriously want you to teach me.” Yeess! It’s happening! I mean I know she uses it eventually but if we can actually see her learn it from him I’d be so happy.

My boy really just look to Sakura for approval, aahh I love him.

That Uchiha family moment lasted only a minute and yet it just raised my mood so much. Amazing.

And Kawaki finally makes an attempt to fix that broken flower vase.

Preview thoughts:

Oh great, Delta gets impatient and infiltrates the village anyway, which means we get a decent fight next time.

Maybe that’s the sparing match I was thinking about before, oh well.
