caught between enjoying the fanservice vs understanding that juder & eun will write a story they see fit to create vs any more wish fulfillment and i will Scream

#jungle juice #s2e52 #i love huijin and suchan and bom but #the fanservice hijinks just aren't hitting #actually no scratch that. they don't hit as hard without the love that made them #back during the stray dogs arc i liked whenever bom and suchan got close in panels #i liked how they went from trainer and trainee to teammates #and i felt like their close proximity w/o the whole 'eek he's so close and i'm a girl and he's a boy and' was refreshing #(firmly excluding bom's inebriation. was massively Not fucking w that)#and in the opening of s2 w huichan flying as a unit was soooo so cute #the panel of his arms looped around her belly looked like a hug #i loved seeing them get more intimate and close w each other #but like. idk but it feels underwhelming to rely on The Hijinks for them to be closer together #and bom deserves more than to be treated as a nonexistent wedge between their relationship to make drama #loving the new developments in this ep otherwise tho
