God I love clangen, the clan is either an overpopulated hippie commune or full of more backstabbing than a TF2 spy convention.

I swear to god Ive NEVER had so many murders in one clan before. I lost count after we hit double digits. One kit even murdered their parent and the OTHER parent found out. And so they had to confront their child and ended up killing them in the ensuing fight.

Also the leaders' kits always seem to manage to be either leader or deputy. Idk what it is but theres a line tracing back to one of the OG leaders of the clan...

I could’ve waited a bit longer, but this blog has a very small audience so I doubt waiting through the full week would’ve done much except give me less time to prepare for the change (since this week is spring break).

This does not mean Evoclan is ending, it just means I’m going to add more clans to the blog (Which you’ll hear about shortly.) I have notes for like 3 of them, but I’m not sure if i’ll make a comic out of all of those or just one or two

some in universe lore: all subxarclan cats hail from a moon that was destroyed by an asteroid! this resulted in a large amount of them falling onto the planet (not earth) the moon was orbiting and being scattered. theyre rebuilding their way of life on this alien planet now n_n

there are no cats already living on this planet and any outsiders encountered are also cats that fell from the moon! their neighbouring clans are called dustclan rustclan and gustclan but theyre not super important so i dont focus on them. but theyre colonies of different alien species

aaand for process stuff: i use the kris’ colorful kitties mod with these guys! characters are developed mostly based on in game events but i have full freedom to retcon or manually alter anything if i find it funny. a lot of it is developed with my qpp :3 we like to have fun we like to play and draw

hi! To the people running the tumblr, if you play clangen often, how many moons is your oldest clan? :D

Heyo, I'm Scribble, and my go-to test clan, RustClan (the clan i use to test features while i code) is 922 moons old! It's definitely gone over 1000 during testing, but I tend not to save if I don't need to.

so here’s Bitternpaw, apprentice of RustClan

Bittern here would be the angsty teen who’s part of the protag party and maybe gets some POV in the arc. Generally apprentices become warriors at around 14-16 moons of age, but at 17 1/2 moons old Bitten hasn’t gotten approval for eir final assessment. For this slight she blames:

1: The leader she grew up under, Lionstar, who only took interest in his son and neglected any duties that didn’t serve his own ego.

2: The current leader, that spoilt son Brindlestar, who despite being two moons younger that Bittern became leader through nepotism and his father’s death. Bittern has such a one sided rivalry with him. He barely notices her and she’s so fucking pissed. Seething.

3: Her parent in the clan, who decided coupling with a contentious warrior from an enemy clan was a good idea, as was only revealing their disloyalty in the midst of Bittern’s apprenticeship. Ey thinks perhaps Lionstar purposefully ‘forgot’ to give em a warrior ceremony, to shun and ostracize em much like eir peers did. Clan tension is quite high at this point of time, skirmishes and worse have been common for years.

Though Bitternpaw had never given a reason to doubt her loyalty (beyond flimsy blood relation), she’s growing quite disillusioned with RustClan. When a prophecy incites some apprentices from the three clans to venture out beyond their territories, Bittern chooses to go with them despite not receiving any call from StarClan. Ey’s older than the other paws and so finds herself taking responsibility like she’s an older sister to them.

New Warriors ocs just dropped! They’re divorced!

+ the rough story idea.

These clans are set in the south east US area specifically based on my state, SC. Rustclan is a overgrown abandoned scrapyard in the woods and Vineclan is in a huge kudzu patch. The other clans are Cypressclan which is within a swamp, and Shoreclan which is in a rocky beach area connected to the forest next to a old abandoned lighthouse. Their gathering spot is a like the Angel tree, and the place they meet with starclan is a inside a abandoned church where all that’s really left is the pillars. They touch noses with a old broken stained glass window that reflects all kinds of colors when the moon hits it. During leader ceremonies it shines 9 colors that represent each life.

Making a list of the murders from Rustclan to just see who did what to who, and how many. Gonna go from the list's order, from leaders to medicine cats to warriors, ect.

FOR REF'S SAKE, the clan's been going for 629 moons. Even with clans at a third of that age, I've never seen SO MANY MURDERS.

TOTAL COUNT: 43 murders, wth Oriolestreak having 2 under their belt before exile (they were the leader's mate before Umberstar and I guess they didn't like Umberstar.)

Erminestrike, a medicine cat, was killed by a Hollystem, who made it look like an accident. It was discovered by Rollquill, a warrior.

Yewfreckle, a medicine cat, was killed by a Elkecho, and was discovered by Wingwillow.

Wasp, a medicine cat, was killed by an unknown cat.

Darkghost, a medicine cat, was killed by Drizzleblink, and was discovered by Heatherpelt.

Raccoonneedle, a medicine cat, was murdered by Rindlemoth, who BY THE WAY WAS THEIR CHILD. They were discovered by Warmshade, their other parent, and Rindlemoth was killed in the confrontation.

Primrosepaw, a medicine cat, was killed by Sablewhisker, who lured them onto the ice and let them fall in.

Wormhusk, a Mediator, was fed nightshade berries by Magpieeyes, a medicine cat.

Vineswan, a Mediator, was secretly murdered by Riverstripe. The murder was discovered by Mallowkit (who naturally could do fuck all since they were a toddler).

Grousedapple was murdered by Sleepywhistle, which was discovered by Deerblink.

Heathercrash was killed by an unknown killer.

Echofur was killed by Oatfleck, and the truth was discovered by Roansoar.

Pondtooth was killed by an unknown killer.

Prairiefur was killed by Slidebelly, with the truth discovered by Fruitskitter, a medicine cat.

For rating of clan names: My clans take place in an old abandoned mining town. The cats, while not fully accustomed to two-leg things, have more of an understanding of their surroundings. Spireclan, Marrowclan, Hiddenclan, Rustclan. Thanks in advanced!

Spireclan - I love this name, I just really like the word “spire” and I like how this connects them to their twoleg surroundings, 15/10

Marrowclan - I would say this is the most “natural” sounding name of the bunch, and it’s a name I like, whether it’s referring to bones or the vegetable, it’s a great name, and either way. It gives me a somewhat humble vibe, as to me, both meanings connect it to the earth, 14/10

Hiddenclan - I like the mysteriousness of this name and the implications it brings about the clan itself and possibly the type of location they have decided to live in, 15/10

Rustclan - I like how it connects to the cat’s surroundings, especially how rust tends to come with old abandoned places, so I can only imagine that this clan sees a lot of the stuff, 13/10
