"Notable predecessors of the Raven are Lucien, who was the first Raven, and Aristeas of Marmora, Jessamy, Francois, Jehuda, Vivien, Ming-Ti, Dechtire, and Hatshepsut. After Matthew, Daniel enlists Tethys, a deep-sea creature who had dreamed of the surface world,to serve him as a White Raven."
Wait, wait, wait, back up.. Hatshepsut. THE Hatshepsut! Egyptian female Pharoah BAMF. What the flip did that relationship play like?!
Dream: Hatshepsut tell Lucienne...
Hatshepsut: You may address me as Your Majesty or Ruler of Rulers.
Dream: I am your Master..
Hatshepsut: I've felled lesser men then you, you stroppy little sand kitten!
Dream: You will address me with respect!
Hatshepsut: You'll earn it you scant shadow of an obelisk.
Dream:.... Would the Foremost of Noble Ladies be inclined to deliver a message to Lucienne?
Hatshepsut: With greatest possible respects, from one monarch to another... Go f**K yourself... Sir.
Can we get her out of the Raven retirement home to be Hob's raven? The actual savagery of that tag team would be beyond the realms of brilliant!
Dream: Hob, my guiding light. I know I said you could choose any raven. But must it be that one?
Hob: Are you joking Dream, she's a feminist icon. A wonder of her times. It's truly my privilege and honour!
Hatshepsut: Thank you for your humbling words most kind and wise love of the Dream King.
Dream: Greetings Hatshepsut
Hatshepsut: If it isn't the very essence of Ras rays himself! Descended from on high to illuminate my life once more with his bright and glorious disposition.
Dream: (Looks at Hob) Are you smirking?
Hob: (Blatantly smirking) You wound me love. Ofcourse not.
Hatshepsut: (Identical smirk in Egyptian girl boss raven.)

I was having Decked Out dreams for phases 1–3, but since phase 4 started, things got weird.
Last night, I dreamt we were setting up camp in a public park on Gibraltar when there was a deafening boom as a British Naval cannon absolutely destroyed a fallen tree nearby. We were immediately screamed at to get indoors because “the monkeys were sick.”
Some random locals let us stay with them and said that this just happened sometimes and we’d be fine if we stayed inside.
Out the windows, cargo ships were visibly sinking and their goods were falling into the sea. We were asked to stay away from the windows.

Last night I had a dream where they surprise-dropped three new Sonic Prime episodes, the first of which was a musical, and words can't describe how disappointed I was when I realized that didn't actually happen
Other highlights from it include:
Green Hill suddenly being restored with no explanation as to how
Sonic and Shadow duet
Shadow asking about a huge tidal wave in the distance and Knuckles casually responding with "oh that's just Sonic on another one of his anxiety runs"
Smash cut to the anxiety run in question and Sonic's distress is so palpable that he's shivering, massive tonal clash to how it was just being talked about
Surprise guest appearance from Dave the Intern
Green Hill being overrun by a bunch of Werehog duplicates that I rewound the dream to explain the presence of and then forgot about
Sonic suddenly becoming way grumpier and more unhinged than usual and the comical lack of concern on his friends' part
The rapid shift in personality being NiGHTS's fault (they were trying to give some kind of roundabout moral lesson but failed, Sonic is kind of just freaked out by them now)
Deven Mack absolutely killing it on all of Sonic's musical numbers

My Favorite Music in TV moments
These moments were so moving and iconic alone, but the addition of music pushed them into the longterm memory part of my brain. Then later, these songs got added to my playlists. We all have our music moments that stick in our minds like Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol in Grey's Anatomy and Running Up That Hill by Kate Bush in Stranger Things. When I think of these songs I think of these moments and vice versa. These are the ones that came to me:
Friends by Laundry Day in Netflix's On My Block (2018)
"We got so caught up" This song always comes in mind in the moment I realize how much I've grown up and changed so much from who I thought I was. It's so easy to get caught up in who you think you should be and in the life you're living.
2. No Air by Jordin Sparks in the CW's The Game
The song itself is so iconic that the moment the instrumental starts playing you can feel the air get sucked out of the room along with the news. It just makes an already emotionally suckerpunch moment that much more intense. Also, the duet with Chris Brown echoes the relationship themes between Melanie and Derwin.
3. Heatwaves by Glass Animals in Netflix's Never Have I Ever (2020)
Anyone who was into this show in any way was captivated by this scene. Aside from the emotive lighting, the drenched Paxton, and this entire scene being a complete surprise tucked away at the end of the episode: the music is what really makes it what it is. The little drum beat drop before they kissed! The slow tentative kiss! The exit stage right!! It was toooo perfect.
4. Green Light by Lorde in Fox's New Girl (2011)
Whoever made this decision deserves a kiss... or something else that would make them feel loved and happy because this is just such a fantastic choice for Nick and Jess. After 6 seasons of these two sticking mugs out for eachother literally and figuratively, the whirlwind dies down and they are just together.
5. Dreams by The Cranberries in Netflix's Derry Girls (2018)
This isn't the only time the show uses the song, but it's an example of how the song is used to recall the kid-like dreams we all used to have. The soothing voice of the singer of the Cranberries sounds so sweet, but also tentative, like how it feels to be a teenager. The whole thing is so nostalgic to see the characters, their families, their world, their dreams, that every time they play the song it feels like that carefree vibe of hanging out with friends even though there's so much uncertainty and tragedy around. It's a perfect song choice for these moments we see of the Derry Girls.
That's all. I might do another one with movies or something but we'll see. Feel free to comment your own favorite moments if you feel called to!

i just woke up from the weirdest dream involving Kendrick Lamar and Barry Keoghan lmao
I don't even know how to start explaining the dream, but I'll tell you some details.
Barry was working as one of the characters form Disney (like a mascot?) in a Disney park. He was so bad at it but they couldn't fire him cause he's Barry Keoghan 😭😭 it was like a promo for something, idk. He kept putting kids and almost everyone who got near him in really awkward or unsafe situations and I was watching everything from a distance like 😀⁉️
Kendrick was just around, he sometimes find me and we talked. Nice dude.
I woke up cause Barry tried... idk wtf he was trying to do, like a Ryan Reynolds in The Notebook?? He started climbing an attraction and almost killed a kid by accident.
Insane.

Whoops.
Accidentally came across that fucking Kate Bush song.
God dammit Tracy. Fuck cancer.
I know you're here with me.
Preservance, Preservance written on a card with a red pen.
You always come to me in my dreams wearing the blue hoodie that somehow was as blue as your eyes.
When I see bees I am still terrified.
I think it's you flying around and reminding me we heal with time. The toxin leaves our body, and our skin covers the puncture.
I felt you when I was climbing up the steep hill to get to the other side of Nicholls Oval Park.
I heard a "woot" and wondered if you were an owl perched on a branch observing.
Reassurance that I am safe in this place.
Preservance. Preservance.
I hate using past tense to think about you.
