- Ichigo would have a very internal reaction- like he’s not screaming but he is jumping and his heart keeps trying to escape his chest

- Rukia thinks Ichigo’s terror is hilarious and therefore isn’t scared but when she’s alone she’d have a heart attack

- Shuhei cries. He gets scared, then sits there in silence, sets down his controller or pulls his hands off the keyboard, then bursts into tears.

Being in Soul Society was a normal thing for Ichigo Kurosaki, in fact, it was almost a daily thing. Everything stayed the same, expect for this visit.

He catches your hair whipping in the wind and his eyes widen. Ichigo feels his heart thud against his chest and a sudden need to find out who you are.

You turn around the corner and Ichigo rushes behind you. You're too far ahead of him, but he watches your every move. The way your hips sway back and forth with each step you take and how your hair moves with the wind.

"Hey," a sudden voice calls out from behind. Ichigo gasps and his body jolts as he spins around.

"Geez, Rukia. You scared the shit out of me," he comments and Rukia lets out a tiny chuckle.

"Scaredy cat," Rukia scoffs out, crossing her arms over her chest and shaking her head with amusement. Ichigo rolls his eyes and lowers his head.

His return back to the world of the living is almost near, but the wind carries your scent. It intrigues him and he cocks an eyebrow.

Ichigo Kurosaki will be back very soon...

A few days later, Kurosaki returns back to the Soul Society. His eyes linger for your scent or your figure everywhere he goes. He's always on the lookout for you.

Renji's walking alongside of Ichigo, the two of them chatting and chuckling. Ichigo glances around his surroundings and his eyes capture sight of you.

Ichigo stops in his tracks, staring and admiring you. Renji stops, turning back to face Ichigo and furrowing his eyebrows with confusion.

"Who's that?" Ichigo asks, eyes gazing at you.

"Oh, that's y/n. She just recently returned from a mission. Hey, y/n! Come over here!" Renji waves you over, catching your attention. You stand up and smile, heading over to Renji and the other soul reaper.

Ichigo gulps, feeling his cheeks get redder as you approach.

"Hey...you're the substitute soul reaper right?" you ask, gazing at the orange haired man. He's tall and muscular.

"Yeah, Ichigo Kurosaki. Nice to meet," Ichigo comments with a warm smile on his face.

"Cool, I'm y/n. Well, I have a meeting to go to, but I'll see you around," you wave goodbye to Ichigo and Renji, taking off for your meeting.

Ichigo stands there in shock, jaw opened and eyes glistening. Renji smacks Ichigo in the chest and Ichigo glares over at him.

"Stop staring...weirdo," Renji huffs out, continuing to walk.

Ichigo gazes down at the ground, rolling his bottom lip underneath his front teeth. Now, he's got even more of a reason to come back to the soul society.

It's been a few months of Ichigo Kurosaki visiting the Soul Society, more often than he normally does and staying much longer. He engages in cozy, meaningful, and memorable conversation with you, the two of you getting to know each other.

Lingering looks and playful touches that have both of your faces heating up and hearts thudding.

You're sitting across from each other, knees touching and not one of you daring to move.

"Y/n..," Ichigo sighs out and you perk up your head.

"Yeah?" you search for an answer in his eyes. He stares at you, eyes glancing down at your lips then back up at your face. Your stomach tightens and churns.

"Can I take you on a date?" Ichigo asks, letting out a nervous chuckle as he swipes his hand over his hair. Your eyes widen and your stomach's uneasy knots seem to untwist.

A big smile starts to spread across your face and you excitedly nod your head.

"Yes!" your voice beams out, body jolting with excitement and happiness. Laughter arises from Ichigo and he lets out a heavy breath of relief.

"Good, I'll swing around your place at 8," Ichigo comments, reaching across and grabbing onto your hand. A shiver runs down your spine as he squeezes your hand.

Ichigo's finally got the girl he's been wanting for months...

One would expect this man to be over the top with his proposal, but you would be surprised to find out it's nothing like you would expect.

Even before becoming head captain, this still held true.

While he believes the world should know how special you are to him, he also wants certain things to be more personal and private.

He can shout how he feels for you to the high heavens, but he wants special occasions to be just between the two of you-- maybe a small group of friends and family at largest.

It would likely happen some quiet evening in the middle of winter when the snow is gently coming down just outside...

The two of you were snuggled up together next to a gently roaring fire.

You didn't need a blanket with how warm he was as he had his arms wrapped around you.

You were starting to lull off into a very soft slumber, struggling to stay awake between the comfort of you boyfriend and the warmth between him and the fire.

He had thought a lot about when and where he should ask you, but the way you looked snuggled up into his chest?

He couldn't stand it.

You were so cute and you looked so perfect there with him...

"Hey, sorry to wake you, but I wanna ask you something," he spoke gently, waking you from your faint slumber.

"Mmf? Wha's up?" You'd slur out, eyes not even managing to open at first.

It was when he didn't immediately respond that you would open your eyes, blinking slowly and looking at him.

A mix of something between a squeak and a gasp escaped you, his question definitely waking you up.

She thinks she's being secretive about her plans to propose, but she's sorely mistaken.

In fact, they would be doing whatever they could to try to give her hints.

"Oh, yeah, Captain! I got a new ring from-" not very subtle, but he does like to wear jewelry and the ring doesn't look awful-

Maybe of the members would have casual 'conversations' while conveniently walking past her.

"The cherry blossom trees are beautiful in-" "There's a fireworks festival this weekend-"

The squad knew you well enough to know how to suggest things they thought you might like.

She's a bit too caught up in the moment to fully notice what they're doing...

When she does propose, she chose your favorite time of year or favorite holiday.

It doesn't matter how tall you are, she would position herself so she could wrap her arms around your shoulders from behind.

She would pull a cute little box out in front of your face and simply asks if you'll be hers.

You're shocked for a moment, but gladly accept and turn around to kiss her happily.

Some time after she finally proposed... She realized just what her squad had done.

She's a little annoyed but doesn't punish anyone so long as they don't bring it up. Omaeda.

Shinji Hirako

Okay... This man is so in love with you it's absolutely fucking ridiculous.

He has imagined and daydreamed about how he might propose to you and how your wedding might go...

It's always the same in his mind so he has idea of a perfect proposal and the most wonderful wedding and...

Something always seems to happen.

It could be big or small, but he just has never been able to get the timing right!

He had it all planned out, he had a ring, he had a spot, even down to what season he wanted it to happen in!

It would have been a beautiful little day together where he would propose at sunset! Or sunrise! That all depended on what happened 😉

Nevertheless!

Every. Single. Time! Bad weather, you were busy! He was sick! He had duties! There was a war going on!

So, when it finally does happen... It's not exactly the most romantic extravagant over the top proposal...

But it's extremely fitting for Shinji.

You had just woken up, the smell of food enticing you towards the kitchen to eat.

He was sitting there with a cup of tea, watching as you stumbled towards the table with your eyes barely open and hair an absolute mess.

To him; this scene was just pure perfection. It was so domestic... It filled him with warmth.

"We should get married," he would blurt out, smiling at you.

"W... Wha? I, wha?" You were so shocked you had dropped your piece of toast, whining as it fell buttered side down onto the floor. "Shinji... It's too early for jokes," you would grumble; now upset you had accidentally wasted food.

"I'm not joking," he would grin and pull out a little pristine box he had been carrying since the day he bought it.

He would sweetly say your name and open the box to show you the ring, his usual grin soon spreading over his features. "Will you make me the 3rd happiest man in Connecticut and marry me?"

"We're not in Connecticut!!!" You would exclaim through laughter, wiping the tears from your eyes. "Yes, stupid... You're also banned from the Internet."

"Hey, you know you love me~ and it made you giggle, so it's not all that bad." He would wrap his arms around you, cheek pressed against yours and gently putting the ring on.

You both made up a story about what happened because you didn't want to have to explain the layers of his stupid proposal. (You both think back on it fondly, though.)

Byakuya Kuchiki

One may think it would take him a while to propose, but that would be quite the opposite of the truth.

What takes him a while is allowing himself to open up to you enough to realize he has feelings for you...

He guards his emotions carefully, especially after the death of Hisana...

But when he's in a relationship with you?

He genuinely cherishes the idea of being called your husband.

He would tell you that when you are ready and feel comfortable with the idea, he would be honored to marry you.

He tells you this up front since it's taken him so long to even accept the relationship, so he already knows he can see himself being with you for the rest of his life.

Because of this, you don't get the whole 'surprise proposal', but you do get to do a lot of things together.

When you admit that the idea of marriage sounds like something you'd like, he takes you to get rings with him.

Though he's used to a more traditional Japanese style wedding, he is open to hearing your thoughts.

He likely puts in more work than you do planning, mostly because he wants to make it perfect for you.

A big extravagant wedding? Done.

A small wedding with only the closest friends and family? That's perfect too.

He wants you to be happy, since he's already decided a while ago that he wants to repay the happiness you've given him tenfold.

Mayuri Kurotsuchi

He is an interesting one to say the least.

His way of proposing is far from straight forward and even those closest to him who understand him might not see it as such.

Of course, being his partner means he comes to you with complaints about his subordinates or how his research isn't going the way he wants...

That's not unusual.

What is unusual, is how he gives you random little strange gifts.

Well, one wouldn't call them gifts so much...

You'll notice something interesting on his table and make a comment about it.

He'll tell you it was something from a failed experiment and they if you wanted it you could have it.

There was no experiment.

He got it because he knew you'd like it.

He can't say that though, right?

Anyway, through some long winded convoluted explanation you would end up with a ring.

You would end up unintentionally giving him answers to all the important wedding planning stuff and you wouldn't even know it.

You end up finding out because you snuck into his office one day to surprise him with something and you saw his calendar.

It definitely came as a mild shock at first, but somehow you weren't entirely surprised.

Instead you decided to continue to act oblivious up to the day of the wedding. You had to have some fun with it!

Rukia Kuchiki

Rukia's way of proposing is absolutely adorable and definitely reflects a lot of her personality.

It takes her a bit to decide on the best course of action...

She has been gathering all the important information she would need over the years, after all.

She knows your ring size, your clothing size, your shoe size, your favorite color-- the works!

So, the most important part of everything is the how she does it.

She decided on a date: whatever winter holiday is your favorite.

It just so happened to be snowing that day, which she thought was absolutely perfect.

Whether it was a gift giving holiday or not: she got you one and had it wrapped nicely!

When you opened it, it was a pair of stuffed animals hugging.

One was a rabbit and the other was your favorite animal!

They were velcroed in a way that they could come apart, and when you pulled them apart to see, a small box fell out from between them.

Rukia would kneel down and pick up the box, gently holding it up to you before opening it.

"Will you marry me?"

You said yes, but you also laughed and cried. It was so cute you couldn't help it.

My Bleach AU headcanon is that if Rukia and Ichigo had told Byakuya they wanted to get married, Byakuya would have said that it was unacceptable because Ichigo was still a human.

General head canons

‌originally from the 4th squad ( vet section) on her own request as she doesn't really like to throw hands.

was assigned to captain Komamura strict medical crew when almost no one knew about his real appearance; specifically, she was tasked with providing emotional support for Sajin's social anxiety.

‌”Captain!? How did you dare to hide that lovely snoot for such a long time?! "

yes, she was basically his emotional support puppy.

as it happens very often, Sajin grew fond for his emotional support puppy and decided to adopt her ( literally) as his brand new sister, then insisted to move her to the 7th.

western origins ( abuses this 🤌🏼 while talking ).

fav animal: humpback whale.

fav food: eats almost everything, watch your hands. Really, this girl is a few snacks away from being your best friend. But if she had to pick one, it'll probably be french fries, no dressing, just salt.

‌fav colour : cold hues in general, blue/green/ purple.

likes stars. Like a whole lot. You give her something with stars on, she's gonna love it. She hoards things with stars on it. She doodles them on everything at hand. When friends are sad, she scribbles a star on the palm of their hand.

likes to sing, not very good at that but still on the average ( usually makes silly dances while singing to underline the lyrics).

pretty skilled belly dancer ( which at some extent she uses in controlling her shikai) but definitely won't dance in public cause she's too shy for that .

very body positive about other people, excessively critic about her own body.

very good painter. She mostly paint with her hands (" advanced kindergarten art skills") but could also use sponges, pieces or paper or rags, leaves, basically everything but a brush;‌most of the times she just likes to make little silly doodles.

then she turns those doodles into stickers and spread them across the seireitei.

Byakuya Kuchiki knows the Shinigami women's association held a secret meeting in his mansion when he finds small stickers with sassy quotes around the house.

About the 7th squad

she was gladly welcomed as lieutenant by almost all the soldiers due to her sincere support towards former Captain Komamura

Those affectionate soldiers appreciate her chill attitude prone to jokes and fun as a good balance to Iba’s serious demeanour

She introduced music during workouts and trainings. Music from the west, of course

Now witness the fierce 7th brigade soldiers casually humming Bad Romance while doing their daily chores.

Since Mira’s office is the coziest and most decorated once, Iba started throwing Shinigami Men’s Association meetings inthere

For Iba’s birthday, Mira decided to gift him a new HQ for his meetings by renovating an old, unused warehouse in the barracks, asking Ikkaku some help to edible and renovate the old furniture

Connections

Sajin Komamura : regardless of his full on canine appearance he is still officially her brother by previous adoption. Mira still takes good care of him, she has the most luxurious dog bed in her office for him to stop by. She also got him one of those speaking buttons board humans give their dogs to communicate.

Tetsuzaemon Iba : is definitely like a dad. All of their interactions have the warm yet bickering feeling of a father/daughter dynamic, including: communication issues, dad being jealous and over protective of his precious daughter when men buzz around, not understanding slangs. Mira signed up for Iba’s fan club to show support to her dad.

Shunsui Kyoraku : calls her Mira-chan and likes to invite her to drink together. He pays great attention to her drunken monologues as they’re usually pretty straightforward and accurate analysis of the current state of the Seireitei. He definitely trusts her guts and intuition in picking up the overall morale of the squads. Mira also signed up for his fan club ‘cause he’s the big boss and deserves support. Nanao Ise firmly oppose this.

Rose Otoribashi: is the only one whom has ever seen Mira dance. They sometime shares music afternoons with Rose playing music and her using it to practice her dance. They have a very respectful and delicate bond revolving on mutual arts appreciation.

Izuru Kira: it took them some time to get along due to Kira being really private person. Now they’re kinda cool about each other and Mira often tries to cheer him up telling him the whole hole in the chest thing is metal AF.

Shinji Hirako: this man bribed Mira in joining his fan club by offering her a bag of weed infused gummy bears. It worked. They operate at the highest level of shenanigans and communicate almost exclusively by flirting. Bombastic side eyes darting across the captain’s council room during meetings when they know the other one would be just about dropping the sassiest sh*t that would cost them the career. Regularly hangs out together both in the Soul Society and on Earth. Part of their flirt jokes revolves around the fact they would gladly date each other (but never actually did that).

Momo Hinamori: was the first to show Mira support when she was promoted to lieutenant. Therefore, Mira loves this girl and brings her gifts, treats and loves spending time together for a tea time. They share a heavy betrayal trauma and do their best to support each other in their healing journey.

Renji & Rukia: if Iba is her dad, Renji is her bro and Rukia is the sister in law you actually like more than your own brother. The three of them have a weekly “world of the living pop culture” themed night to binge watch series and movie marathons. Burping competitions between Mira and Renji are mandatory and Rukia is the judge.

Matsumoto Ranjiku: these two can love and hate each other depending on the mood and the topic. Sometimes they look like besties laughing together and mutually complimenting , ten minutes later they’re fighting over something, usually Matsumoto habit of exploiting men using her beauty.

Kenpachi Zaraki: these two really get along for reasons. Mira actually feels safe around him cause who would ever dare to fuck around close to him? She also thinks he’s illegally hot but never dared to voice that, not she would ever try to approach him with intentions. She just likes to fantasize about that amazing mass of wonder. On Kenpachi’s side, he likes to have a new brat messing around him without being scared, it feels heartwarming and nostalgic, sometimes feeds her the same candies he used to buy for Yachiru. Since Mira’s birthday is right after Kenpachi’s, she usually shows up at the 11th barracks with a cake to share to celebrate both their birthdays.

Ikkaku Madarame: for the better time they’ve been knowing each other, he just passively tolerated her, enjoying her little shows from time to time but never payed too much attention to the new lieutenant of the 7th squad. Then Mira came to ask his help in renovating the warehouse for Iba’s birthday gift and since the process took quite some time, they had the chance to spend time together, getting to know each other during those long crafty nights of recycling furniture. He is now heavily crushing on her and gets a little shaky and mildly flustered when she’s around, with Yumichika largest amusement. Mira has always appreciated her fellow colleague and was glad to have the chance to build up some kind of relationship with him but she’s genuinely confused by his friendly yet shifty and sometimes awkward behaviour towards her (she’s not good in getting the hint).

Yumichika Ayasegawa: oh the tea they spill. They don’t meet very often but when they do the amount of information they share can compete with the finest Seieitei’s intelligence. Sometimes they go shopping together. Yumichika tries his best to create opportunities for Ikkaku to be there when Mira comes over.

Im almost finished with the fullbringer arc (it was so lowk boring imo ill make a blog ab it later) but while watching it, i was very curious abt the changes in the kuchiki siblings appearances. It seems like during the 17 month gap, the siblings decided to cut their hair and turn emo, not that im complaining they really rocked it. However it seems like byakuya didnt like his shorter hair and grew it back in the TYBW arc unlike rukia who kept her short in the current arc.

They swallowed that crime to baking like champs: no flinching or shades of green to be found. Their manners didn’t escape them either. A proper thank you was given, despite how much of a film was left in their mouths. If someone else asked to try them, they’d jump in with a "No, no, no… these are all for me” to try and save them but mostly you from embarrassment.

Unconvincingly grateful: Toshiro, Rukia, Lisa, Iba, Kensei

They were genuinely looking forward to trying your baked goods, but oh… oh no why did they look like that? Their excitement faded and was replaced with a forced smile. The thank you dragged out as they looked down at the gift you’d given them. They looked back up at you, forced smile still intact, and when you didn’t leave, a look of panic played in their eyes. Eating it was done with no grace. “Mmm! M..mhm!” As they nodded and chewed painstakingly slowly. “S-so good…”

Shameless hacking: Shinji, Kenpachi, Soi fon

You baked them something? Curiosity got the better of them but soon had them stumped. They didn’t know what to expect from your baking skills, but even so how could they have expected that? Were you trying to poison them? No? Were you sure about that? Because every fiber of their being expelled whatever it was you handed to them. And no, they weren’t overreacting…but yes, they were quite rude about it, even if it was unintentional. Their lieutenants had to remind them that you were still in the room.

The faintest glimmer of curiosity was stomped out when you opened it and showed him the oily monstrosity. You couldn’t really take any more of the awkward silence, so you set it down and left immediately. He wasted no time in chucking it in the trash. Relationships between captains is actually pretty rare.

It’s not against the rules, but it’s also not applauded amongst the captain’s core as there is the potential for underlying favoritism.

Also, they usually never have time for one another with their duties, which is what usually happens in their relationship.

Though they are dating & in a committed relationship, their work keeps them apart a lot of the time due to being in different squads.

Along with Byakuya’s other duties as head of his house, there just honestly not enough hours in the day for all of his obligations. Not that he thinks s/o is an obligation.

He appreciates their patience and understanding with his workload, but still makes every effort to make time for them.

Their relationship likely started as a mutual respect for one another & their strength before it bloomed into something romantic.

Though Byakuya knows they are more than capable of protecting themselves, he still gets anxious every time they go out to battle. Particularly with how volatile the past few years have been.

He just wants to make sure they are safe as he can’t loose another lover again.

Their relationship with Rukia is also very strong. She almost instantly calls her onee-san/nii-san (1- for her respect of them as a captain & senpai and 2- because they are dating her brother) which Byakuya secretly adores.

He honestly would never consider being seriously involved with someone that Rukia hated or did not respect as well.

Should they eventually marry, there would need to be a serious conversation about who will stay on as captain in the future. With 3 Kuchikis as captains with Rukia’s eventual promotion the aforementioned favoritism and imbalance is something that can’t be ignored.

Byakuya would be willing to step down, if his partner didn’t want to surrender their captainship.

Well, first, she would just treat you like a classmate, she wouldn’t realize you could see hollows until you interacted with one or told someone (her or anyone else and she found out via them) or if you asked her where she had been after she thought she erased everyone’s memory of her.

The moment she finds out she is

1. Excited, happy to teach someone (esp if you aren’t all stubborn and pushy like Ichigo, no offense Ichi love you)

2. So fucking worried and stressed like lord help her she does not want a life on her hands (T-T)

When you both found out you could use a Zanpakuto she was ecstatic. She was so so happy the tiny girl was vibrating. She would explain everything to you via drawings and if you complimented them she will love you forever.

She’s happy to teach you how to wield your Zanpakuto, but she might push off some responsibilities on others (mainly Urahara or Ichigo.. or Renji if he’s there)

She doesn’t want to introduce you to Kon especially if you’re a feminine person, she will roundhouse kick him away from you.

Overall she’s just Rukia, and Rukia is awesome.

Naturally, you found the most inopportune time for him to do this.

He had been at his desk, studying or reading you weren't entirely sure.

He was so deep into whatever it was he was doing, he didn't notice you calling his name!

So, it only made sense to go over, plop yourself on his lap, and gently nuzzle your nose against his.

If he didn't hear you, he would definitely see you!

And see you he did, blinking quickly as if coming out of some trance.

"Everything alright, my heart?" He would ask, only slightly worried that something might be wrong.

"No... I just missed you," you would whine softly and look up at him with big eyes.

"... Alright, alright... Let me finish up and I'll take a break. We can watch a movie and order something to eat. How's that sound?"

"Sounds perfect!" You would cheer and lean up to kiss him gently, smiling brightly. "Okay, I'll be waiting for you on the couch."

"it shouldn't take more than a half hour," he explained and watched as you left.

"You're such a brat, but I wouldn't want it any other way." He would muse to himself, smiling.

Shinji Hirako

It doesn't really matter what point in time this is done...

He would usually be busy whenever you decided to bother him.

His brows would be knitted together, staring at something with frustration etched on his features.

He was so engrossed in what he was doing that he didn't even notice you enter the room.

He wouldn't notice as you quietly crept your way over to him, smiling to yourself.

You knew how focused he was and you knew even if you screamed your way from the door to where he was-- he wouldn't notice.

But, you knew your little surprises always made him smile.

This time was no different.

His vision would be obscured by your face, feeling your nose gently brush against his own.

"Wha'cha doin', doll?" He would blink a couple of times as the question came out like an automatic response, soon grinning and wrapping his arms around you.

"Lemme guess, y'missed me?" His grin would turn into a smirk as you melted in his touch, enjoying the closeness.

"Maaaaybe," you'd drawl out and look at him with big eyes.

"Okay, okay... I can take a hint," he said and kissed your forehead.

You needed him, so you would get him.

You'd be his entire focus for the rest of the night.

Sosuke Aizen

Here we'll be talking strictly of Sosuke in Las Noches. Why? Lieutenant/Captain will be another area

So, needless to say, he is a very greedy man of sorts.

He doesn't like the arrancars so much as looking at you to begin with, but he never expressed it to you directly...

But, you're not stupid, you would eventually notice that no one seemed to bat an eye when you pranced by during important meetings!

So, you would take advantage of him using his Kyoka Suigetsu to keep others from so much as seeing you to go over to him where he sat on his throne... And sit in his lap!

Who cares if there were others around? You knew they couldn't see you.

You would proceed to gently nuzzle your nose against his, looking up at him oh so innocently.

"What do you want?"

"You're always up here on your throne... I get lonely when you're home," you'd whine and push out your bottom lip into a pout.

"Alright, alright, I will join you for some quality time, then." He would stand up from his throne and smirk down at you. "You're lucky no one can see you."

Now that he had proven he was using his powers, it was your turn to smirk at him.

"No, my dear Sosuke, you're lucky... I would cause much more chaos if they could see me."

He chuckled and watched you quietly, soon following after you, "that I do not doubt."

Isshin Kurosaki

If he's not in the middle of a literal sword fight or medical work, he will absolutely grin like an idiot.

You can't really surprise him because the second you're nearby he's just happy to see you.

He'll give you bunny kisses back!

He, actually, is usually the one to give surprise bunny kisses!

It started one year when he tried to do Easter for the girls, but found it wasn't really going well...

What with it not really being big in Japan and all...

Anyway, he was dressed up in a stupid rabbit costume and he had leaned down to try and kiss you but ended up nuzzling his nose against yours

(he blamed the costume)

He absolutely loved the way your face lit up and you giggled out with a fake gasp "bunny kisses?!"

It became a regular thing after that.

Bunny kisses happen more often than regular kisses.

Partially because his kids will moan and groan about how it's gross he's kissing someone-

That doesn't stop kisses all together, it just increased the amount of bunny kisses you both share!

Plus, if surprise bunny kisses make you laugh that's a bonus in his book.

Rukia Kuchiki

Surprising Rukia with bunny kisses happens one of two ways:

You call her name and after she's turned to look in your direction, you surprise her!

Or, you go up to her and hold the cutest stuffed animal in your arms, present it to her...

Then attack! Bunny kisses!

It honestly doesn't matter how often it happens, she's always going to smile and laugh at your actions.

While she can't give them very often, she absolutely loves receiving them.

She loves the way you always seem so happy when you do it

Plus the affection behind it all

It's just so cute to her.

She always kisses you afterwards.

Orihime Inoue

You absolutely never fail to surprise Orihime with your bunny kisses.

It's not terribly hard to surprise her when she's not in battle (focused), but she delights in it every time.

Her eyes get wide before sparkling and she nuzzles your nose back.

She'll giggle and bring up a different time this happened that might be similar

Then she goes rambling about what the two of you were doing that day!

It's fun since you always know she will end up smiling and giggling afterwards

It even works when she's upset!

Which is probably when she needs them the most :(

She will also try to surprise you, but it's a bit harder to surprise you darn it!

She also follows suit on trying to cheer you up with bunny kisses when your sad...

They work on her, they must work on you! Right?

It's the thought that makes you smile, but you'll let her have her win.

Renji Abarai

It's not impossible, but it is hard to surprise this man.

When he's not sleeping, he's usually on duty and on guard.

That doesn't mean there aren't times you can't surprise him!

You could run at him while he's holding something and he would drop everything if you wanted him to catch him.

Don't do it too often though, it might be important what he's got 😭

While you can catch him when he's eating, the best time is usually when he's waking up.

You have those small noticable signs of him waking up, the shifting to lie on his back-- his hand scratching some part of his body, maybe even a groan at how bright it is.

It doesn't matter if it was sleep or a nap, it's usually the same.

You would tip toe your way over to him, kneeling down beside him with your face close to his.

His eyes would open at the sudden darkness protecting his face from the light, groggily looking up to see what it was.

"Morning, sleepyhead," you would proceed to give him bunny kisses!

No matter how often it happens, his face always burns with slight embarrassment as he mentally absorbs the situation.

"Grr, c'mere you," he always growls and grabs you to drag you down into the covers with him.

It almost always ends in a snuggle session and has caused him to be late on a number of occasions... But neither of you are complaining.

Yoruichi Shihoin

It is difficult to sneak up on Yoruichi...

But she'll pretend to be surprised by your sudden appearance.

Don't be fooled, though, her arms will wrap around you and she'll grin.

She will nuzzle her own nose back against yours and enjoy your giggling.

Now, she often will sneak up on your and nuzzle her nose against yours unexpectedly.

She'll also just randomly pounce on you in a big hug.

She enjoys doing things that make you giggle, even if she is just mock surprised.

Byakuya Kuchiki

Under normal circumstances it isn't easy to sneak up on Byakuya...

But since you're his significant other, he will let his guard down around you.

Thus, he has made himself an easy target for you to sneak up on him.

It usually happens when he's deep in thought, no matter where that happens to be.

His office when he's doing paperwork...

When he's at home thinking deeply about something...

Perhaps recovering after a battle...

You can just tip toe up to him and gently nuzzle your nose against his.

It never crashes to make him stop and blink, looking up at you with a gentle smile.
