So I’m reading The Green Knight for my Medieval English lit class and I went back and watched your Arthuriana videos for fun nostalgia, but I noticed when you were covering the Green Knight you called Arthur tired. Was there a specific reason why you did that or is that one of those things that, if you decided to redo that video, you would change? I just found it interesting bc the poem clearly states Arthur as boyish and his reason for initially accepting the challenge was pride.

The character of King Arthur that lives in my head has a little more "has been through the Arthuriana timeloop too many times" malaise than any proper characterization of King Arthur in the original stories. The story drifts and changes over time but Camelot always falls, because Arthur is a good king - some would say the perfect king - but that still isn't good enough.

anyways insert analysis on how vivinos typically portrays livelihood or humanity through the brightness of a characters eyes and how tills eyes were dull but the accessories and environment around him were artificially bright like they were trying to pull him into the system of performance

and how during the kiss a bright light was between ivan and till like how ivan was giving up his life for till and transferring his humanity to him

and how ivans eyes temporarily lost light but it returned after the last of his own life slipped away from him and how they shined knowing he succeeded at bringing back till from the "dead" at the expense of his own life (orpheus eurydice save me)

and how you *know* he succeeded because tills eyes shined looking at the person who broke him out of his trance. who didn't let him fall.

Me suffering trying to figure out how the computer pivots open and then giving up and deciding to just use hinges. No but really I swear this stupid little thing is more convoluted than it looks like! Because it doesn’t just open, it pivots! So the bottom becomes the back and the top becomes the front and I can’t really explain it but gods is it annoying!!:

I am aware I said i wasnt gonna post my zelda 2.0 redesigns until i finished them all, but considering these have been sitting for nearly a year at this point (and may have been mucked by the new game coming out soon but who knows) I figured I might as well start sharing them.

Happy belated Rakshabandhan to the ones who celebrate! (For the ones who don't know what it is, its a festival when sisters tie an ornamental band on brothers wrists in exchange for protection. Now it's symbolic and we tie the bands in exchange for gifts lmfao). I got a watch as a gift from my cousin brother!!! At the perfect time too, cause I forgot both my watches at home while coming back to uni.

My thesis work is finally moving a bit and it's equally daunting as is exciting. I'm looking forward to the coming year haha.
