Your favorite slow fucking you in the morning before either of you get out of bed. It started with cuddles and kisses. Then petting and gentle moans. Leading to him wanting so badly to be inside you and you eagerly craving him as well.
Neither of you are in a hurry, and you take the time to savor each other. Spooning as he fucks into you. Curled on top of him chest to chest as you rock and bounce. Him on top of you with long kisses and long strokes.
There's something vulnerable about morning sex. Neither person has primped or prepped, so it's just you and him in your natural state and you two still can't keep your hands off each other. It's very intimate, imo.

i recently have started using my collection of patches, spare fabric, and studs to customize one of my bags that i’ll use for college and to create my first battle jacket and patch pants. It got me thinking of what John’s first seeing adventures looked like and unfinished or scraped projects that he had.
Oh that sounds so much fun! Best of luck on customizing your stuff! I bet it will look awesome!
Johns first sewing adventures were definitely when he was a teenager, I think it started because he needed to mend his clothes, he didn't get new ones very often because his dads a neglectful jerk, so he had to make what he had last, so it was a lot of really bad stitches and diy. I didnt draw them cuz, just trust me they were bad. He finally gave up and went to ask the Home Economics teacher for some tips (we will pretend thats still a thing) and was taught basic stitches and repair. As a teenager he wasn't as shy or introverted as he is an an adult, so most of his skill was learned by asking around. He started helping Caro hem their too long pants, and his other friends sew on their patches and mend too. Taking his time and making the stitching look good by hand became kinda of therapeutic for him.
As an adult he still likes to customize and sew and mend. Eventually he works up the nerve to go to the library and sit in the room and watch intently at the sewing guild and try to pick up what they were doing, but much like punks, groups of crafty old ladies will often pull you in if they sense interest in something. If you look at some of my past art of his battle jacket, you can see hes embroidered and cross -stitched on it, and of course still make his own patches. He has some unfinished quilt tops lying around, he doesnt actually make actual clothes very often but does diy and customize everything he gets his hands on. These days hes even the one who screenprints the Brew shirts for the coffee shop <3

saw a cowboy as i was leaving work last night. i am not entirely unconvinced that it was your cowboy ghost. you’ve doomed us all.
i would be entirely surprised if this guy followed me all the way across the sea but you know, whats a little Yee-Haunt to end your work night, amiright?
for context i did a panel at a convention recently here telling stories about my experience on the overnight shifts from when i lived in texas, ofc you're bound to run into some cowboy ghosts. so heres a snippet from my little talk about my time working in a restaurant on the late shift.
'cuz see I've had experiences before, when i was younger, at my first hotel job. (yeah i'm old and I've worked in hotels basically my whole life.) I used to work in a hotel restaurant in a swanky Holiday Inn in a my hometown (listen i know there's no such thing as a Swanky Holiday Inn but my boss tried very hard to make it so.) i didn't work the overnights, but i did work the closing shift, so sometimes i would be there past midnight cleaning up. one of my first nights there alone i was cleaning the ice machine, and this thing had a huge metal scoop and a pick. and the cook and i were chatting and laughing about something, and suddenly this ice pick flings itself off the counter so hard it embeds itself in the wall right beside my elbow. needless to say we were shocked. musta slipped right? now my restaurant was above a basement, and in that basement was a bar. i could see the entrance to the bar because one of the walls of my restaurant was made of glass and looked down on the entry. it was all enclosed inside the hotel, nothing was outside. so one day the bar has closed early and i'm looking down in the dark and watching the entrance and i see an old man walk into the bar and im thinking, huh. thats weird cuz i saw Al leave and i know he locked up. so i goes out the side entrance of my restaurant dining area that leads to a staircase that goes right down to the bar, and i go down to see whats up and i look through the glass door and i see a cowboy sitting at the bar. its dark. no ones there, i try the door and its locked. i take out my walkie and i call security. and two seconds before he gets there, i knock on the glass, you know the tune, classic shave and a haircut, and the cowboy looks up. he makes eyecontact with me and he has these blue blue eyes. and he gives me this grin, like he knows what hes up too, knocks twice and i blink and hes gone. someone tells me later a scorned woman murdered her lover there by throwing a knife so hard it embedded him to the wall. to be frank that sounds like a pretty convenient story to scare me, but after that i made sure to talk to the noises i heard around the place at night. just in case.'
next time you see my ol' cowboy with his blue blue eyes and haunting (ha) grin, tell 'em i said hello. and remember to talk to the noises you here when youre alone. you never know.
#rj rambles#ask me stuff#ghost cowboy#ghost stories#the talk was about what influenced my comics#specifically caro and their nightshift adventures#i fee like i should do something more with it so others can see cuz its pretty fun

I know some people hate it but I’m very grateful for the second insistent little beep that the microwave does when you forget your food. It’s the often the only thing that can tear my adhd ass away from doing A Task to feed myself

salvation
more details about this piece and my ideas behind it under the read more, bc i love this piece and i MUST gush about it!!
originally started this for soriku week last year in 2023, hence the subtitle "salvation". i finished it in two days sometime late January after getting back on my ADHD medication, which kicked my ass into high gear and cleared the fog of executive dysfunction.
this is i think the first full illustration that i've completed and posted, and i'm really proud of it! i'm also proud of the the stained glass texture and the lineart, especially since it's my first time fully utilizing the former. this is also the first time i did full shading. a lot of firsts wrapped up in this piece.
i'm so happy that i was able to capture my exact thoughts when i imagined this piece, because this scene is one of THE soriku moments ever and i was shocked that no one had yet made something like this. prime example of make the art you want to see in the world.
anyways, here are some alternate versions with different color filters! wanted to try it out and i think they turned out pretty good! mainly made them to see if i could make the colors more ~romantic~, so i slapped some magenta over it a couple times and these are the results.

tips for a broke punk trying to make diy patches like your “Useless Patch” patch!
So the current Useless patch I have at cons is hand screenprinted by me, but screenprinting does have an initial cost and i think not the best option for a broke punk who is looking to just make a couple of patches. There are so many ways to make patches, but heres what I did when i first started. Get some good 'ol wax paper you can get at the grocery store. and some cheapo acrylic paint, any kind will do, those little bottles you can get anywhere, and one of those spongy brushes. if you are too broke for spongy brush, (they are cheaper at the hardware store than the craft store often time btw) you can use a regular dish sponge or even a folded napkin, you just wanna be able to dab the paint.
get a piece of paper and draw your design on it, you wanna be careful with letters that have enclose spaces like O's and R's, i actually suggest if youre using this method the easiest 'font' to use is the basic punk stencil, which is actually literally just a grade school stencil. you dont need to buy a set, you can look at a reference and draw it or print it out if you have access to a printer and paper (library might help if you dont!) these are the letter type im talking about. Sorry for all these shitty google images lmao. ANYWAY.
grab a razor or an xacto knife and cut the letters out of your wax paper, wax side down, be careful obviously, helps to put a flat piece of cardboard underneath and you can tape it down to keep it in place if you want. once you have your design all cut out you can place it on your piece of fabric. with the wax side down on the piece you plan to paint, run the iron over it. itll stick! neat! now you can grab your paint and use some method (i really like the dab with a sponge brush, dish sponge or papertowel method myself) and paint in your stenciled letters. dont let it dry between coats, layer it up till its a nice solid white or whatever color youre using, let it get slightly tacky but not dry and peel your wax paper off. the design should now be painted on your fabric! hurray! let it dry and the next day, press your iron over it to heat set it and voila! diy cheapo patch. its not going to be perfect, there will be bleeding in your edges, if that bothers you, you can fix it with black (or whatever color your fabric is) paint. either way doesnt matter, punk can be messy. I've made lots of patches this way, heres a pic of the recent ones, the Punks Respect Pronoun patch is the one ive done most with this method, it has the stencil letters i was talking about so it stays in one piece without me having to piece it together. for the record i am totally fine with people making Useless Patch, and if someone does, I'd love to see it! And obligatory shop shill, i will have my own versions of both these patches in my store soon when I get some time! I'm sorry I dont have pics for the process, next time I do it, ill take some and post them <3
Thanks for the Q!

I've had this idea I wanted to do kicking around for a while, but as time passes, it seems less and less likely that'll I'll get to writing it. So I'm throwing it out there in case anyone finds it interesting.
Characters finding or reading fanfic of them.
I've considered it a few ways.
RP the character as a pseudonym in comments on ao3 for people who wrote fics. Not as a form of harassment, be cool about it.
Write a story with them finding it in their universe and their reactions to it. Only positive! I'm not about spreading hate.
Maybe just write a drabble in response to fanfic, listing the work inspired by the fic the characters are discussing.
It seemed like a fun idea. Unfortunately, I'm barely keeping up with my own ideas and other writing, so I just don't see it happening by me.
