one thing i'd like to say about kaneki is how neurodivergent-coded he is, just from the first few volumes of tg alone.
let's start with the beginning in how kaneki wanted to take rize out on a date. when asked by hide, he talks about going to the bookstore and if not there, then to Big Girl. hide laughs about it, because in terms of socialization, kaneki seems kinda odd for picking those locations. i can say as a neurodivergent myself, picking locations that are familiar are a go-to, not because of the fact ND (neurodivergent) people don't care about where their date might want to go, but because it's a social circumstance we are accustomed to and feel the most comforting in being able to be in a social setting without having to mask completely. i feel ken is similar in that instance, because these are places he frequents enough to know how to navigate around.
the next instance that comes to mind is when he and rize do talk, he gets really invested in the topic of books (especially his favorite author), that it's seen a bit as a burst of enthusiasm. oversharing, or in this case i see it as infodumping, is a common "love language" of ND people. i think it speaks for itself.
one more memorable instance: kaneki describing food to touka and yoshimura after the surgery. in this instance, he goes into intricate detail about just how awful the taste is in detail. it's not just "this food is gross", but articulating how exactly each part of the sandwich he ate was off. touka and yoshimura's response? they chuckle about it, and touka even goes to say that kaneki's weird for it. it's not uncommon of ND people to have this kind of relationship with sensory input, especially with food. that, and it's also not uncommon for ND people to speak in mannerisms that people find off or weird, whether that be in tone, dictation, etc.
in terms of what i see of kaneki, his hyperlexia more than likely influenced him to go into detail of his senses.
my last note is how using abstract thought was able to help him understand how to proceed with a problem: the egg = the world, and that to break out of the egg is to destroy a world. this thinking helps motivate him into action, and until then was unable to act in a way that made sense.
in conclusion, i see kaneki as neurodivergent, and it's hard to not see him as such when there's also more evidence to back it up.

Ken Kaneki is the protagonist of the manga and anime series "Tokyo Ghoul." At the beginning of the story, he is a shy and introverted college student with a passion for literature. However, his life takes a dark turn when he goes on a date with a girl named Rize Kamishiro, who turns out to be a ghoul—a flesh-eating creature that preys on humans.
After a fateful encounter with Rize, Kaneki becomes the victim of a ghoul attack and ends up receiving an organ transplant from Rize, turning him into a half-ghoul, half-human hybrid. This transformation thrusts him into the hidden world of ghouls, where he must learn to navigate their society, hide his true nature from humans, and grapple with his newfound hunger for human flesh.

Character Master Post
Frida Applegrove is a Halfing Druid who lives in a small farming community in the Cindersap Forest. She refers to everyone in her community outside of her immediate family as her "cousin," whether they are related by blood or not. She has lots of skills related to faming, homesteading, and botany, and prefers evasive actions and healing to hand-to-hand combat. She is friendly, but kind of awkward and sky around new people.
She has a strong belief in taking only what you need from nature, and respects all living creatures. However, she won't hesitate to cut a bitch if they threaten her family, friends, or the wild. She mostly wants to chill with her chickens and drink tea, but will get involved when something threatens her community or the surrounding ecosystem. How she got mixed up with the rest of the party? Yoba only knows.
Rize Ro'aushee is a Eladrin Rogue. Folks who live near Pelican Town have probably bumped into them once or twice, and they own a little ranch on the outskirts of town.
They have 0 farming experience, and have started growing Rhubarb. When asked why, they seem to not understand that it's not common to have a diet of Just Rhubarb.
When asked by a townsperson if they are a man of woman they say, "no." They are fine with any pronouns, and don't have a firm grasp on why gender matters in societies outside of where they grew up. Compared to your average human they're middle-aged, but by Elvish standards they seem to just barley be out of what we consider "teenager" territory. They value knowledge and freedom, and moved to Pelican Town hoping to pursue a quiet life, away from remainders of their past.
Nieszka is a forest Nymph Sorceress. She grew up in a village of nymphs like her. They were often exploited and commodified by humans, and she's exploring the world for the first time on her own now.
She cares about others...very aggressively, and has some anger issues. She's a total slob, constantly a mess, and doesn't give a shit.
( Which.. she grew up in the woods? Can you blame her?)
She is very good at being in the wilderness and has many survival skills. Considering the climate of her childhood, and the oppression she faced, she's also very political- and vocal about it. She hates authority with a passion, hate rules. Vive la revolution!
Despite all her stubbornness, she's a fun, nature-loving, tree gal at heart. Her only fault being a name I have to double and triple check the spelling of all the time/j
Arsen Ericross is a Changling Druid. She was abandoned in the wood when she was 11, and spent many years wandering through the wilds, and finding towns to leech off of before moving on.
She knows some magic, and is determined to find another mentor to continue her training.
She is not the trusting type, and tries to hold others at arms length. She values nature, and holds the order of the natural world over the comforts of modern society.
She carries grudges, and doesn't stray away from making an enemy if its what the moment demands. She doesn't care about wealth, or rank, and is not a person you want to cross. (Pun intended)
Moe Monas is a Bard. Yes, that’s his name. Yes, it’s a riff off the name of the famous singer, Joe Jonas. I will be taking no more questions at this moement.
Now that that is out of the way, he is a spry, lithe half-elf from the very wealthy and musically talented Monas family. He lived an incredibly lavish and sheltered lifestyle, and he knew no wants or needs in his youth. His mindset changed, however, when he stepped outside his family’s estate to tour the countryside with his band, The Monas Brothers. After witnessing the poverty and destitution right outside his doorstep, he joined a revolutionary organization fighting for the common people. At some point, he sustained an injury to his left shoulder, rendering him unfit for combat. Though.. he can't quite remember how he got it. So he moved to Pelican Town for the quiet farm life.
He loves making puns, quoting Taylor Swift, delivering justice, and a certain purple haired tiefling who lives next door.
Syar Troobleman is a Werejackel Cleric and Worshipper of the moon. However, she does not believe in the physical moon, only the diety.
She found herself in the valley on a way to a religious conference. She is the sole heir to a cult dedicated to the moon, and knows how to navigate the upper circles. This doesn't mean she enjoys it. In fact, she quite openly detests nobility, and those that act like others are beneath them.
She has a wild soul, and acts on impulse often, much to the chagrin of her long-suffering Bodyguard.
She will always do what she can to help others, and values curiosity and charity.
Little Bit is a Elven Rogue. She was raised in the Gotoro Empire with her mother, and had many step-parents growing up. She is not trained in traditional rogue-ish arts, but can pickpocket if she needs too and charm about anyone. Or sell them a product that doesn’t exist. She gets a thrill from shop-lifting, which led to lots of time spent in assorted prisons, and values wealth and beauty.
She can’t always empathize with others and doesn’t feel the need to stay loyal if presented with a better option. She is rather self-absorbed, and looks after herself first.
That said, she loves being complimented, and is a social creature. Just because she knows how to work alone, doesn’t mean she doesn’t enjoy being around other people.
“Money can’t buy happiness, but it is far more comfy to cry in a Porsche than it is on a bicycle,” -Her at some point probably

Leaving
Today’zz the day. I woke up thizz morning with a pit in my stomach. I’m leaving. I’m going Outzide. I’ve been looking forward to thizz day for azz long azz I can pozzibly remember, but now that it’zz here, I don’t feel ready. I can almozt see it from here, Outzide which hazz alwayzz hung there, above uzz, azz a bright, white hole through which I watch the otherzz dizapeare and reappear to no end. A shining portal that offerzz infinite pozibilitiezz to thoze brave enough to take it. I thought I wazz brave enough, but now, staring into the Outzide, I am paralyzed.
My whole life, all I’ve known are the confinezz of Hive. The sticky, deliciouzz, honey which glowzz like amber and taztezz like liquid gold. All I have ever known izz sweet. The neverending huzztle of our home which never sleepzz. The loudnezz, the never ceazing soundzz of the life that zurroundzz me. The safe, warm, familiar cornerzz and tunnelzz which I can navigate with my eyezz clozed. When I crozz the threshold and enter a world entirely new, everything I have ever known will be ztripped away. How will I know where I am Outzide? Outzide in the great huge world with no cornerzz or tunnelzz? Will Outzide be deafeningly quiet? Will I become completely overwhelmed by everything that izz not the zame?
What if Outzide izz amazing? What if it offerz all I could ever want? Will Outzide change me? Will I loze myzelf in utopia and never want to return to Hive? Will I want to explore forever the expanzezz of the world, abandoning Hive and Queen and Family? Thizz pozzibility izz even more terrifying.
Who will I bee Outzide? My whole life I have known exactly my role within Hive. I am daughter, sizter, worker, and attender. Outzide I will be none of thoze thingz. And so what will I bee?
I ztand facing Outzide, ztaring into the threshold of infinity, paralyzed by the unknown. Maybe I will never feel ready? But Outzide izz calling me. I can feel it pulling me towardzz the new world, waiting for me to dizcover. I stretch my wingz and begin ascending. Rizing higher and higher, towards the beacon of promize above our headz, the warmth of Outzide on my face growing stronger. I feel something completely alien ruztle through my wingz and realize it’zz a breeze, carrying on it smellzz of zomething that izn’t sweet, and soundzz that are foreign to my earzz.
Here izz the moment, I am about to crozz the point where I can never go back to knowing only Hive. I am brave enough. I propel myzelf over the edge, blinded by the sky and light emanating from all around me. My senzes overwhelmed from all directionzz, but I am not scared. Everything izz different but I am still me. Ready to explore what Outzide hazz for me.

Dan and Phil Rize Highlights, Aug. 21 2018
The "It was 9am in Virginia and I was watching at my desk at work, don't tell my boss" edition:
-Dan: “What time is it? What year is it?” (They’re currently in Brisbane, where it was 11pm when they started the liveshow)
-Phil: “We know everything that happens on your Tuesday because it’s already happened!”
-They spent their whole day on an island without 4G, so Dan was very happy to have internet back. Phil told him “You don’t need Google Maps! Just look at the North Star!” (sidenote, I would LOVE to see Phil try to navigate somewhere via the stars. We would never see him again)
-Dan tried to move on to “the reason” we were all there for the show, which prompted a duet of “The Reason” by Hoobastank. Afterword, Phil said “This is Dan and Phil at 11pm when they’re a little delirious and jetlagged.”
-The island they went to was on the coast of Brisbane, about a 45 minute ferry ride
-Apparently Martyn needs glasses?
-They went to a café called The Blue Room. Phil, of course, asked, “Where’s the red room? Obviously in the basement”
-They saw a ton of wildlife, including wild kangaroos and dolphins, which were in their Insta stories. Dan said if we aren’t following them on Instagram, we should go follow just to see the wildlife, then we can unfollow
- They saw an actual bandicoot, but at first they thought it was a rat. It was borrowing in foliage, and Dan clarified that it was not wearing pants
-Phil: “We went to Brown Lake.” Dan: “Brown BEAR Lake.” Phil: “Brown Lake.” Dan: “Brown Bear Lake.” Phil: “There was no bear involved, it was Brown Lake.” Dan: “I swear on my life it was Brown Bear Lake…” (After a quick Google, it was confirmed, Brown Lake)
-They talked about Brown Lake and showed a picture, but my feed lagged HARD for a good three minutes
-Phil said the kangaroo was “thicc” and that there were only about 2,000 people living on the island, so it was very peaceful
-Dan: “What now, Phil? It seems like you’re the captain of this ship.”
-They started pulling people into the stream to answer the Truth Bomb “How will Dan and Phil die?”
-Dan: “I have a feeling this will go horribly wrong. But I believe in Phil, and I believe in you.”
-The first person they called was named Alexa, and Dan said “Alexa, play Despicito.”
-Alexa was in the car, on a work break. Dan: “Are you on your break at work, or did you just stop working to do this?”
-The first Truth Bomb answers: Phil will die by cheese platter (Dan: “There’s just so much cheese, Phil will will himself to die”), Dan will die via a room full of “Hello Internet” playing and all of his lol randum phase and Danosaur merch
-The next persons said they would die because Phil turned off the airplane mode on his phone and the plane crashed, killing them both
-Dan: “Do you even have to put your phone on airplane mode anymore?” Phil: “No, you HAVE to do that!”
-Dan got mad because Phil tried to “randomly” pick a person that had him set as their profile picture
-The next person was outside at 8am, drinking coffee and living their best life, and said Dan and Phil would both die of Vitamin D deficiency. Phil: “And you’re outside to say that to us, just to prove your point!”
-Dying of Vitamin D deficiency was the Truth Bomb winner
-Dan mentioned that you can pull more than one person in the stream at once, so maybe next time they’ll pull three people in to do their Truth Bombs all at once
-Phil said he went to the “Australia shop” (which they then clarified just meant a grocery store in Australia, not like, a shop of Australian stuff). He got a bunch of snacks, which he then forced Dan to try on camera. Dan didn’t like it, he thinks white chocolate is too sweet, he prefers dark
-They went on about a ten minute rant about the weird snacks they’ve found in Australia, and Dan didn’t like any of the ones Phil mentioned. Phil: “Why are you such a hater today of all the good things?”
-They talked more about the baseball game in Canada. Dan mentioned some of the weird things that happened between plays, and how the mascot had his own local fandom. Phil said he enjoyed “the sport” more than he thought once he learned the rules
-Their flight was 17 hours long. Dan said that after “living on a tour bus, I can now sleep anywhere. You could shake me violently for eight hours and I wouldn’t wake up.”
-They watched Ready Player One, then Dan fell asleep for eight hours straight. Phil slept too, but woke up earlier than Dan
-They gave reviews of Ready Player One (it moved too fast compared to the book), Big Little Lies, and Greatest Showman. Of Greatest Showman, Phil said “Liked the songs, thought it was beautiful, story was alright, Zac Efron was great, good elephants.”
-Dan: “We’re allowed to like different things, and that’s okay.”
-Dan thought Greatest Showman’s choreography was amazing, but felt like it was 12 amazing music videos smashed together with a just okay movie in between, and didn’t like how much modern pop production was in the music
-Dan knocked Phil’s snack on the floor, Phil ate it anyway
-Dan asked Phil to explain his weird “Dan, Dab, one letter away” tweet. Phil: “It was just in my head and I wanted to release it.”
-Phil only counts listening to a song properly if he’s listened to it with headphones
-The new Sims video crossed an ethical line, and people were either really excited or really angry. Phil: “Well, they’ve been with this family for like three years!”
-They might post another gaming video about the same time as this livestream tomorrow, depending on what time Phil wants to go to bed after their show
-Phil decided to bring people into the show to help them wave goodbye. It went about as well as you would expect.

LUMOS NANO Projector Review: Best Smart Portable Projector for Home Use in Singapore
Watching a movie is a great way to unwind and relax on your days off. However, if you are an ambivert or introvert, the thought of going into a public cinema alone to watch a movie is not the most ideal activity for it involves being around strangers. Most of the time, we would trash that idea and stay at home instead.
With the LUMOS NANO, homebodies like myself can finally catch up on the latest movies in the comforts of our own homes.
LUMOS NANO: Smart 2-in-1 Portable Projector & Bluetooth Speaker
The LUMOS NANO is a smart portable projector that doubles up as a Bluetooth speaker with powerful Dolby Audio. It uses premium DLP technology with 1,500 lumens.
In layman's terms, the LUMOS NANO uses the most superior form of light display technology in projectors. This allows the smart portable projector to reflect a tremendous amount of light to the wall, displaying vivid colours onto the wall or screen. This is much more prominent in darkness and on white walls and screens.
Aside from its supreme display, the LUMOS NANO also has a top-notch audio quality where Dolby Audio speakers are engineered in the projector.
If you are wondering why the brand “Dolby” sounds so familiar, that’s because it’s the same brand of speakers used in cinemas across Singapore. With that, be reassured that you are getting a rich, strong and immersive sound from these speakers.
What Does the LUMOS NANO Comes with
The LUMOS NANO comes with a power adapter, a user manual, an HDMI cable, a remote control, and a mini tripod. It also comes with a one-year warranty and dedicated customer support.
There is an option to purchase the RIZE Adjustable Stand which is suitable for those who have no place to put your projector. The RIZE Adjustable Stand comes with a flat surface where you can adjust it to your desired height.
On the other hand, you can also use your existing tripod with the ¾ screw hole at the bottom of the smart portable projector. This ¾ screw hole is used to install the mini tripod too. Next to the screw hole are four anti-skid rubbers to prevent the smart portable projector from slipping when used without the tripod.
The mini tripod when not extended stands at 12cm. When extended, it stands at 17cm. It helps tilt the projector upwards, which is essential if you are placing the smart projector on a lower surface.
LUMOS NANO Projector Details
At the front of the LUMOS NANO is where the projector lens sits. On one of the sides, you can find a focus adjuster scroll wheel. On the opposite side, is a silver power button and a 3.5mm audio jack next to it. This lets you plug in your earphones or headphones if you want to watch your show privately.
The back of the LUMOS NANOS houses the charging port, infrared sensor, an LED status light, HDMI port, and a USB Type-A port. Right below the ports, there are grilles. The grilles near the ports are for the exhaust fans while the larger grille below is for the built-in speaker.
It has a touch-sensitive control panel on the top of the surface. The touch panel has a trackpad for navigation, a volume control bar, and a navigation bar which consists of a menu, home, and back button.
Aside from the control panel, you can control the LUMOS NANO with the remote control provided or with your phone.
It has about 2 hours of playtime and the projector will automatically shut down once it hits its limit. The exact battery life depends on how loud the built-in speakers are playing, whether you are using the built-in WiFi or if you are connected to an external device.
Routing the audio out via Bluetooth or playing your shows at a lower volume are ways you can extend your smart portable projector’s battery life. On the other hand, you can use the smart projector while it's charging.
Once the LUMOS NANO has totally run out of battery, the total charging time is around two to three hours. The projector comes with a unique power adaptor.
Smaller than a Drink Can
The LUMOS NANO is extremely portable, measuring up to around 11 x 7 x 7 cm and weighs less than 400g. It is smaller than an average can of drink and it carries around the same weight too.
The compact size and weight meant you can easily bring this smart portable projector around without worrying about the device being too bulky. In fact, you can even carry the LUMOS NANO in your pocket if you are wearing a tracksuit.
Setting Up the LUMOS NANO
As a person that is not as technological savvy as she should be, setting up the LUMOS NANO was a lot easier than expected. The clear interface and easy-to-use controls make the LUMOS NANO a great projector for those who don’t want to meddle with a troublesome set-up process.
On the main menu page, there are symbols at the top right-hand corner of the screen that shows you the battery level, the HDMI connection, Bluetooth and Wifi connection. If any of these are connected, the symbol will turn green.
The settings of the LUMOS NANO are also very straightforward. If you are adventurous, you can wander into the developer options. However, if you want a quick setup, just set the date and time of the projector and you are ready to start your projection journey.
Wireless Mirror Casting
You can cast your phone on the screen wirelessly using Airplay (Apple Phone Users), EShareServer (Android Phone Users), and Wifi Display (Windows Phone Users). As I am an Android phone user, I connected my phone with the EShareServer.
Setting up and connecting my phone to the LUMOS NANO involved downloading an app called EShare. With that app, you can project your phone screen on the wall, mirror the projector’s screen onto your phone for ease of use, turn your phone into a remote or display your ‘live’ selfies via the camera.
TV Mirror
If you find it hard to navigate the touchpad or physical remote in the dark, mirroring the projector’s screen is the best option for you. Depending on the device you are mirroring, the menu may look a little stretched out on your device.
Mirroring
Be it playing a mobile game or showing off your travel photos, mirroring your phone onto the screen is a great way to share your happiness with your loved ones and relax your eyes.
You can even pull up a zoom call through the projector, although I would not recommend seeing your boss’s angry expression on a 100-inch screen.
Camera
The camera could be used to project yourself onto the screen. You can flip the camera, mute and unmute the mic, on the flash, and even take a photo.
Remote
The remote function is my favourite function as that means I can put the actual remote in storage. With this function, you can control your projector with your phone in the dark – suitable for those with night blindness.
The remote function allows you to use your finger as the mouse or use your phone as the mouse – like a smart TV remote. You can also choose to control the projection using the touch function or the key controls.
I find that using the key controls is easier when you are navigating the pages and selecting your ideal shows on Netflix and Youtube. There is also a keyboard function that allows you to effortlessly type in your search enquiries.
There is also an app control page where you can easily switch to another app without going back to the home page.
Right at the bottom of the remote, there’s a navigation bar which consists of a home button, back button, a keyboard, and a button that turns your phone into a mouse. You can also control the volume of the projector on this page as well.
Inbuilt Netflix & YouTube
The LUMOS NANO runs on an inbuilt Android 9.0 operating system. It comes with various apps pre-installed in the system such as Netflix, Youtube, and even a Calculator. If you are looking to download more apps, you can do so using the Google Play Store or APK Installer.
LUMOS NANO Projection Performance
One of the notable highlights of the LUMOS NANO is its ability to project a 100-inch screen on your wall or ceiling. This is a whole lot bigger than most smart TVs in the market, plus it could be easily stored too.
On the other hand, if you prefer a smaller screen size, you can move your smart portable projector nearer to the wall or ceiling for a more compact size. The screen can be reduced to 50-inches.
Although the screen is blow-up to 100-inches, it does not distort the quality of the show. This is clearly exhibited if you are projecting your screens onto a white wall, in a dark room.
However, if you do not have a white wall in your home, you should not fret too, as the quality of the screen will still be as vivid.
In those cases, you can check out the projection settings where you can adjust the colour temperature, brightness, keystone correction, zoom, projection mode, and even the fan speed of the projector.
My favourite part about the LUMOS NANO is its automatic vertical keystone correction feature. This feature allows you to project your screen at any angle and the projector will tilt the screen accordingly.
LUMOS NANO Other Usage
Besides watching shows on your walls, there are various other ways you can use your LUMOS NANO:
Movies on the Ceiling - You can project a 100-inch full-blown screen on the ceiling by flipping the LUMOS NANO on its back. I would suggest using a regular tripod for this function as the LUMOS NANO will cause the mini tripod to tip over and laying the smart portable projector on its back for too long may cause it to overheat since its fans are at the back.
Painting Using a Projector – With the LUMOS NANO projector, you can get creative and project your favourite image onto the walls. This projector eases the painting process as its vivid projector means you can be more accurate in tracing your chosen artwork on the wall.
Aesthetic Vibes – If painting on the walls seems too permanent of a solution for you, projecting an aesthetic video can help enhance the atmosphere in your room. As I did in this TikTok, you can even project a window to evoke a new scene in your environment.
LUMOS NANO Projector Review
The LUMOS Projector series have hundreds of 5-star reviews that are left by actual customers that purchased this device. It is highly rated and loved by Singaporeans, and after utilising it for almost 2 weeks, I can see why.
After using the LUMOS NANO for almost two weeks, I grew attached to it. I enjoyed using the LUMOS NANO for my movie nights or days when I want to set the vibe in my room.
If I want to use the LUMOS NANO as a Bluetooth speaker, I can simply just turn on the speaker mode and the LUMOS NANO will stop projecting. This function could be easily switched with a click of a button.
I like how this 2-in-1 smart portable projector has multiple functions which could be used indoors and outdoors. You also do not need to have a clean white wall in order to have a clear and vivid projection.
I’ve connected my laptop and projected onto a blue wall as an example. Although the temperature of the colours looked a little dark as compared to if you are projecting on a clean white wall, the screen’s colours and brightness remained vivid.
It is also a great option for when you want to enlarge the size of your game through projection.
All in all, I like how the LUMOS NANO transformed my room into a high-quality home cinema. Both the display and audio quality of the smart portable projector are great and not much adjustment is needed – especially with the keystone correction feature automatically adjusting everything.
The LUMOS NANO can also be easily controlled with your phone which is a plus for most of us as our phones are often nearby. I enjoy how there are various options and ways you can use the LUMOS NANO. Its flexibility and premium functions are something my family and I thoroughly enjoy.
Where to Buy the LUMOS NANO
You can purchase the LUMOS NANO at LUMOS Projector for S$599. This is a steal as compared to international brands that normally priced it at about S$999.
In addition, the LUMOS NANO comes with a 1-year warranty. However, do take note that the LUMOS NANO only ships in Singapore and Malaysia currently.
If you do not live in these countries, you can opt for a freight forwarding service or get your friends from these countries to purchase them for you.

Sedimentation threatens Black Sea ports
Image: The KTU team conducting their field sampling activities. © KTU
Karadeniz Technical University (KTU) has performed a number of field surveys to help produce a sampling strategy for assessing climate change based on sedimentation analysis in three major fishing ports viz., Yoroz-Trabzon, Fındıklı-Rize and Hopa-Artvin, located on the coastline of Eastern Black Sea, Turkey.
The unseasonable heavy rain we have recently experienced in the Eastern Black Sea region has increased terrigenous sedimentation and as a result, the fishing ports in the region are suffering severely from a build-up of sedimentation. This has been acutely observed at the ports’ entrances, threatening navigational infrastructure and impacting the depth necessary for speedy and safe unloading of caught fish. In DOORS research on unique Black Sea habitats, we will investigate the movement of sediment at the fishing ports of the Eastern Black Sea, scrutinizing new solutions to mitigate this critical issue. Using hydrodynamic modelling, the current research will enable us to reach different possible solutions by considering different scenarios and their effects. It will also allow us to forecast short and long-term maintenance dredging requirements for sediment removal.
