Riverdale can pull shit like the Goblin King and giving all their characters superpowers and revealing that someone's nana has kept two alien corpses mummified in a barrel of maple syrup and that's fine because at least we get answers.

And then SOME SHOWS go "Oh yeah here's a new plot relevant character. yeah they pulled her live out of a dead squid as a child. Oh you wanna know how that happened? Fuck you all your favourite characters are dead."

What type of 'Die a hero or live long enough to become a villain' shut is Netflix PULLING RN!!!!!

Either they'll nuke a show after 1/2 good seasons for really no reason, or give it a handful of seasons that progressively get worse until its the most unwatchable shit imaginable
