I’m extremely glad Sam is recovering, and I’m also extremely glad Critical Role is now structured in way where he was able to handle a huge medical issue in private and only tell the public when he felt comfortable. I can’t imagine what it would be like to have cancer AND face constant scrutiny from a wall of online observers at the same time, so I’m so glad that was avoided. Another win for the necessity of a comfortable distance between viewer and celebrity.

I finished my rewatch/relisten of the Vox Machina campaign in mid-December (although I recently re-embarked on the second half of the Chroma Conclave arc hoping season 3 of TLVOM will be announced (released?? 🤞) by the time I reach "A Bard's Lament"). Predictably, I bawled, AGAIN, but by then I'd already been scribbling and sketching ideas for this for... a couple of weeks? Hence the little WIP preview last month.

I'll never shut up about this moment. It's just as beautiful as it's heartbreaking, in- and off-game, especially taking into account all the context of characters/people involved.

Also, bonus, because after I finished sketching that 6th frame I thought a hug was needed.

Ernährung bei Training, Wettkampf und überhaupt

Was soll ich sagen. Klimawandel, CO2-Emmissionen, Bodenverbrauch… – ihr wisst Bescheid! Da geht es natürlich auch um Ernährung – auch bei Training, Wettkampf, auf Reisen – ein schier unerschöpfliches Thema. Bei Bikepacking-Geschichten und auch auf Reisen ernähre ich mich manchesmal doch eher ungesund – rein in die/den Tankstelle/Supermarkt, ordentlich kalorienhaltiges Zeux, Fertig-Schmeck,…
